"The atmosphere LIT up with the live music, helpful, polite servers and is even candle lit after dark.
The food was Delicious although one dish i bought was a little small for the price.
The service was Outstanding! our server and host were so nice, and even gave us some champagne on the house when they discovered that me and my fiancee got engaged in there restaurant!
Me and my Fiancee will definitely be returning on every trip we get to this Wonderful location."

"My husband and I came here for our 15th wedding Anniversary. It was AMAZING. Food was great, view was great, and the service was the BEST. I have had Miso fish at other high end restraunts, but the Miso Halibut was the best I have ever had. Great job Tantalums..We will definately be back"

"We have been there before and liked the place. Power outage on mothers day. Took credit card but couldn't process it. Did not do manual charge. we were told that manager would call next day to confirm charges. No call but credit card was charged. Amount much higher than should be. Called restaurant was put on hold 5 minutes and then told she is too busy to talk. Never heard back."

"Although the food was good, not extraordinary but adequate, the service was abysmal. We sat at our table 10 minutes before we were greeted by a server. Cocktails and salads came in a timely manner and then we proceeded to wait 30 minutes for our entrees. After that we waited another 20 minutes after eating our entrees for the server to come back and offer dessert and coffee. After she left us with the dessert menus we ignored us for another 20 minutes. Needless to say we just requested the check and left."

"Went with a party of 3 on a Sunday evening. We weren't aware that there would be a band playing soft hits. That was a pleasant surprise and it was nice although a bit loud at times...nbd. The service was prompt and excellent. We had the Osso Bucco, the Halibut & the Yellow Fin Tuna entrees and they were very good. Nice location, although not "scenic" they have a nice little harbor view."

"Tantalum was fantastic. The ambiance was amazing, and the service was great from the moment we walked through the door all the way through dessert. We sat at the bar to have a few cocktails before dinner, and when we were called up for our table, the bartender was nice enough to pick up our drinks and appetizer and drop it off at our table where we were having dinner. It was definitely a romantic spot and look forward to going back again soon!"

"The walk into the restaurant seemed promising there's a forest theme done nicely before you are seated then we were escorted to our table where we sat infront of a horrendous mural of a forest, the decor went from promissing to a dead stop. The service was decent but not great our drinks arrived a bit late & there were empty glasses at our table throughout dinner. The menu is limited which would be fine if the food was great but the food was only ok. In retrospect there was nothing that was worth 20 to 40 dollars on the menu. Most of these items you can get at a takeout restaurant or a P.F changes for a fraction of the price. My greatest criticism is that the entree dishes seemed more like family style entrees than formal plates."

"We were there on a Saturday night, there was a live band and the place was hopping. I wasn't expecting to have to talk into my husband's ear so he would be able to hear me. If it was quieter, I would have given 5 stars, but I really couldn't even have a conversation with my husband. Food was good, but not crazy good. My Tahitian martini was AMAZING! I would go back (for the drinks), but at an earlier time and defintely not on a Friday or Saturday."

"Been going here since they opened. Always have had a good experience in the bar area, but never in the restaurant proper. With a reservation had to wait a long time, then were seated at an awful table about as far to the back of the place right at the back door, while plenty of open tables sat empty. Looks like this area was once a patio that is now closed in, so it was a bit cold. The hostess staff could be the issue. Too many and very confused. Wait staff is great."

"This was my first visit to Tantalum. It's tucked away in a corner of a center that I drive by almost everyday; I wouldn't have known it was there if my wife had not had lunch there previously with a friend. Food and service were excellent. The margarita I had was the only disappointment - not sure what was off there, but I wouldn't order that again. The wasabi-crusted filet was first rate. The bacon-wrapped scallops my wife had looked great, and, she said, tasted great. We tried several appetizers via the happy hour menu and were impressed with the fries and the calamari. "Fun place. More of a party scene on the weekends than romantic but still a cool place. Very noisy though that was mostly due to a band that we enjoyed so it was ok. The food is nothing special, this is definitely more of a hip scene than a great restaurant."

"This is a beautiful place. It looks right over the bay and you can see the boats coming in as well as a number of water fowl. I really love this restaurant. Our waiter was really great too."

"We have been to Tantalum many times but never for brunch. I honestly didn't even know they offered brunch! Thanks to a LivingSocial Deal, we decided to give it a shot. Our waiter wasn't overly attentive but he was nice and knowledgable. I wanted to try one of the flavored mimosas but he actually talked me out of it, saying that they are too sweet. Ultimately I'm sure I would have agreed so I appreciated his opinion (but was a little bummed as the flavors sounded yummy). The brunch menu had all of the sweet and savory items you would expect but with a classier twist. I had the eggs benedict and my boyfriend had the waffles- both were really good. All in all, we had a great time for a great price."

"It was amazing! I went there for dinner with my boyfriend before attending our Winter Formal -- in high school. I loved the food, we had the Scottish Salmon with the crispy zucchinni - to die for! The waiter actually recommended it. He was very polite, didn't want to rush us. He took his time to make sure we were attended to. I loved the ambiance and the general feel of everything. I am 17 years old, this place was great. I wish I could afford that type of lifestyle since the salmon came out to $23 each, but SO worth it. I hope to go there again soon and try something new!!"
