"This is a very nice special occasion restaurant, but the food is good, not great. We ordered a veal chop entree which was not on the menu, and did not know the cost. It turned out it was more than $50, and the plate was comprised of a large well-prepared chop, a few potatoes and wild mushrooms. No vegetables, no sauce. The presentation was simple and not very appealing. There was nothing imaginative about this food."

"We arrived on time for our Mother's Day dinner, greeted by an efficient , friendly hostess, to our surprise we were seated immediately. The dining room was attractive, the tables set with crisp white linens and flatware shined. The waiters asked about drinks and brought some delicious goodies . The staff was attentive. They just sensed the right timing, Throughout the visit. We shared a salad. It was presented beautifully to each of us. No problem. The bufalo mozzarella was outstanding. The 1/2 portion was large. My pasta dish was colorful, tasty and cooked to perfection. Dessert was the best tiramisu ever. Even the cappuccino was served hot and the foam thick and delicious. The meal was a treat and thoroughly enjoyed."

"the atmosphere was great , The server was not attentive and kept walking away when i had questions to take care of other tables and slow in returning . I would not return because i can not except poor service I ordered a Filet medium rare and it was served rare , I sat waiting for the server to ask if everything was ok and she never came back so got a manager to take care of it. But is was still returned too rare ."

"Although the food was "good", the service and mostly the server was very poor. The server was interrupted several times as he was explaining the specials and would excuse himself , said he would be back and attend to another table that had been served already, leaving us waiting. He didn't get our order correctly when the plates were finally brought to our table. Overall, he was rather "brunt" and was more interested with a large party he was serving also. Guess that table was his "meal ticket" for that evening....."

"Casa D'Angelo is an establishment striving to be top notch, but fluttering in a few service areas. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the valet - who seemed overwhelmed - ran over to our car to give us a ticket and park the car. He failed to notice that my mother was still getting out of the car as he began to drive away. We prevented a serious incident by yelling and banging on the car. This left a sour taste in our mouth, even though the valet was perhaps barely affiliated with the restaurant. We were 10-15 minutes early for our reservation, and told to wait by the bar. We were shocked when patrons with no reservations were able to find seats ahead of us. Even after complaints, we still waited a full 10 minutes beyond our reservation time."

Friday night. Upon arrival it was very busy we had to wait around 15 or so minutes for the table but we enjoyed coctails at the bar, nice crowd. We were offered some cheese and olives from the barteder while we waited. When seated our server went through an extensive list of specials, from which we chose from. The food was excelent the service was very attentive and we will deffinetly be back, whenever in Florida."

"Possibly the best Italian dinner ever - the food was absolutely terrific. My veal was superb, an oversize piece pounded thin and with a terrific preperation.rrific preparation. A slight mishap at the beginning in that my apprizer was not put into the kitchen by our waiter, but we quickly got over that and proceeded to have a really outstanding dinner."

"This location doesn't compare to the Ft. Lauderdale location. They had kids running around without shoes (over the age of five) who does this in a supposedly upscale restaurant on Easter Sunday? The noise level was super loud and the decor was more Sushi Bar than Italian.
The worst part, I had a $200 gift card and they couldn't get it to go through on their machines or get access to the balance on their computers. So after a long wait they asked us to pay by credit card and told us they would straighten things out the next day.
They did straighten everything out the next day and yes I did have a $200 balance on the card. They said "they hope to see us again soon" but we all know that will NEVER happen!"

"Wow. True authentic italian cuisine in FL! Don't even bother looking at the menu. The nightly specials list is a mile long and everything on it sounded fabulous. I had the freshly made gnocchi and it practically just dissolved in my mouth it was so light. My wife said her fish was like butter. And we started with stuffed zucchini flowers that were so light and delicate and delicious. The server was extremely helpful although his deep italian accent coupled with the noise in the restaurant made it a challenge to understand him."

"Bread assortment was wonderful. Food was prepared well. Waiter was attentive. We weren't happy with the overall reaction to our concerns about our table. We were celebrating a special occasion, but were treated as though we were annoying them with our displeasure at being so close to the neighboring table and the fact that our choice of table was not what we had hoped for. When we dine at an expensive restaurant, we would expect not only good food, but accommodating management."

"THIS WAS QUITE A SURPRISE. WE HAD BEEN ALERTED TO THE VEAL CHOP AND WAS PLEASED THAT IT WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. THE MEAL IS NOT POPULAR PRICED BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE ADDED EXPENSE. I NOT ONLY RECOMMEND THE VEAL CHOP, THE DESSERT CANNOLI WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL. THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THE COFFEE ...DELIVERED TO THE TABLE A BIT TOO COOL."

"We loved this restaurant during our first visit a few months ago, so we made a reservation for Valentine's Day. Complimentary valet service was quick and convenient. There was a bit of a wait due to the holiday, but the hostess was organized and polite and got everyone seated as soon as possible. There is a great bar to have a drink and pass the time. There was a special menu for Valentine's day, and the server was helpful in choosing our meals. You are served with a complimentary antipasta, and we also ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees, wine and a dessert to share. Great atmosphere!"

"One of the better restaurants in Boca where one is hard pressed to find decent food. This one delivers by serving the classic Italian dishes. Dishes are good, well prepared and served in a timely fashion. The classic pounded chicken or veal topped with salad or melted cheese/sauce is always good, crispy and hot . Always a good selection of fish that is simply grilled or lightly sautéd. Will please most diners. But do not expect anything exceptional or new or exciting. It is the tried and true served well. Room is crowded and noisy but if you have a table of 4 or the most 6....you can have a conversation. Wine list good. classic desserts."

"We had dinner at Casa D'Angelo, and other than the 2 appetizers we shared, I thought the food was pretty bland and unexciting. I ordered one of their special of the night which was a seafood pasta Fra Diavolo, which they described in a zesty and spicy tomato sauce. I specifically ordered this because I remember loving it when I had had it at another restaurant. It was flavorless and the shrimp and lobster were a bit over cooked, and had no zing at all. It wasn't until I doctored up the left overs the next day that it finally had some zing to it. No one else was knocked out about their entree.
They did have a delicious Pistachio Tartufo, and they were great about cutting it up for us into 5 pieces."
