"we did not know until we arrived the menu was limited for Mother's day. it would have been nice to have know that before hand. it was limited on selections. it was good but not up to the Table 16 usual standards. we will defintely go back because it is one of our favorite restaurants but a bit disappointed in the food this time."

"We arrived early and were seated promptly. Our waiter was top notch. I asked about the 4-course meal and was told the chef prepares something unique for each course. He asked about food allergies and warned us that the portion for this meal were small. As I wasn't hungery, I ordered this and am glad that I did! Each course, while small, was delicious. The chef clearly knows how to excite the senses as each dish proved very complex. Beautiful dish presentation and course timing. I wanted a smokey wine and the waiter recommended one that suited my craving exactly. Through the entire meal, the wait staff was attentive while not hovering.
The only issue was the table for two which was very long and not condusive to a romantic meal."

"We met another couple for dinner at Table 16. It had been several years since we had dined at this restaurant. We were blown away. My Chilean Sea Bass was the best I had ever experienced with the flavor of the fish coming through without being covered up with encrusted ..... The wait staff was knowledgeable and the pacing of the meal was perfect allowing the four of us to converse without being rushed."

"Whereever we are, at home or on the road, we eat out every meal, usually fine dining. I never take the time to write reviews, even though many of our experiences are certainly worth one.
Table 16 changes that. It was everything one would want from a dining experience. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by Pat, we knew we were "home." She was the perfect hostess.
Then, the menu, presented by Emma our awesome server. Each item, even if one we had seen before, was combined with unique twists that had our mouths watering.
As we enjoyed each morsel, we were very pleasantly surprised to be visited by Graham (the chef), who even took the time to suggest one of the best wines we've had in years.
Incredible experience!"

"We went for Prime Rib Night (a once a month special) and it was even better than the last! The salad was mouth-watering good: fresh greens with red onion, some grated cheese, and a rosemary - chili pepper vinaigrette. I think that's right. Whatever it was, it was delicious! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, sitting comfortably on creamy mashed potatoes, with young carrots and a delectable Bordelaise sauce. This was complemented by a Tilia Cabernet, if I remember correctly. When it came time for dessert, Hubby and I didn't want to share, so we each got our own pots de creme. A wonderful meal at a great price! We slept well that night..."

"I think you simply need more floor space to achieve real ambiance, reduce noise, etc.
When you confirm reservations via e-mail (and your system works impressively) perhaps you could provide some parking instruction, especially after the new area at the end of the street opens."

"Twice in one week? Why NOT? We'd been trying to get some friends to try Table 16 and they said they could go Friday! We had just been on Wednesday, but... SURE! The arugula and blueberries salad was a scrumptious starter (thanks, Chef!) We tried the pork this time, and OMG, the sweet potatoes were divine. Yes, divine. My husband never eats them, but he does now! We had enjoyed the bone-in filet and the hanger steak and lobster tail just 2 nights before, so we could heartily recommend them to our friends. They loved their entrees and the oysters. Then, pots de creme and coffee and... SMILES all around! We sat back, relaxed, watched the passersby (on First Friday, no less!) Matt was an EXCELLENT server, as usual. We'll be back again soon!"

"Arranged to meet with a new friend here(we met her previously at a Table 16 wine dinner.) Our waitress Emma was friendly and helpful with the menu. Even though she is relatively new, she was more than happy to help us with dietary restrictions and answer our questions about the new April menu. My husband had the bone-in filet and ate every bit of it! I had hanger steak and lobster tail - the buerre blanc was perfect! And we tried the pots de creme: oo-la-la! We had a great time. The place was buzzing with happy diners by the time we left."

"Coming from Belgium I always look for the nicest restaurants in town. This was definitely a good choice. And I got to sit at TABLE 16, the table they named the restaurant after. I chose for the tasting menu and had 5 different dishes. Each one of them with its own special flavour. The portions were ideal, not to big, not to small. The wines that came with the food were chosen very well. I now understand why this restaurant is highly ranked. I had a very nice waitress, Katie, who asked whether the chef had to take into account any allergies. All in all a very good experience and when I come back to Greensboro, I will definitely stop by again at this restaurant."

"Once again, table 16 was outstanding. We took a couple of friends from Los Angles that were visiting over the weekend. They were still talking about table 16 when they boarded for their flight back to LA last evening. The menu, service and Graham Heaton's (chef/owner)attention for detail were all there. Graham helped us select an outstanding vino to complement our entrees.

"I've been to Table 16 several times and it is one of our favorite "nice" restaurants in Greensboro. This time, we all decided to have the tasting menu with the wine pairings. 3 of the 4 diners will eat just about anything and they loved it. I, however, am a bit finicky and, although we discussed what I would and wouldn't enjoy, a few of the items were questionable. With that said, I ate everything that was put in front of me and actually enjoyed it. The wine was a bit too much for me though. All good choices but too much in quantity. Next time, I'll go without the wine pairings. If you're doing the tasting menu before a show, give yourself 3 full hours. We had a 5:30 reservation and barely made it to an 8:00 show just a few steps away."

"Another couple ~ SOLD on Table 16! It's not a difficult pitch. We finally got our friends to try it the other night and Graham, Matt, Susan, and the entire staff won them over with no trouble at all. What a delightful evening! Great food and wine recommendations. I heard the prime rib was awesome! I had the striped bass. They will no doubt go for the chef's tasting next time. Thank you, Table 16!"

"There's a reason why this is one of my favorite restaurants! This visit was to celebrate my birthday and as usual, I was NOT disappointed. The food was soooo good! It was my date's first time at the restaurant and he loved it also!"

"Absolutely amazing wine dinner! Josh and Graham were wonderful hosts! From the hors d'oeuvres and martinis to the creme brulee this is a dinner that will not be easily forgotten! Our favorite dish was the yellow fin and we loved being able to order our favorite wines at a great price. Our New Year's resolution is to endulge at Table 16 frequently in 2013!"
