Buca di Beppo - Mira Mesa
Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our décor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "Its been 7 years since I have ate at Buca di Beppo and it will probably be my last time for a while. We went for Mothers Day which included myself, wife, my 3 kids and my wife's aunt and grandson. When asking the waiter what size/how many entrees we should order, he said 3 large entrres. We also ordered a small salad and cheesesy Garlic Bread. When we got the food...we could of easly feed 14 people and had way to much food leftover. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (this tasted horrible),the Fettacini (it was ok and the sauce lacked the taste we love about Fettachini and some other noddle dish (dont remember the name ( but it was also ok). The best thing we had was the Garlic bread and salad. I was very dissapointed with the taste!"

"Great place for group events. We had Mother's Day dinner there. The server was nice. Managed to check in with us often even though it was a busy night. They ran out of bread, which was unfortunate, they should have planned ahead for this for Mother's Day. My son was looking forward to it. Everything was great otherwise."

"My husband and I take our 2 elementary school-aged children to Buca when we want a night out that's a bit more special than the usual but kid-friendly. This fits the bill. The atmosphere is fun, and the kids can't get enough bread with olive oil and vinegar."

"Everyone was friendly & courteous. The kids meal came out quickly, that's always a plus! Everything else was a little slow that evening. However, it was tough to get a refill of water or to even find our waiter. We had to fend for ourselves at the end of our meal and make sure we got our check on time. I think dinner took longer than usually because it was Valentine's day, but no exuses. Never let a customer go thirsty or keep them waiting too long to order dessert & pay the check. I can't recommend going to Buca on Valentine's day with a child. I doubt we will return to Buca next year."

"We came here with the kids for Valentine's thinking it would be a fun idea. Slow service and food wasn't the quality I would expect at Bucca. Our server was kind but very unattentive, we had plates on our table that needed to be cleared, drinks needing to refilled and we needed to request the check long after our meal was over. Not a bad place but definitely do not plan on dining again here anytime soon."

"Growing up Italian I don't really like going to Italian restaurants. More often than not I am disappointed in the food. I wasn't expecting to like Buca di Beppo's but had to go since it was a work function. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good! The servings are enormous & the wait staff is incredible.
