"we went to baoli in cannes several times so we knew what to expect. the miami location does not fully match the baoli style of cannes but still is very cool. food was very good, the truffle risotto exceptional. service was kind and careful and wine list is also good. overall a great dining evening at baoli."

"Initially we were concerned with our decison. The hostess had a sour puss from the moment we walked in. The bar tab was outrageous for two drinks and choice of premium liquor was limited. Once we were seated in the garden, which is lovely and optimum choice, there were not enough menus for the four of us. We were told because there were many large parties...which there were...but should never be a factor. Suprisingly the four appetizers I shared as my appetizer and and entree were delicous and the music was great. Even the corny ode to MJ was a blast. Not sure I would spend that kind of money at Biola again. They dont quite have the whole package yet."

"In this restaurant I met an excellent combination of good food and vibes.
There was a cool crowd and uprisingly good food. superb sea bass with orange saus . Home made pasta with seafood really delicious.
Charming waiters. Would go back weekly when possible. Hope to find the same kitchen in Cannes this season."

"A dining experience to remember. If you plan on dining, please budget for the occassion. While the scence is hot and steamy, just like you would expect from South Beach, the culinary cuisne and prices remind me of sophiscated restaurant in Soho. The indoor/outside vibe is spectacular. White truffle dish, is amazaing...best sea bass..ever. The wait staff, and partrons are all beautiful, great anniversary, or special occassion restaurant. Too much $$ for a first date, unless you're Diddy, or new Dolphin Mike Wallace. Excellent experience."

"Unfortunately was a disappointment . The service is very bad, the music is too loud and the DJ was
Paying attention in his girlfriend and not in the music. Our table was the one with the high chairs and so small as uncomfortable .
A completely disaster. Thanks god I'm in a good company of my friends and we had a lot fun, but we left for another place."

"It's a shame that even though the food is great and the general ambiance very nice, the service is VERY VERY POOR. We made reservation for 8 o'clock, arrived on time, and had to wait around 20 mins for our table, which was not previously occupied. The seats were wet because it recently rained and the waitress didn't care to dry it, so we had to sit over napkins. Then our waiter drop food over one of my friends and scarcely apologized for it. At the end, we didn't have the option to reduce the 18% tip included in our check, which was definitively not deserved. Would not recommend the place"

"From the moment we arrived, there was a group of 3-4 waiters/staff members conversing about miscellaneous issues right by our table. Very distracting and irritating. A man that looked like he was Management approached the group, said a few things, walked away, and did not break it up. Big turn off.

$300 bill for a party of 2 not worth the food, at all. Food was about average. Nothing too special. Service, about the same. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend or return."

"What fun! We came for the food and stayed for the atmosphere. The food we had was very good....Flavorful steak tartar, melt in your mouth beef carpaccio and a very nicely done steak....paired with amazing truffled mashed potatoes ( it'll cost you!).The service was well choreographed, we felt very well taken care of. But what kept us there for after dinner cocktails was the great entertainment. They had a resident DJ playing some reaaly good music ( even for us 50-somethings) and then the bar antics.....I won't ruin it for you. Go have some fun!"

"The food and ambiance was very good. Started off with a great civiche with shrimp, lobster and scallops. I had lamb chops which were excellent, and ordered a side of sauteed spinach. My husband had a veal chop which was breaded, pounded and had sauce and mozerella on it. It was served with a salad, and he enjoyed it as well.

For the price that you pay, I believe the service should have been much better. We had a waiter that spoke French and paid special to two tables of patrons who spoke French, and totally ignored my table and the table next to us.

I would return here if I had a different waiter.

Also, no one told us that if you park in the parking lot, you should get your ticket validated, and it would only cost $15 dollars."

"I have a mixed review. I took my husband here for his birthday and the first thing that the hostess says to us upon seating is "I need this table by 10:15." This is a restaurant that you pay lots of $ not just for the food but for the experience. I was dumbfounded and told the waitress that we have never heard anything like that in our years of being foodies and going to many notable restaurants. The place is really nice, the food is great and our waitress happened to be amazing. After a while the initial bitter taste in my mouth left by the hostess dissolved but that is a major no no in my book!"

"Funky, super chill "outdoor dining" in a green-filled courtyard open to the sky. We are there on a perfect weather night, with a comfortable temperature and clear skies. Chandeliers hanging from trees and a bar that occasionally was lit on fire (literally) made this a unique experience. Food is very good, with well made steaks and a host of foodie-type dishes (black truffles, lobster, oysters, etc). They tend to overbook, so ultimately they try to rush you from your table. Not cool, but what do you expect in south beach. The hostesses are beautiful but completely snobby and unhelpful; again, to be expected. Still, this is a super hip place to dine and drink."
