"I made reservations for 4 to take my mom out for Mother's day. Our server was nice, but not attentaive. We waited a long time for our menus, to have our drink order taken, to get our drinks Etc. We did not get bread at our table. I felt like our table was an after thought. Other table around us that were seated after us, had ther meals before us. I was disappointed at the service, but the food was good."

"We arrived at our designated RSVP time and immediately were greeted. We requested a change of tables and were cheerfully accommodated. The waitress was very attentive and brought us the Vegetarian Menu once she learned we had two vegetarians in our group. She brought us wine samples to help decide on which bottle of wine to order. The food was served promptly, it was delicous and we even got a complimentary Birthday Dessert for my husbands' birthday which was the following day, it was scrumptous! The noise level was quiet, there were Rose pedals on the table (It was Mother's Day). Overall our experience was excellent, our guests want to go again on their next visit."

"When I booked this place for Mother's Day lunch I actually thought I was booking the steakhouse. Imagine my surprise to find out there were 2 Perry's Restaurants in Clear Lake! But our understandable disappointment quickly turned around upon entering the establishment. It was very nice and the staff welcoming. The service was good, the food was good as well. Price to value, I'd say it's a pretty nice find!"

"house salad? "with italian dressing" according to our not very energetic waiter. I've been consuming "italian" salad dressings for decades, all over the country and in other parts of the world. never have i gotten the sugar taste. oil, vinegar, herbs, salt, pepper. that's "Italian" dressing. yuck
then the capellini with "fresh tomatoes and grilled shrimp" all those ingredients were there, and the shrimp were nicely grilled (not over cooked) but sugar? why? i have made many red "tomato gravies" and i know that sugar is added to tone down the acid of tomatoes, but this was over the top.
i'll definitely continue to go to both the other Perry's, but never again to the "Italian Grill"."

"We had the stuffed beef special for two with the asparagus. The meat was one of the best I have eaten. I finally found something I can't make better at home. How do you get the crust on the outside? "I have often dined at Perry's and I will continue to do so. Although the food and service was excellent the noise level was at a decibel level beyond acceptable. My wife, sitting across the table from me, and I were getting quite good at lip reading; which was the only effective means of communicating. I strongly recommend an analysis from a qualified acoustic expert to determine if anything can be done to reduce the level of noise in the dining area."

"Same situation as at Perry's Steakhouse. Food and decor upscale, partially justifing high prices, but service is badly lacking and doesn't measure up to an upscale standard. We've had some good experiences in the past at Perrys Italian but our most recent dinner on Mar 30 was a disaster. Extremely loud restaurant, so loud the server couldn't hear us when ordering. Took 20 minutes just to get our salads and another 40 to get our entrees. Servers reached across the tables to serve food, spilled food on floor while serving and just left it, went to the wrong tables with food, didn't refill water/wine, and more. Not what you expect when the dinner tab is over $150 for three people. Don't recommend if your looking for quiet upscale."

"Reliably awesome. Always an amazing meal, top notch service, and classy ambiance. Generally, the dress code is more casual than the decor would suggest (in a good way). While the food is always solid, it's a bit low on the excitement level. There are rotating specials, but overall it's not what I would consider a "fresh" menu, and it might be a bit boring for dedicated food lovers. That said, I've never not enjoyed myself."

"Even though we made our reservation with Open Table, we were given a table that seemed to be in the way! Usually, I request to be moved if a table seems awkward before we are seated, especially since there were several tables that were not occupied, but I decided not to complain, which wasn't the best idea. Every server circled us to get to the other tables and we just missed having drinks spilled on us when a server tripped.
The food was good but service was painfully slow. We sat for almost 20 minutes before our wine was served, after placing our order. There was at least another 25 minute delay before the salad... about the same for the main course."

"Dined at Perry's Italian Griile with friends from Clear Lake. While located in a strip center Perry's is well laid out, fashionable so the ambiance far exceed expectations. Overall the food is very good. The fried asparagus with lump crab meat was fantastic as were the stuffed mushrooms. Salads fair, nothing special. Main courses: snapper very good, cooked just right; shrimp, spinach and risto hit the spot. Bar service was poor - Manhattan was 1/2 of the glass as was my wife's lemon drop. Wine is outrageously priced, did find a pinot by the glass at $11.00, believe it was a typo sb $21.00; but while we understand that wine is a necessary profit center it was a bit much. Service NOT present, thank goodness for the conversation."

"The food was good but nothing to rave about. I have read in some reviews that the service is not good at all but we found out that it was good. While booking I had commented that it was my wife's birthday and she was a vegetarian. They remembered that and had decorated the table with flowers (which we later noticed that the other tables did not have) and she was given a separate menu and a free desert. The Belgium White Chocolate cheesecake was really nice!"

"As we have come to expect, the food was excellent. We had been planning to dine their on Thursday for sometime to try to try the Osso Buco - it was excellent!
We had what appeared to be a relatively new waitperson (Francisco, I believe). Very nice and personable. We had asked to have the remaining bread packaged to go with our food. Francisco offered us a fresh loaf - which we thought was very nice - 'above and beyond' actually - and worthy of an extra tip. Unfortunately he neglected to include the fresh loaf or what we had remaining at the table with the leftovers from our plates."

"This restaurant is always consistent. The food is good every time, the service is good every time, the staff is courteous, friendly, and very well educated on the offerings. My favorite thing on the menu is the fried asparagus on the appetizer menu - there is nothing else like it anywhere in Houston."

"It was Valentine's day and busy.. but it took 13 minutes to get drinks (water and tea). They actually showed up right as my wife and i discussed leaving, It took another 12 minutes to have order taken. Salads were brought to table within a few minutes of individual appetizers. Our waiter was obviously not excited about working and his tone/body language confirmed it. He topped our meal off by expressing that our choice in dessert was "not his favorite" as he prepared it tableside.... and i gotta agree that his preparation of the dessert left a lot to be desired. Especially when we have had the same dessert at the other Perry's restaraunts and it was great. Iguess tipping him is what continues to bother me the most"

"All-in-all we had a good time dining, but our server was somewhat distracted. Other people coming in after us got their bread with their salad, we had to ask several times for bread, finally got it with our entree. it also took quite awhile to get our check after we were finished eating. Guess I expected more for the prices being charged"

"My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day on 2/15/13 at Perry's Italian Grille. The food and service were both excellent! We had broiled stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, the stuffed Italian roast for 2 as an entree, accompanied by steamed brocoli and risoto. The risoto is the best I have had, only beaten out by Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco (and that's only because theirs was filled with lobster). We had creme brulee for dessert along with a glass of port each. We had enough food to take home that my wife and I and her dad were able to have Saturday night dinner from the leftovers! The food was great, and the price, considered we got 5 meals out of dinner, just cannot be beat. Top caliber, would definitely recommend and go"

"The valentine's day menu did not have a good variety and for having a preset menu for valentines day the food still took way too long and when we did receive the food was cold. The food and service was NOT worth $55 a plate. I will never go back."
