Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "We have been eating at Buca for many years and this was the first really poor experience. We always order the chicken marsala and usually they use fresh plump chicken breasts, large mushrooms and marsala sauce. The chicken was flat and very poor quality, the mushrooms small and tasteless and the sauce appeared to be a very watery gravy. We also ordered the pasta aldredo which was almost inedible, far too much sauce and the pasta was badly over-cooked. Hugely disappointing."

"We went for Mother's Day and so glad we had a reservation. Was seated immediately when others without reservations had to wait at least an hour. Food was good. Just wish they offered free bread/rolls. Would really be helpful then paying $8+ for 4 pieces of bread to help with eating spaghetti. Other than that had a nice time."

"I have tried Buca di Beppo a few times in the past, each time with the same results. Slow service - food never comes out together and refills had to be requested. We got a salad, which was pretty good, then a pizza, one pasta, and two kids meals. The kids meals came out first with the pizza about 5 minutes behind. The past arrived over twenty minutes later.
The food was boring and not in any was special. I like good quality food that shows the chef put some thought into it. The food here is about as average as a cafeteria. I would not recommend this place. It is just as expensive as a nice Italian Restaurant, but with must lower quality."

"Tried two menu items we never had before. The appetizer we chose was the Cheesy Bread Florentine, and we really liked it. The stuffed shells were new for us, too, and my husband and I enjoyed them because they were not too spicy and very tasty. We finally found a dish we can agree on."

"Generally I love Buca di Beppo. My only complaints would be after making a reservation every time we go, we always have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for a table. I thought the point of making a reservation was so you don't have this kind of wait. As we are being taken to our table, there are plenty of tables available, so I don't understand this long wait. The last time we went we were put in a room with a couple other families who were waiting for their checks. By the time we got our drinks the other families had left, leaving us in a large room alone and virtually forgotten about by our waitress. The food is always good and the staff very friendly, just prepare yourself for a wait."

"My family and I all went for my dads birthday, this most all of our first time except one. Everything was great! We all enjoyed it all! The food is all shareable, and will have many leftovers :). "My family loves to go to this place - it is pricy, but the food is always delicious and the portions are huge! We always go for a special day, and it is always for the family so no one is left out. It is fun to see all the things hanging on the walls and there is always something to talk about. This time was for my son's 18th birthday and it was a blast - they sang and gave him a yummy brownie with the candles on the table - very nice touch. He loved it, and he took home a huge portion of his favorite shrimp pasta leftovers so he is still happy days later. Thank you!"

"I was pretty upset when I got there I was greeted not so good I had my reservation at 9:15 pm and got there at 8:50 and the girl greeter was. So rude so my point is that if I got there at 8:50 and I was sat Dow till 9:20 and I sat and waited in the waiting area other people came and said they had a reservation till 930 why where they sat first than we I'm never going back to that bucca I rather stick with the one in Anaheim."

"If it wasn't for the manager, Kevin's ability to respond to the less than perfect service we received on this occassion, I would NEVER return to this location again. Not only was our server under-par for attentiveness, she tried to cover her mistake of not turning in 2 kids' orders by arguing with my daughter that the kids' meals are provided AFTER the rest of the meals are served! How ridiculous is that?! Always try to feed the kids first since their attention span is less than adults and in our case, they were HUNGRY! How long does it take to make kids' mac-n-cheese and chicken nuggets meal? Service is normally perfect and it wasn't even busy for a Thursday eve (reservations were at 7pm)."

"The waiter was nice not very quick with service, we came on a wednesday night and not at all busy. You can always count on the bread, if you don't ask for it they will not bring it to you also one small bowl of olive oil and vinegar for a table of 6 people to share. This is a place to go to if you all want to be seated together."

"This was my first visit here. My reservations were prompt..the table was a perfection setting.since I am in a wheelchair.The flowers we're delivered and placed in table before I got there. The food was excellent."

"Is a good place for large groups - the food is only "good" and certainly not even close to gormet. Server was attentive enough and did watch her tables and asked as appropriate how the meal was doing. High noise level - but this is certainly a place for larger gatherings."
