"I loved the service and loved our table best in the house with the round banquette, food was very good, but i feel over rated and over priced for a pre fixe dinner in this economy never the less it was a very nice place, our waiter however was over the top best."

"I have eaten here many times now and this was the first time service was just fair. We had to pour our own wine. When the meals were delivered the servers kept placing them in front of the wrong person. And they forgot our side dishes so brought them late. Too bad - nice place but the staff appeared uninterested."

"We have been to Bova Prime three times, first as a romantic birthday dinner, and two times since for family birthday celebration dinners. All three time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the service and the ambience. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely come back for special occasions and for just a lovely evening out."

"This is one of our favorites!! A++++++ over and over! The service was tremendous and we had half a dozen people waiting on us at every moment!! You couldn't get up from the table without the table being cleaned and napkins folded or replaced! The dinneware was top shelf also! The whole experience at Bova from Service to Food is worth the extra money you pay for a very nice dinner! Other Restaurants should use snoops to go and have a dinner there and see what great service is all about!!! I never met the Bova's but I wish I could shake there hands!!"

"Very nice looking restaurant: waterfall on the back wall, posh decor. It feels a bit like a NY or Vegas place. The quality level of the food should be a bit higher for the price. Overall, nice place to have a dinner with your friends if your wallet allows."

"My girlfriend and I went for Valentine's Day. A special menu was prepared as common with most upscale restaurants in this area. We each got to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

The food was very good, unfortunately the setting was not very intimate. This may have been because of the high volume they were expecting for Vday. The tables were within a foot and a half of each other. We were seated next to an older gentleman and a working girl. Had we been boothed or sat further apart, this wouldn't have been an issue, but their topic of conversation could be heard and if we were more conservative in nature could have been a buzzkill.

Overall, food was great, not worth $$ or atmosphere."

"I was nicely greeted upon arrival however, that's where the positive experience at Bova Prime ended. 1) The restaurant incorrectly prepared our steaks (ordered two medium well and they were presented medium & rare). 2) The waiter misquoted the number of foie gras sliders per order stating there were 3 and only 2 arrived. When I pointed out the discrepency I was told that I was simply misinformed and I was welcome to place a another order versus owning up to the mistake and bringing the 3rd slider to the table as offered.
3) The foie gras sliders were terribly prepared. No one at the table could eat them. The foie gras was gelatinous, poor flavor and the buns were cold.

This restaurant does not deliver on the premium prices it charges."

"Do you like fat old guys in thongs and gold chains? It is not quite that bad, but this restaurant has loud thumping dance music which might make you think it is a place for 20 year olds. Not so! The bar crowd is 30+ (late 30+). Maybe you go there trying to pretend you are still in your 20s? No one dances. Strangely the dining crowd is 50+ and the wait staff is very professional old school Italian. The food is good but difficult to enjoy with the thumping loud music. The lighting is all super white LED, which does not flatter the food or the patrons one little bit. Makes the food look gray and the patrons look like corpses. I won't go back."

"A very popular place, we went on a Thursday night, had a drink at the bar and it was quite vibrant. Our table was ready on time, we had a great dinner, the food was tasty and the service very professional. "Four of us dined and all the meals were good except for mine. I had the Lemon Chicken with Artichokes and it was substandard. I honestly think they gave me the leftovers from the kitchen. First of all, it was all dark meat - a thigh and two legs. What kind of fine restaurant serves dark meat? There were maybe four fingerling potatoes and two artichokes. The taste was ok but it really seemed like they just threw it together. The waiter told me it was a specialty dish that takes 45 minutes to cook and it came out in 20. The filets seem the way to go if I dine there again."

"Bova continues to be our choice for solid interpretations of classic Italian dishes. For starters, the Tuna Milanese, lightly breaded Ahi Tuna with Wasabi Aoili, is a great interpretation of the usual seared Ahi Tuna. The menu features a broad range of Pasta, Fish and Meat dishes, all well prepared. The wine list, a touch pricy, offers plenty of options.

Our table was expertly serviced by a "team" of waiters, who are friendly and knowledgable. This swank, sytlish restaurant has a private, champagne room upstairs for special occasions, and almost always has some sort of techno background or live music playing, and can get a little loud. The bar is vibrant and lively. Outdoor seating is also available."

"The food is outstanding. The menu has something for everyone and everything is delicious. They did not rush us and we had a wonderful overall experience. We ate there at the end of last season and remembered it was worth going back to. The other couple had never been there before and have not stopped talking about since Saturday night."
