"Very typical hotel restaurant. I had a Southern Cobb salad which was dressed with oil, a few chunks of bacon, hard boiled egg and nuts. Two fried lumps of pimento cheese were added on the side and were so oily that I couldn't eat them. All together uninspired and bland. The service was fine but I was only one of two patrons in for lunch."

"The wife and I've been wanting to try Saffire as we've heard great things. The food was very good (I had the braised short ribs and they were magnificent). We especially enjoyed watching the "singles mixer" that was going on at the adjacent lounge; very entertaining. :-) The only thing we didn't care for was the coconut cake. We've seen other reviews where people say, "If you don't like coconut cake, you'll love it." Well, in our opinion, if you like coconut cake, you won't like it."
