"PeraBell NEVER let's us down. As soon as we walk into the front door we're always greeted by the host or hostess with a smile and a prompt escort to our table (when reservations are made). The list of specials is always different and delicious. The wait staff always introduces themselves, and are always attentive without being intrusive. To end the night we are excited to choose from the delicious dessert menu. This is my favorite restaurant in the area."

"The food is consistently delicious. I can't get enough of the asian calamari. This time we brought the in-laws who were visiting from Texas. They were very happy with our choice. Excellent staff and delicious food. Looking forward to the next time."

"The food was very good our waitress was excellent the only problem we had was that we were a party of 7 and 4 of us arrived at the same time and the bar was packed so we asked if we could be seated so we could order drinks while we waited for the rest of our party and they told us we could not be seated until the rest of our party arrived. I explained to them that we could not get to the bar to get drinks and we would start ordering drinks and run up a nice bar bill if they would just seat us the older gentleman explained that was against policy and we had to wait for the rest of our party."

"The food was good but the side dishes were overpowering. I was unimpressed with the staff. Our waiter seemed like there was better things to do then serve us, after he took our order we didn't see him until we were finished and the bus girl spilled steak sauce on me. It wasn't alot but I did have on a new shirt which is ruined and the busser didn't even apologize or offer me anything to clean it with. About 5 minutes later our estranged waiter showed up and asked me if there was something he could get me to clean up (to little to late). I never had a manager come to my table after the spill (very unprofessional). apparently a Dewers and water comes in a water glass with a half shot and water to the top"

"We picked this restaurant because of its proximity to the Patchogue Performing Arts Centre. We went for a pre-theatre dinner, and were impressed with variety of choices, prices and the quality of the food. The salads are generous enough for sharing and the wine list moderately price. we will definitely return."

"Pera Bell would have gotten a better rating if it wern't for 1 particular employee-a short,elderly man with a beard and wearing a sweater.He was extremely rude to our group.My buddy and myself as we were ordering 2 drinks from the bar, which we were going to take with us to our table in the dining room.This man-I assume to be the host,must have heard us tell our wives we'd get our drinks and meet them in the dining room.He followed us into the bar,grabbed me by the shoulder, and loudly yelled...You cant buy drinks at the bar-and bring them to the table...canceled our drink order with the bartender and walked away.Not knowing their policy,this could have been dealt with more professionally.We wont go back-until he is no longer in charge"

"I was at Perabell for dinner on a Friday night, with 3 other ladies. Two of us got the eggplant parm. "special" appetizer. We both love eggplant and were both disappointed. The portion was large, but the dish was mushy and seedy. This was a birthday celebration and I was upset to see the birthday girl disappointed with her meal. The prices were also very high. We both had a salad with grilled shrimp added, for $9.00 on top of the price of the salad!The bread was delicious but we each got ONE roll. I have been to Perabell twice before, but will not be returning. Maybe the chef was different, but I will not spend that kind if money for a hit or miss meal."

"Another great time at perabell. The food was great as always, i had the pork tenderloin special. The flavors blended together famously. I found the bus staff to very inexperienced. They just need much better training on fine dining service. If they fine-tune the staff here a little more, this place would be very close to perfect. A goofy bus boy won't keep me from returning, I love this place. But just some food for thought."

"This is one of our regular stops for dinner. Good food and nice drink/beer selection. Outstanding deals in the bar area for happy hour. Eggplant appetizer, mandarin wings, and very solid burgers highlight the lower end of the menu followed by some good steak and ever-changing fish choices. Only small complaints which are minor is even though we had reservations and arrived a little early we waited about 15 minutes for our table. Also with the crowd because of a sold out concert next door we did feel a little rushed."

"We had reservations at 6:30 and did not get seated until 7 even though there were open tables to fit our group of 4. They removed bread plates when we sat then after salad was given we had no plate for salad and no plate for bread when it was offered. When food was delivered they asked us to pass it to the appropriate person which is not acceptable.
The food however was very good. We all enjoyed our meals. The waitress was good the bus boys were not."

"Perabell has become one of our regular spots for nice casual dining. The menu is always fresh and changing, and well prepared. The prices are moderate, I have no problem paying for food and service that's worth it. We took at group of 6 this time and everyone was impressed. The service was good and the drinks were cold. Pretty much an all around perfect night! We will be back soon!"
