"I had both specials of the day, scallops for my starter and then sea bass for my main, both were excellent and the portions were just about right. My only negative would be the price of he meal, it was in my opinion expensive however you couldn't fault the quality or the service. I would recommend this restaurant."

"Went to dinner with some work colleagues. Everyone got a unique salad and entree and really enjoyed the tastes. I've been here a number of times and it is always very good and fit for foodies young and old. My only complaint would be the prices. They are a tad bit high and high enough where you remember the price as much as the quality of food. Having said that, it is still one of my top favorites in Houston and I will be back."

"Been there dozens of times for business lunches and found everything to be pretty awesome. Took my wife there for her birthday on a recent Saturday evening and was disappointed. Sent back a mojito that was basically a mix of lime juice and sweet and sour mix, sent back a glass of wine that still had two dark, fresh spots of lipstick that both the bartender and the waiter missed (not sure how) and the pork chop was so thick and, frankly, dry that I could hardly cut through it - was having visions of this hunk of meat flinging off my plate as I was trying to hack through it. All in all, it was just a very disappointing experience. Or maybe I had unreasonably high expectations and made bad choices on drink and entree orders..."

"Everything came together beautifully for dinner before the play. All dishes were excellent - flavorful, imaginative and fresh. Service was perfect - never lagging, never pushing. Pefect timing to get us to our next stop on time but not rushed. Our waiter even mentioned the prices of all the specials, including the regular Market Price fish dishes. Perhaps everyone was in top form because owner Chef Charles Clark was in the house, cooking and overseeing."

"Often when a restaurant has been open for some years it begins to lose a step and become tired. Well, not this one. My wife and I popped in on a Sunday and the food and service were both excellent. Cooking a fish is a simple thing - but at its best it requires the fish be fresh and not smell of fish - it also requires that the fish not be over or under cooked. I had the snapper special and my wife had the colorado trout. They were both - perfect. This place can be very busy - especailly on weekends. I tend to be spontaneous (meaning disorganized) but this is a place it is worth reserving several days in advance."

"I enjoyed my meal very much. The Red Snapper with the crabmeat was delicious. My husband was not as fond of his Chilean Sea Bass. He didn't think it had much flavor. Our friend loved his Ahi and his appetizer the fried calemari. Now about our waiter... I felt he was too pushy!! I initially wanted to get my own mushroom risotto appetizer and 2 other people were planning to order their own as well. He talked us into ordering 1 double portion split 3 ways. All day I was anticipating that mushroom risotto in the truffle oil and our waiter talked us into splitting it between 3 people. Secondly, he kept pushing his "favorites" on us. It became a bit tiresome. And I don't think he should be touching customers in a gesture of familiarity."

"I am in Houston once a month with a group of colleagues and we always vote to go to Ibiza. The food, wine and service never disappoint. This time there were only 2 of us so we enjoyed very attentive personal service and great wine advice. Try the O'Brien Seduction, a great value and not available outside the Napa Winery. The Whole Market Fish stuffed with crab (this time a Branzini) was, as always, outstanding. The consistently high-quality experience at Ibiza makes it a welcome go-to restaurant. It's also nice to get out of that downtown core to a place that the locals obviously know and enjoy."

"Food is very good. No bad wine on the list. To be fair, we are fairly high maintenance customers, we always order multiple courses, and at least one bottle of wine. But, service recently has been suffering a bit. Ordered an appetizer which was forgotten, when our entrees arrived we had to request a steak knife which took several minutes. We asked about the appetizer, which was then promptly delivered, and comp'd, but by the time we could eat it, it had gotten cold. Desserts were very good, the pound cake excellent, and the overall experience was good, but when you spend nearly $300 on dinner and wine for two, you expect more. 2nd time in a row Ibiza has dropped the ball. Free cold app was good, but rather pay for, and receive great service."

"As always, wonderful food, especially the chef's specials. Lulu's kale salad is my favorite salad anywhere. Desert was perfect for sharing. Great service. This is our favorite restaurant in Houston."

"I'm not sure I would go back to Ibiza despite the exceptional wine list. The wine list is amazing and I could go there every night for a different, amazing wine at a great price. The problem with this restaurant is (1) I'm not sure how interested the servers are in being there, and (2) the food is average at best. I don't want to belabor these points, but a few examples.
-We ordered the charcuterie. The server says, "You mean the cheese plate?" I said, "OK." When it was brought out we asked the runner - who dropped it and tried to run - if she could explain what each item was. She said there are three meats, then upon inspection she said, it looks like you didn't get the soppressetta, explained...out of space, go for wine not food/servic"

"Food was excellent as always but we had to ask for our server. He apparently got confused. Normally I would not have minded but we had to be somewhere so it made our meal a bit rushed.

"Took great friends here for birthday on recent Sat night. Was not disappointed. Ibiza is one of the rare places that can stay in top form year after year. The keys seems to be attentive management and a great chef. They also manage to keep menu fresh while maintaining certain solid dishes and a coherent theme. Really good hosts and servers too."

"Excellent, as always. I remain a huge fan. Whoever decided to put the tuna and seaweed entree back on the menu literally answered a prayer. Well, not literally, but you get my point. Maybe me bugging my waiter about it every single frickin' time I went there over the past several years finally worked. Love the pequillo pepper/braised beef appetizer too. We went before a show at The Alley, and it works great for that. Conspicuously elderly crowd earlier in the evening. Curious. Still love the invariably smoking hot hostess concept. Whatever you do, don't stop doing that, or take the tuna/seaweed entree off the menu again."

"The food and service is exceptional. We often go to Ibiza prior to going to a show downtown and we have always found the servers to be very accommodating. My wife and I shared the "Whole Fish stuffed with crab". Not only was the fish excellent, simple yet filled with flavor, the mixed vegatables and the whipped cauliflower were very good (and I don't even like cauliflower typically). I highly recommend this restaurant as it is always enjoyable...good food....good wine and a great setting."

"The restaurantr was extremely busy early, with many people planning to attend the evening event at Toyota Center. the food was good and the service was as well. Casandra was our server, and started out a bit slow, but she caught on, and was very good delivering our food, and staying up on keeping our wine glasses full, and being attentive knowing we were going to the show."
