"I visit Myrtle Beach quite frequently in the summer and have eaten at many restaurants there. This time I decided to make reservations and go to Ruth's Chris. I have been to a Ruth's Chris before but it was my 40th birthday so we wanted somewhere memorable to go. From start to finish the service, wine, food and dessert were fabulous. We sat in the back part of the restaurant so we could see the waterway and the beautiful boats in the marina. I would definitely recommend any Ruth's Chris restaurant if you get the chance and this one since its at the beach, had a little more laid back dress code."

"Our overall experience was very good, as usual. The apple crumb dessert, we felt, was not up to RC standards. The shell it was baked in was tasteless and doughy, very sorry we got that instead of cheesecake! It was a bit noisier than usual due to a group function that evening. Otherwise it was quite an enjoyable occasion."

"I have dined at Ruth's Chris in different cities and this was my least favorite. The best part of the evening was our server who was attentive and had a good personality. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a corner in a room with no atmosphere. The food was good, but not great. Probably wouldn't return to this location."

"I was so pleased the dinner for my husband's birthday went so well. The table accommodation as well as the quietly served birthday dessert that I requested was granted with perfection. The wait staff was excellent as was the food. We both had the petite filet prepared medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect celebratory evening. Thank you!"

"Food was different from what we expected. Great for a different steak experience out of the normal steak restaurant. Be prepared to spend some money because it is way expensive and overpriced from what the food level was. Ambiance and view are great. I would save this restaurant for special occasions. Most people there did the same. Service will treat you like royalty."

We were seated in the middle if a section but at least it was relatively quiet
Service was excellent- Kathryn our waitress was very attentive, professional and pleasant- she took the evening up a big notch. Two of us enjoyed the fillets with blue cheese crusting. Two had the tournedos with shrimp -one was a tough filet and the other was ordered rare and received medium. We should have complained but didn't want to ruin a Birthday dinner. Sides of broiled tomatoes, creamed spinach and onion rings were good. Great wine list and great martinis. Overall a pricey overrated steak house that should be able to provide a well textured steak at proper "done" level"

"Food was very good but not quite worth the price IMO. Our main server was excellent but assistants were not ready for primetime. They were confused about which plate went where and we had to correct them several times. Steaks were properly cooked but not quite the cut I would expect for $40+. Ruths Chris was a good place to dine when they offered the 4-course meal for $40-50. With the pure alacarte menu this location is not worth the price of admission."

"We went for Easter dinner. It was quite busy, but our reserved table was a semi-private booth. I ordered the mixed grill with a crab cake, filet, and chicken. The chicken was great, crab was burnt, filet was medium even though I asked for well done. The server was very attentive to the crab cake and on his own offered free dessert at the end of the meal when he noticed. They were so busy, I didn't want to complain on my own. The sides were great. Loved the sweet potato casserole, we could have taken an extra home for dessert!"

"Granted it was Valentine's Day and they were extremely busy but the service and the steaks were not up to the usual high standards of Ruth's Chris. My petite filet as well as my daughter's was very undercooked with a large piece of gristle running through it. The service was mediocre at best as the waiter seemed bored and aloof. For such an expensive meal I was very disappointed."

"Always guaranteed a perfect meal at Ruth's Chris. We went on Valentine's Day so that is why "Ambiance & Noise" are rated lower than "outstanding". We were seated in a very large room in the back, therefore not much ambiance and noise level was moderate because of all the patrons. Otherwise, on a non-holiday all ratings would be "Outstanding"."

"Experience was excellent. Just minor problems 1 seated in the small room it was chilly during the entire meal. When air was on it was set for the large dinning area and the small room was cold. 2 If they are going to use the small room they should provide lights or turn up the lighting because it was difficult to read menu. Check with Ballo at Moghean Sun in Connecticut for the type of light they provide to each guest.
Overall excellent dining experience."

"The service was outstanding. The staff paid attention to the notes I put on the reservation. We got the secluded table I asked for, they wished us happy anniversary and gave us a free desert. The steak was the best. The sides and the lobster bisque were ok but nothing to rave about."
