Alfe's has been serving the Wildwoods the best of Italian cuisine since 1985, during this period the same family has operated this Wildwood landmark. Alfe's strives to maintain the high standards of quality & consistency that was offered from their 1985 opening.
"Even in the off-season, have a reservation. Even then, you might have a wait, and the hostesses aren't the most pleasant people if you ask "How much longer". Once you are seated, service is hit or miss. I've had fantastic servers, and had others that i would have sworn must be the incompetent niece or nephew of the owner. This particular night, I think we had a nephew. We even had to wait, several minutes while he took two other tables' orders, for grated cheese (in an Italian restaurant, he should have had with him when he brought our food, IMHO.). Taking the other orders couldn't wait 30 seconds. tops? Our food had cooled by the time he got back with it. What redeems Alfe's is that the food is worth the hassle!"

"Had dinner Friday night with group for a birthday celebration and it was fun. Food was excellent and so was service. Music was very good for dancing. Went back Saturday night for drinks and dancing and had a great time."

"Went here with another couple before the Sensational Spring Concert. Place was dark and dated. Service was fine and food was fine; howver, it was overpriced and I get the same quality from my neighborhood pizza shop when I order a pasta, chicken or veal dish. THe only difference is the pizza shop will cost $13 when everything was low to mid $20's here. I'm still hopeful to find a quality restaurant in the Wildwoods that can compare to those in Cape May."

From the house specialties loke Veal Patricia to simple pasta dishes, save room (hard to do) for deserts like Tartufo. We will be back! Never tried their Sunset Special Meals. but it is on our list!"

"Strike 1. Not putting some salt down in the icy parking lot, so I slip and almost drop my 4 month old in his car-seat. Strike 2- When the Veal Marsala came out, I had to hunt for the tiny veal medallions buried somewhere under the sauce. Veal was not coated in egg-wash and flour then lightly pan-fried, as is custom. Mushrooms came out of a can. Marsala wine sauce was flavorless and oily. My side of fries consisted of 5, yes only 5 french fries. 3- When I sent my Veal Marsala back and got a chicken cutlet instead, the cutlet was not crispy and had no flavor in the bread crumbs."
