Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "We had a wonderful family style Mother's Day brunch at Buca di Beppo. Everyone left with a smile on thier faces and a satisfied appetite. The service was great and the meals were served quickly. The food had great taste and was served at the approprite temperatures. We plan to do some take-out for a graduation party next month from Buca di Beppo."

"It wasn't a busy night and lots of empty tables around us. There were at least two other tables aside from ours that occupied the smaller room downstairs. Waiter was initially good, friendly.. But would take forever to get back to us.. Didn't check in enough after appetizers or meals were provided.. And we needed things like butter or to order something more.. We felt we kept looking for him.. Having to wait and wait.. And finally would just ask ANY waiter passing by..cause our waiter disappeared.Food very good and worth the visit.. But if service is neglectful.. It leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. I have come before and had a very good waitress.. When that's squared away and good food.. It's worth bringing a group of people to enjoy"

"We were a group of 10 coworkers all traveling on business. We found the food, ambiance and service well matched to the relaxing yet energetic mood. Buca di Beppo was an excellent choice for the evening. Important to put one person in charge of ordering, which worked great for us. Everyone spoke highly of the dinner the next day at the office."

"Good place for large portions of pasta. We went there with family friends because our kids love pasta and the restaurant is good for groups. The room we were in were tight. Tables were close to each other. There were 2 other larger groups in the room and a few tables of 4-5 people. When the room was packed, it gets loud in there. Popular with the local young adult sports teams. Ordered their spaghetti with meatball and a few other things. Spaghetti was over cooked I would have preferred al dente."

It was easily enough for 4 (and we had teen aged boys with us!)While the food was OK to good, I felt ripped off because we ended up ordering way too much. "Although the entrance to this restaurant is less than desirable and one feels like he is entering the kitchen via the employee door, Buca di Beppo is a good family restaurant with dependable Italian food. The three main dining rooms make one feel like he is dining in Italy, and the soup, salad, and pasta entrees we ordered were all good. The service is friendly, the quantities are large, and the prices are fair making this a good choice for lunch or casual dinner."

"Served family style...."small" is enough for 2, and "large" is enough for 4. Nearly everyone brings leftovers home for a 2nd (or 3rd) meal. So for 2 you order one main course. Same for the huge desserts. Even the appetizer came with 12 slices of garlic bread and a bowl of tomatoes, etc. We'll be back. Good for birthday dinners...the "happy birthday" part is attended by many of the staff."

"I like the large menu and family style meals. Easy for groups. We had several very good dishes, the salmon and the caprese appetizer were stand outs. Overall the food is good, I can't get too excited about it but it is tasty and predictable Italian. We went on a slower week night so it wasn't crazy - but on weekends it can be very hectic."

"Buca di Beppo - Palo Alto was fantastic!! The food was greatest! The service was greater! The price was great!! Our reservation time was met sharp with a table ready for us. My fiancée had never eaten at Buca. I like to take her to places she's never been. I decided Buca would be a perfect place for our Valentine's Day dinner. She loved it so much she wants us to go back within the next several weeks. She's only done that once with a restaurant in the 12 years we've been together. That comment alone says it all for how much we enjoyed our evening at Buca di Beppo. Thank you."

"Absolutely wonderful experience. Our engagement dinner where two families met for the first time. The attendance was somewhat uncertain, so reserved for 8. Two extra showed up, so the staff worked to try and expand the table possibilities, but then two expected attendees did not show up. They rolled with the punches and gave us a fantastic time.
