"We went to Einstein's for dinner on a Monday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our waiter was friendly but a little slow to fill drinks, and regrettably had to report to us several times that the kitchen was out of items we had ordered. Otherwise, we had a good experience. The food we did get was delicious and filling (the portions were much larger than I expected!) and we were able to enjoy good conversation over a tasty meal. If you decide to get a dessert, the sorbet is incredible!"

"I have been to Einsteins several times over the last year of living in Atlanta. Until recently, the menu was average and the food was not impressive; HOWEVER the menu has changed and I would assume that a new chef is in place - the food is incredible. I have been three times in the last week if that indicates anything. So far, my favorite is their calamari (it's a MUST) and the pork tenderloin. I know food, and Einsteins is really putting their best foot forward now. The atmosphere can be casual or formal; modern and up beat. Great restaurant."

"The different selections were a pleasant change from the everyday menus you will find in most places. Somehow, all of the seasonings come together to create a flow that you probably could never imagine until you try it for yourself! I was very pleased with my selection.

Note to potential patrons: This restaurant is in Midtown. Please be mindful of you and your dining party's level of comfort as it relates to "the freedom of self expression." Other than that, ENJOY!!!"

"The food was great as has been our experience in the past. On this visit the service was slow. The bar ran out of champagne in the middle of the brunch schedule, this I thought was poor planning on the part of the establishment. I would still return because I really enjoy the food. However, continued problems with service and inventory planning would change my perception of Einstein's."

"Einstein's is always a good place to hang out and have a drink (especially outside), but this visit reminded me just how far the menu has run off the tracks in recent years. Instead of being Midtown's version of Murphy's (which it could easily be), it just takes itself too seriously. Bring back the dishes that made this a neighborhood powerhouse 10 years ago and ditch some of the overly-complicated stuff that is not very well executed."

"After looking at several restaurants in the midtown area, my wife and I decided to try out Einstein's. What a great place! "The service from the hostess to wait staff were all exceptionally professional and courteous. I had dined with a friend of mine, and although my food was very good, his steak was not prepared correctly, and lacked in taste. My friend was very disappointed in his entree'. All in all with drinks, appetizers, entree's and service it was a good experience. I would visit Einsteins again, but would not risk ordering the steak."

"I was given a dining recommendation to go to Einstein's while in Atlanta for a convention. After a long day at the convention, Einstein's was a perfect place to unwind. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was comfortable (hip too) and the service was great.

I accidentally received the wrong dinner (thanks to two martini's - and the fact that the dish I did receive was amazing - I almost didn't notice) and when I brought it to the attention of our server Jake - he immediately took care of everything.

I would highly recommend Einstein's to anyone who lives in Atlanta or is just visiting. If the weather was warmer - it would have been great to eat outside!"

"A friend and I met up at Einstein's for lunch just before the holiday. Because neither of us had cash on-hand to tip the valet worker, we had to drive up and down 12th and 13th streets looking for vacant slots.

I ordered the turkey sandwich with a side of sauteed spinach. The sourdough is dipped in egg and prepared sort of like French toast; other sandwich toppings included bacon and cheddar cheese, plus a side of raspberry dipping sauce.

My friend had the house salad and the chickpea soup. Neither of us were overwhelmed with tastebud delight.

Plus, our server never checked on us during the hour-long meal. We had to flag down two random waiters to take care of us.

I'm not dying to go back to Einstein's but enjoyed my lunch."

"POSITIVE: The service was great and I enjoyed the food. I had the pork tenderloin, and the green bean/potato/andouille sausage saute that it was served over was unique and delicious. I was part of a group of 6, each of whom ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed their food.

NEGATIVE: The lighting was far too dim and didn't fit the otherwise relatively upbeat atmosphere of the restaurant."

"Went for brunch on a Sat. Not crowded at 10 a.m. reservation time, but was filling up by 11 a.m. Fast, friendly service. salmon special was very well prepared (including a perfectly poached egg). I forgot to mention on reservation submitted that it was celebration of my husband's birthday. Even though we commented to this effect in front of the waiter, he didn't pick up on it. We had thought he would possibly have a little cake serving with candle to surprise us, but no response to indirect suggestion. Will return."
