"One of our best meals ever! Food was so good and the bread basket at the beginning is to die for. Steaks were perfectly cooked and we liked all the sauces we go to try with them. Pricey but worth it. We will be back!"

"Absolutely the best steak experience I have had in years! Also,the side dishes are fantastic. Chef is wonderful. Menu is excellent. Food was delicious. We asked for chocolat pieces for desert and the waiter was obliging."

"The restaurant is located in the Four Seasons hotel. It supposed to be a high-end steakhouse and, in terms of food, it delivers. My lamb chops were exquisite and my appetizer was quite good. Service is a bit odd: There are two many people who try to assist you, but they do not seem to communicate well among themselves. As a result, different people ask you the same question multiple times, and although all of them are very friendly, it all gives an appearance that they are not well trained. Also, because the restaurant is located in a hotel, it is an odd combination of a high-end steakhouse and bar and a family diner. Some groups come with young children, who run around. Although I am fine with this, I can see how this can ruin an evening."

"The food was incredible. While the steak did not need any additional seasoning or sauces, after experimenting with the dozen or so sauces they bring out I would put the wasabi based sauce on anything. In addition the potato au gratin was so rich that I didn't want to eat the whole dish, but I couldn't put my fork down."

"Love the steaks and service at Sidecut, the chef came out and had a word, the waitstaff are very engaging attentive and efficient and its just a great place to eat at.We are in Whistler for a month and will go at least 4 times.I then dream about the steaks and oysters for the next year back in Australia.Keep up the good work guys and Gals."

"The food was unbelievably good, my tenderloin and its spice rub was easily the best steak I have EVER had. Appetizers amongst our group were all considered tasty too. We loved all the choices of sauces. The only thing that marred our experience was the subpar service. We would have expected 5 star attentive service at a Four Seasons but instead, a number of things got in the way of a spectacular evening. It started with the hostess losing my reservation only to find she had seated part of our group already, then deleted the rez! Our waiter was uninterested and a bit condescending. He seemed put out every time we asked for something extra, eg coffee or dessert. Our water glasses were slow to be filled. We felt rushed out at the end."

"This place is amazing. I have several food allergies and am always worried when eating out. Sidecut makes it easy! They have a form the servers fill out so that the chefs can cross check it. It really makes you feel comfortable with your dining experience. Not to mention the food is amazing! I will be back anytime the pay checks allow me too since its pricy but well worth the money. Best restaurant in whistler for sure!"

"Service and food were good, wasn't my favourite steak ever and the rub was really salty, would recommend a lighter rub. We went to the Four Season's Jackson and their food was amazing, so we decided to try Whistler Four Season's, wasn't overly impressed for the price, but my husband like the steak."
