"This restaurant has wonderful decor and ambiance, but has limitations due to space. Mother's day was crowded as it
is everywhere, and this made for a challenging buffet line. There simply isn't enough space in this little restaurant
for a buffet line at full capacity. Food and selection while very good, was nothing really special or outsstanding comparatively

"We had not been to the Vienna Cafe and Wine Bar for over a year or two. While we enjoyed our dinner (the food was very good) and wine, there seemed to be a chaotic feel to the service and attention to detail was missing. We had to ask for bread, while watching others receive theirs; my steak came with the sauce on it when I asked for it on the side.
Our waiter was quite pleasant and had good wine recommendations. The food continues to be quite good but the atmosphere, on the night we were there, was a little off from previous visits. We will go back and try again because we like the food and have had it on on our list of local favorites--we want it to be great!"

"If you seek to have a true dining experience the Vienna Wine Bar will provide it! The restaurant is hidden in the midst of a shopping mall, but once you enter the door, you will find yourself in old world charm and elegance. The tables are beautifully set and you are greeted with welcoming smiles from staff. The menu is filled with wonderful and creative selections and the wine list is impressive, the food, wine and service are excellent. When you add the relaxed and conversation-friendly atmosphere... You have a true dining experience!"

"We went to the restaurant many months ago for a drink and thought it would be fun to try dinner given the interesting menu. Our general assessment is that the place is OK. Not great, not awful. The service was good and was on par with what I would expect for a restaurant that offers entrees priced in the $25-30 range. The food was nothing special. The meatball appetizer was lukewarm. The entrees were hot and sufficient in size, but the taste was not anything I would rave over. The stroganoff was a bit too heavy on the vinegar. My partner had the jaeger schnitzel. She said she enjoyed it, but not to the point of having to return to have it again. The strudel we had for dessert was tasty. We didn't hate it. We didn't love it."

"We live in Plantation, so Vienna Cafe is one of our go to places.This paraticular evening our server was over welmed and not accustomed to the Saturdays crowds. Food was great as usual, but server needed to speak up to be heard over the crowds.Unfortunately the service with OUR server was poor.

"This was our first time at the Vienna Cafe. We went there for our first wedding anniversary.
First the good: The decor was attractive, and the service at the bar and at the table were excellent. The restaurant had a great wine list with good selections at every price range.
The bad: We started with two appetizers. The first was bay scallops with panchetta, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes. The scallops tasted like they were frozen. The second appetizer was a tomato and fresh mozzarella stack with balsamic glaze. This was completely tasteless and the mozzarella was of poor quality.
After these two appetizers we decided to cancel the rest or our order and finish our bottle of wine and leave.

"This restaurant has been here for many years; a testament to its quality. While it is located in a neighborhood shopping center, the ambiance, decor, and food are of a superior quality.
We dined here celebrating a special occasion with lunch. Our food was excellent and its presentation was just as good. Although we had no room for desserts, once the tray was brought to our table, we were sorely tempted just by their looks.
The only flaw was with the service. One waiter was serving the entire room and it was obvious he was doing his utmost to give everyone friendly, courteous service. Once a second person was available, service improved."

"We visited the restaurant after a TV program covering the same.
We were happy to find that it was everything we expected.
The food was great, the service was better then usual (maybe it was just "Mario"), fresh Carlsberg beer and great Cosmos. The apple strudel was fantastic, made us feel as we were still in Munchen.

"I've been there a couple of times and the food is always excellent. This time though I had shrimp scampi and it was bland. This would not deter me from going again because everything else was excellent (app, dessert, hubby's entree). The prices are decent. The service is excellent. One of my favorite restaurants in West Broward."

"We always love going to Vienna Cafe. It's a great place for special occasions when you want to have a nice meal and good atmosphere, but don't want the glitz scene of going downtown. We went to celebrate a birthday and Valentine's Day. Unfortunately we had a server who seemed a bit awkward and absent minded this time. Every other time we've had a great service, perhaps it was just an off night. We'll return, but try to avoid this waiter."

"We've been there several times over the last 4 years, as it is close to the office. the service has been consistently poor. Unattentive, not friendly, the waitress always seems to have a "chip" on her shoulder, never smiles. Forgets to ask if we want a beverage, gives us check before we're ready, etc. We had to literally ask another waiter to get us an ice tea. she brought it to us, and never even asked if someone else would like a beverage.
Some of the worst service we've ever experienced, and it is always the same. probably won't be back."

"This is OUR restaurant! We have recommended this place to more people than I can recall, and feel very fortunate that we live only a mile away. The service is outstanding. I like the new appetizers (eg Not a Pizza), and Per turns a simple salad into a rich feast with bleu cheese and walnuts. The Frikadeller is one of my favorites; the red cabbage really complements the dish. So what are you waiting for? There is no better place in the area."

"This neighborhood (Davie) dining star, tucked away in a shopping center, has consistently fine food, outstanding service, value (large, but well done portions), and is simply charming. You never have to worry about being disappointed with any aspect of the restaurant (including ample parking). Run don't walk for a meal."

"Extremely attentive staff, a menu that is not just the same old same old. The Jeaganschniezel is worth the price of admission alone. This dish is very difficult to find, and even more difficult to do right, but it was very well executed. Even the bread was delicious. Wine list is good and reasonably priced. Don't pass up dessert either."
