"Service on Father's Day was slower than most. My dad ordered a steak with a baked potato - they said they weren't offering baked potatoes. I was surprised at this since most men like to eat their steaks with baked potatoes. My chicken was a bit undercooked in one area on my salad."

"My boyfriend and I went to Town to celebrate our 13th anniversary. I made the reservation through Open Table, and mentioned that it was for our anniversary. The restaurant did not disappoint. We showed up about 30 minutes early, and they were able to seat us right away. They had special menus printed that said Happy Anniversary and included the date. Everyone made a point to wish us a happy anniversary which was very nice. :) Our food was all delicious, and boy did we order a lot of it! When we were finished eating, we were brought a complimentary bread pudding with a candle. I was thrilled because I love their bread pudding and was planning to order it anyway. Our day was definitely made very special by all of the staff. Highly recommend!"

"The restaurant was warm and energetic for San Carlos. The layout of the place was nice for the size and location. The ambience was to my liking for the day and time I was there. The dish that I had was delicious. The chicken and waffles dish was a nice surprise and so was the special bacon! I was there for brunch and my next visit will be for happy hour and dinner."

"My party and I had the most delicious lunch. Town's Power Lunch is a fantastic deal which includes a starter and a light portion of a main entree. Shaking Beef done Vietnamese style was fabulous, tender and tasty! The Crab sandwich was superb. Service from start to finish made our visit to Town very relaxing and so enjoyable."

"Great food with great recommendations from the staff. The slight mention of my wife's birthday prompted them to special print menus with birthday greeting to her. Totally accommodating with storing and serving 2 special quarts of my wife's favorite angel food cake frozen yogurt along with their fantastic complimentary warm bread pudding. A fortunate surprise, the two desserts paired perfectly together.
As usual for most American restaurants, there was way to much food for one sitting. Knowledgeable server provided perfect steps for next day takeaways."

"The food was fabulous. If they have the halibut on the menu, it's a must order. The bread pudding is the best I ever tasted (I wouldn't normally order it). We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it feel special. They exceeded our expectations on the delightful food and service. I will definately go again if I'm in the area."

"I have been to town many times and this time I was not impressed. We sat too close to the bar and there was a party behind us that was just really loud. I ordered the crab encrusted fillet mignon and it was just okay...for 45 dollars I expected more. My steak was over cooked and the sause poured over the crab was not enjoyable."

"Town has created a restaurant to enjoy 5star food and great service in a comfortable space.
Everything we had was worth repeating. Appetizers of tuna sushi, tomato bisque and potato leek soups, along with cheesy bread. Great tasting sea bass, prime rib and rib eye steak. So Delicious!
And Jennifer, our server, had each part of our meal in front of us as soon as the previous dish was cleared. We were able to converse and eat without interruption because of her service."

"My wife's friend knows Chef Jeremy and recommended the shaking beef and seabass. We were not disappointed and neither will you. Warm napa salad is also a must. If i was feeling better i would have taken to the bar as they had a good selection as well as Town's take on some classic cocktails. Love this place. Make sure to say hi to Chef Jeremy."

"I have been to this establishment numerous times and I have to say that I have always enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The food is amazing--full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Normally, I visit town for dinner, however I had brunch for the first time ever this past weekend. I ordered the town waffle. The presentation was beautiful and when it came out it was a beautiful golden brown and cooked evenly through. I came topped with some high quality whipped cream and some fresh fruits. The fruit and whipped cream was delicious along with the waffle and maple syrup that it was served with. The only thing that bothered me about this was how small the waffle was. For $9 the waffle should have been bigger."

"I booked a reservation for five people at 6:30 but one day prior I was asked to change the time to 5:30. The restaurant was happy to make the change and we did not wait at all upon arriving. Our waiter was terrific ... checking on us throughout our dinner but not intrusive in any way. And the food ... THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Town was recommended her big brother as he has been then for breakfast, brunch and great steaks on multiple occasions. "It is blatantly obvious they are trying to turn tables over as quick as possible. A lot of pressure to get our order in, and then I barely had time to take a sip of my beer before my entree arrived. "Used to like this place, but having recently been to other steak houses this meal fell way short. Hardly any calamari in the calamari (should call it tempura veggies), filet meat quality OK but my portion was probably just barely 8oz. peppercorn sauce too thick with too much starch. All of the sides were a disappointment, mushrooms (how can you mess up mushrooms?) way to soggy and just not good, cauliflower odd and tasteless, asparagus woody, fries only OK."

"I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but in the last 6 months I truly think it has gotten even better! My friend and I showed up early for our reservation and the hosts were very nice and polite. Food was even better than usual and the service was great! I love the steak tacos, and I wish their Nola's location would bring them back too. Overall great experience definitely my go to for a girls dinner, lively enough to watch but quiet enough to enjoy our conversation. Absolutely perfect!"

"It was our first time at Town, and we were impressed with the find. The location was ideal. The restaurant decor was lovely. The food was delicious. It was perfect for a Saturday brunch with the girls."

"The food is ok - nothing to write home about. We had the california roll starter - the rice was undercooked and the sauce on it was too much. Very expensive for the quality. The entrees were good, but again for the price I didn't think it worth it. The meats were delicious, it was the sides that were bland and lacked flavor. The bread pudding was good, but the sauce was too sweet."

"Seated at a table by the kitchen we asked the Hostess to be moved she was more than accommodating to our request. Our waitress was very sweet as well. The food was tad bit too salty. But overall a good experience."

"Town was recommended by a coworker. Met friend for dinner and was glad for a reservation as they were fairly busy. Atmosphere was great and our server was attentive and helpful with menu choices. Starters we ordered came quickly as well as our drinks. Steak was super delicious. Couldn't have asked for it to be cooked any better. Overall great experience and I will most certainly be coming back and referring other friends to Town."

"LOVE TOWN! We were having a late brunch and I forgot to order my favorite/the most popular dish - chicken chilaquiles - right away so they ran out. So I went for their second best which was their chicken and waffles (not the typical kind, it's cleaner and fancier and delicious). Bottomless mimosas are always great :) Service was very good, just a bit slow in the beginning."

"This place is okay for brunch if you have a gluten-intolerance. The brunch menu is very limited if you are gf and also a vegan. Service was terrible. It did take FOREVER to order our food (30 min to be exact)...waitress didn't ask if we wanted anything or drinks."
