"I had brought my family, including 2 grandmother's for mother's day and everyone loved the ambiance of the restaurant and our attentive server (she was really great and gave good tips on the food). The food was very good and fresh.

Would recommend and visit again."

"I eat at the here regularly and usually order the Casbah Cashew Chicken as it is delicious. I ordered the said dish but I was brought the special of the day (Mahi Mahi served in green curry and rice). While it was pleasant enough, and the server offered to return it for what I ordered, it was a disappointment. Returning it was not an option because we we on a tight schedule, and the fact that I did not eat what I went to the Matahar for, left me wanting. I still do highly recommend this restaurant and I will return myself. I will just be certain to be clearer when I place my order.

This restaurant is very conveniently located near all of the University hospitals and the staff are always very friendly."

"I've been to Matahari Bar & Grill several times. I highly recommend their fish curry special (when it is offered). Definitely a good place to go for a quiet meal with work colleagues or friends. They've made a mistake with my order one time, but overall, their services and food have been consistently good."

"The crew at Matahari were super helpful, and knowing that we had a mix of a person who'd never had good from the region, a picky eater, and a vegetarian, they made recommendations and asked appropriate questions to find out people's preferences and dietary restrictions. By doing so, they were able to ensure everyone enjoyed their meal.

Definitely try the Char Kway Teow! Delicious! The Laksa was pretty good, too! Maybe not as good as what I've had in Singapore, but definitely better than most I've tried here! Overall, I was very pleased with the food and service!"

"One of our favorites. Maylasian fusion food which is declicious, a nice blend of spice and heat at a very reasonable cost. It's so good that we haven't found anything like it in our city so we will make the one hour drive just to have dinner here. The owner is a great guy who always remembers your preferences. Dinner entrees $15 to $18, a great deal in the heart of Toronto."

"Matahari will always be a favorite. We have been dining here for almost 20 years and love the food, especially the Cashew Chicken. We actually crave it. My friends and family use it as a place to celebrate our accomplishments and our friendships. Their spring rolls are the best we have had in the city."
