"They have a great menu with a broad variety. My daughter who is vegetarian can find something as well has my son who will eat anything. We have been here twice and both times they have been very accommodating ."

"I took my wife here for Valentine's Day. She loved it. The food and service were outstanding. The restaurant was clean and nice. There is a bar below and a formal dining area upstairs. Eat up stairs if you want a nice quiet dinner. The service staff are polite and helpful. We had a 3 course Prix-Fixe meal. It was worth every penny! 1. Appetizer = Great. 2. Entree = Great 3. Dessert = Great!"

"Ate at the Brass Rail for Valentine's Day. The menu was prix fixe and a tad pricey, but the appetizers and entrées were absolutely incredible, with a good variety of options. None of the dessert options were ones that we were excited about, but very good nonetheless. Very attentive and friendly staff, good ambiance, and a very positive experience overall."

"I treated my boyfriend to dinner here last night and took advantage of restaurant week. I read the Yelp reviews ahead of time and they're mixed. The first I noticed, this place is loud. Out waitress was excellent and very attentive. The food was good. I especially loved the calamari. It's a bit out of the way since neither of us live in Hoboken, but this is a great place for a casual night out. We'll be back."

"Went there during Hudson Restaurant Week for dinner with my 2 daughters. It was noisy downstairs but upstairs was fine. Easy to talk and hear, clubby atmosphere. Even with the specials the food was very good. The sauces for the Calamari and PEI Mussels very remarkable - no skimping on the specials. We all had different entrees and desserts and they were all winners. Wine list was decent and they had many varieties by the glass. Only down note for me was it was a little dark and hard to read the menu and wine list (I'm of the age when I now need reading glasses).
Taller candles on the table that spread a little light would be a definite plus. Would recommend and will go back."

"I've been to The Brass Rail twice now. Most recently, I went for Hudson Restaurant Week with a group of friends, and we all loved each course of our meals. Even the bread they brought out before the meal was amazing! The first time I went, I had a delicious lobster mac and cheese followed by the dessert sampler. It was summer, and it was nice to be able to sit outside (though the upstairs dining room is nice as well). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our food took a bit longer than expected (though it wasn't anything excessive and we didn't complain), and the manager came over and apologized, and they brought us each a little glass of champagne on the house. I will definitely be back (and I don't even live in Hoboken)!"

"This was our first time at The Brass Rail and we were blown away. We had a seat right next to the window upstairs, it was very romantic and spacious. All the food we were given was excellent...the chicken 65 was one of the best chicken dishes we have ever had. Overall we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. We would def recommend it to our family & friends."

"We love this place! the reason I give it a Very Good and not Outstanding is because it gets so packed that you feel a little "rushed" during your meal, specially at Brunch. I understand they want to turn as many tables as possible, but please don't rush your guests (to the hostess). Our server was FABULOUS and the food Outstanding."
