"We went at 5:45 a little earlier than our reservation. We ordered from a special Tuesday menu which has 3 appetizers,
3 main courses and 2 desserts. They were already out of one of the main courses. We were allowed to sample some wines before we selected. The food was delicious and the amount was perfect. The service was fair."

"The restaurant is nice but really not worth the price. The website needs to be updated as the menu in house and on line are different. The cherizo on the mixed grill was very dry. Panko Brie was good but the amount of bread that came with it was lacking. The live music in the lounge was very loud making dinner conversation difficult in the restaurant. This was our first time at Redstone and we won't be rushing back."

"We were there as a group of 10 recognizing two employees for their years of service. It was a very nice area of the restaurant the facility has to offer. out of the way & very personal.
The only thing to mention was the tables that were assembled to make it fit 10 were uneven so some individuals had to be careful where they set drinks otherwise they would spill.
The food was good and many around the table thought it was great. The steak I had was ok but a bit disapointed in the cut. For the cost I thought it might be a bit better. overall a very nice evening"

"Having moved away from Red Deer a few years ago I was looking forward to having dinner at Redstone with a good friend while visiting recently, as I'd never had a bad meal there yet.
And we weren't disappointed. We had the surf and turf for two and there were a myriad of tastes, and a very generous serving - even for two. The meal was delicious which we complemented with both Merlot and Pinot Noir from the excellent selection wine list (which would be even better with a few more New Zealand selections!).
The staff was as friendly as ever and the service superb, as I'd remembered it.
I'll definitely make it back again next time I'm in town."

"My friend and I dined at Redstone Grill on a Tuesday evening. They have a "Two Can Dine for $50" special on Tuesdays. I had been given some gift cards by a friend to spend there. I wouldn't normally go because I had heard it was expensive. The menus they provide you for their Tuesday special is very reasonable. You partake in an appetizer of your choice from the menu, then a entree and then dessert. I did look at the regular menu and it is expensive. The least expensive entree is $32. It's a little dark in the main area which I didn't really like. It's my guess that the lighting is supposed to be romantic. It was also really warm which caused myself and my friend to perspire. The food was wonderful and staff warm and friendly."

"Overpriced. No doubt this place was once great, however they are just falling apart now. Food was decent although when I made a special request it was totally forgotten about. The servers were well presented, but lacked basic menu knowledge. Nice place but I don't plan to come back anytime soon, and wouldn't rush to get there if I were you. $165, for 2 ppl. A little steep considering we only had one drink each."

"When I reserved online I was only able to get a table at 6 or earlier or 7:45 and later. When we got there, there were many empty tables. The service was excellent, the mussels were so good but my $39 halibut was so overcooked - dry and tough. Not worth the price!!"

"Very disappointed in the service. The only thing I was grateful for was that I had not picked this spot. We were given an extremely small booth, reservation was made for 4. We asked to be moved to a larger booth as the “diner” was not busy. The hostess proceeded to argue with one of the guests that our table was suitable for 4. We did eventually get moved. Wine was ordered with our meal, never saw our waiter again after it was placed on the table, no offer to pour again even when he brought our meals. Our bill was then placed on the table without the offer of desert or coffee. For the prices that were charged for meals one expects to have good service not adequate meals with bad service. Will not be back!"

"Amazing service from both the wait staff and kitchen. Me and my husband go there frequently for our date night and its always great. If you want something special just inform them a day or so ahead of time and they do whatever they can to make I happen. We always have the same table with a chilled bottle of our favorite wine (evolution) waiting for us when we arrive its great. If your looking for outstanding service I highly recommend it. The food is good though portion size for price is a little off. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $150 for wine and dinner for two."

"The atmosphere in the Red Stone Grill and wine bar was perfect for me and my wife...the booth that we eat at allowed us to cozy up to one another for an intimate experience. The service and manner of our server was just right...not too intrusive...but friendly and committed...the music in the back ground was real and authentic as we timed it just right...live music by a young lady in the bar part of the restaurant...the food was done to perfection and the chef complimented our main meal and our side dishes with right mix of artistic garnishes and color...we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and this in turn has lead us to return again sooner than we had expected... within a week and already we are talking about our next adventure together."

"Food was great. I have never had such horrible service on a meal over 150. They need to train their waitresses better. I waited over 20 after finishing eating our meal to have our plates removed. Never got a refill of drinks the 2 hours we were there. Had our appetizer plates sit for 15 minutes after finishing before they were removed. Would never return on account of the service!"
