"My husband and I went to El Cid for Valentines Day dinner. I was very excited about the flamenco dinner show. As soon as we arrived to El Cid I was quickly disapointed. The customer service was very poor. There was no one to greet us upon entering El Cid, the maitre d was not at her station so we kind of just stood around for awhile. The food was marginal I had the filet mignon it was rubbery my husband had shrimp it was over cooked and dry. El Cid was a new experience for us, now we experienced the restaurant and wont go back."

Review 2 for El Cid Restaurant
Overall Rating

"I took my wife here for Valentine's Day. They seated everyone late for the 8pm show, didn't finish setting our table, didn't serve our food in a timely manner, were completely understaffed for a holiday and then laid a bill on me that was astronomical in price. There was no indication as to how much the meal was going to cost. The website indicated a special menu, but proceeded to quote the regular price of $25 per person on Sundays. The charge was $70 per person (quite a difference!). When I complained about the price to the "manager," she acted as if I were trying to cheat the restaurant out of food and money. Bottom line: do not go here if it is a holiday."

Review 3 for El Cid Restaurant
Overall Rating

"This was the worst experience I've ever ever ever had at a restaurant, yet alone that it was our Valentines dinner.. First, they didn't seat us..They just pointed to a sheet and told us to go and figure it out.. Then, we were ignored and not served. The service was soooo poor. Some people were on there third course while we didn't even have forks!!! or our drinks!!!!! We didn't get our main course until the very end, half the place had already left. To top it off.. We get the bill and the price was anted up for a Valentines special which was not quoted nor advertised on there menu or there website!!!!! It was a disaster.. Plus we had to pay a gratuity fee for service that absolutely stunk!!!!!!!! Again, this was the worst dinner ever"

"El Cid felt like you were waling into a bar in Madrid Spain!!! I almost felt like Hemingway might join us at the table. The flamenco show was fantastic and the food, under the new Chef, was fantastic. I was really expecting to be let down by the food but everything we ordered, including the Paella, had tons of flavor and lots of Sea Food!! Overall a spectacular night of food and entertainment."

"El Cid was on one word: Amazing!!
Really enjoyed this evening out. Considering we had to cancel fridays reservation and move it to sunday, I and my husband Julio Medrano celebrated out 11th year anniversary and are gald that we made it.
I will definitely recommend this dinning experience to all my family and friends. Richie(owner)and Judah(ops manager) including Lauren(dining coordinator) we are fantastic and they even gave us drink on the house for our anniversary!!!
I can wait to go back real soon. Thanks El Cid for a night to remember!

"I had heard about this restaurant and finally decided to take my girlfriend. I was very impressed, the food was great (filet mignon), entertainment was exceptional and the overall experience was great. It is a wonderful place to take someone for a special occasion, a group dinner, or to experience something out of the ordinary - I will be going back in the near future."

"El Cid is an overall good resaurant. We went on a particularly busy night and took some time for them to serve us and remain attentive, requiring us to wave the Waitress down several times before getting water re-fills."
