"Stopped going a few years ago because of bad service and gnats flying around. Those are the same reasons that I won't be going back again. It's too bad, because the location and the food are great."

"Great sushi which is the most important thing to me. Very attentive service although his knowledge of the fish was a tad off. Their cheesecake is now my favorite dessert. Kind of like a deconstructed cheesecake with light, creamy, lemony squares of cheesecake; super light rectangles of meringue; sitting on a bed of housemade granola; with spots of some type of sauce that I can't remember the name of. Super light, super tasty, not too sweet. Must have!"

"Great sushi and love that they have a Sunday all day happy hour. The service was a bit slow and the waiter forgot a couple of things. I felt like he should have comped them (like he brought my drink with the bill even though I had ordered it 15 min before). There were a couple of other food items we had to ask for several times."

"The food was overall excellent except that the peppered sushi roll we ordered was extremely peppered and the soup I ordered was a little salty. We received average service from the waiter, and this was clearly the result of him having to take care of too many tables. This needs improvement, although it was a Monday, so maybe that was the "excuse"."

"I have been to Soma several times and enjoyed the food termendously. However, within the last month they changed their menu and the choices for non-sushi items is limited. I choose the black bean ramen. It was par, but it was just a glorified, much more expensive ramen noodles that you can buy at the grocery store for $0.50. I will not be going back until they change their menu to the original."
