"We've been to Indulge many times and are never disappointed. However, this was our first Thursday evening dinner. They offer a mussels special on Thursdays and they were special! The menu offers at least eight different versions. We tried two and they were standouts.The wine list is moderately priced and the chef's baked in house baguettes are simply outstanding. Make sure you ask for the baguette because ir's on a request basis. The location of Indulge is not the best but once inside, you really are transported to a family French restaurant that could fit right in at a small village in France. Go once and you'll become addicted."

Stephanie Wahl and waiter Liam both pampered us all, and the food was spectacular. As usual.

"We went on Thursday night to have the mussel feast. Mussels are high on my list of favorite foods. So, this was a real treat. I had the Parisienne with great cheesy flavor, and my friend had the Marinier with rich butter flavors. The white Bordeaux wine was light and crisp."

"My husband and I visited Indulge for the first time for Restaurant Week, and we had a beautiful evening! From the fabulous Cote du Rhone, to the escargot, pate, mussels, and lava cake, everything we ordered was scrumptious. The ambiance was quiet, romantic, and lovely, and our waiter was personable and charming. All in all, it amounted to a wonderful date, and we will most definitely be returning for a Thursday night Mussel Feast!"

"We have been to Indulge several times and have always loved it. The service has previously been good. Unfortunately, this time it wasn't. Overall, we will go back. We have always had the steak and love it. This time, I ordered the duck at the server's suggestion. I will not order that again. However, it is the only item I've ever eaten there that I haven't loved. Indulge still is our favorite little French restaurant in Denver."

"The environment at Indulge is perfect for a romantic date night or even for a fun dining experience with friends. The service was on-point; The friendly and knowledgeable wait staff added to the enjoyment of the evening. We can't say enough about the food! The salmon appetizer was fantastic, as was the escargot. Both were perfectly prepared. My husband thoroughly enjoyed a very tender cut of Black Angus steak, while I had the Scottish Salmon, which was probably the best-prepared salmon dishes I've ever enjoyed. Oh, and dessert... I have to have more of the Creme brûlée! The owner clearly takes pride in his establishment! We can't wait to return!"

"I had so many people tell me to try this place. So I did. Not what I had expected. The tables were crammed together.The staff could bearly get through the maze once it got busy. I had to wait to be asked what I wanted to drink for quite some time. The portions were extremely small. Our finished plates sat in front of us for a good 15 minutes. When asked for more bread,it took forever and recieved no butter. The (hostess)was snarly to her staff. The addional cost for "add ons" from the 5280 menu were way over priced. 2 of us each had 1 drink and one "upgrade/add on" and our bill was over $100.Which would have been ok, but the food was good, not great. Sorry, just being honest. I have heard wonderful things. Bad night"

"We were there during rrstaurant week so the place was louder and busier than usual as i understand it. But the staff was very friendly and gracious and a delightful study in perpetual motion. There was a problem with our Open Table reservation and they phoned us to see if we could come at a different time. We were unable to do that so they found a way to accommodate us by adding a table. It was tucked into a corner and not terribly well lit, but we were treated very well and still enjoyed the experience. We really appreciated the extra effort to make our initial reservation time work. Our food was prepared to perfection. We will be back."

"Ate there for Restaurant Week. The Potage Vichyssois and Salmon Tartare were good. The mussels were fine, broth wasn't too exciting. The french fries were alright-reminded me of McDonald's. The Coq au Vin was not good at all. Ate the french fries instead. The creme brulee duo was really good.

"Food was enjoyable...very small dinning area...service was great. Duck breast was great, but the leg portion was tough. Salmon pate needed more flavoring. Medallions of beef really good. On this cold, cold night we were very happy not to sit near the door.
Much preferred Café Vendome's food, but this restaurant had a nice cozy neighborhood atmosphere. Our neighboring table had Coq Au Vin and said that is was tough, surprising since it should be very tender if cooked properly. Wine selection nice and the wine special also nice."

"The food was good. The duck was better than the steak, the soup was excellent, the tare tare okay.
What was disappointing was the noise level in this small restaurant, bad acoustics. Also, the lighting was horrible, it would be nice to see the food your going to eat."

"This is indeed an cozy little neighborhood gem and one I would highly recommend. First rate food and friendly service. Outstanding desserts and one of the most delicious and reasonably-priced Bordeaux Rouge I have ever tried. We liked it so much we ordered a second bottle."

"We went to Indulge for restaurant week and they were definitely busy. However, the crowd got to them a bit and the service and the food suffered for it. The appetizers and dessert were great. The entrees, however, were under-seasoned and the macaroni in my dish was very undercooked.
Overall, the menu was great, but the execution was a little off. I'm thinking that maybe some of these negative points had to do with it being restaurant week. But if you go, do try the escargot. And the flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée were excellent."

"We had an excellent time at Indulge. I had the rabbit, which was amazing. Normally I stop after I am full, but I couldn't and ate the whole thing. My wife had the beef tenderloin which was tender and cooked to perfection. The duck confit was very good as were the dinner rolls. We will definitely go there again soon."

"Food and wine was great. Very quite for being right on 38th street and the ambiance made for a romantic evening. The staff was helpful with suggestions and portions were ample.

"Excellent food, awful service.Had a reservation but had to wait 45 minutes in the doorway then at a crowded bar, requiring me to move constantly for waiters to get byMade a terrible manhattan then claimed it was the best ever. Candles were lit at every table but ours on Valentines day. We're not served bread as every other table was. Politely reminded server she didn't charge for 2 cocktails, then she rudely acted like it was our fault and charged us."

"This was my second trip to Indulge. Went last night for V-day and I must say the experience was awful. Food was good service was terrible. Restaurant extremely over booked them selves so my wife son and I got to have dinner with around 4-6 people standing with there backsides right at our table. Also had to constantly fill my own water glass and my wife's, never received any plates for the appetizer, had to clear my own family's dishes and stack them on the side of the table so they could put the entry down in front of us. Spoke with the waiter three times, one place the order, two when he brought desert, third when it came time the pay the $115 bill for one app, two entrays, and a desert 1 glass of wine no one ask if we wanted another"

"A great surprise! Booked it--thinking it was another bistro. The duck entree was the best I ever had--an enormous portion that several enjoyed. Wine list and prices a great treat--very reasonable, limited but stocked with great choices. The Chanteneuf du Pape at $60 was fantastic. 6 of us, all courses, cocktails, lots of wine...for @$100/person--who's heard of that? Our wait staff really was attentive and accomodative--I loved it all and we will be back very soon.
Finally William Wahl checked on us to see how our meal was and made great recomendations for dessert. Glad to see he ended up in Denver providing us another Bistro choice. 12 thumbs up!"

"We decided to try Indulge based on the reviews we read on Open Table - and they did not disappoint! The food is outstanding - I had the scallops with a fantastic carrot puree and my wife said her salmon was incredible. Seek this place out if you love food! And the service was great, too!
