"Price versus quality of food was not in balance. Adults were $30, which did not include beverage. The quality of the food was reminiscent of Denny's or maybe Perkins. Prepared dishes on buffet line were bland. Salad, shrimp, and other cold items were soggy. The pastries seemed right off the shelf of the local supermarket. The dessert table was very disappointing, in edible crust on apple crisp, Jello brand key lime pie, etc. I will say the guy on the omelet station had it going on.
Will not be back for brunch."

"This was our first experience at the Bloomington Chop House. Wonderful menu. Kind of crazy to comment about this but the dinner salads were big enough to be an entree salad all to itself. This made us rather full and not leave enough room for our entree. Please, please, please revisit your dessert options specifically the Carrot cake. It tasted as if it was stale. It really left a bad taste in our mouths. We will be back again but will more than likely share the salad and skip the dessert."

"I would go to the Chop House for lunch or dinner again but not for their brunch. My dining partner enjoyed the seafood/fish selection but since I don't care for either, the selection of food was rather limited. The prime rib was crusted with rosemary which I didn't like. The desert presentation was subpar to what I expect from an upper end restaurant. Serving ready made pie in the original aluminum pie tin was tacky. The champagne was over priced and of poor quality."

"I thought the Brunch was overpriced for what it was. In addition to the $30, we had to pay for coffee (should have been included) and the Bloody Mary and Mimosa were $9 each! Further, there was no Eggs Benedict and they did not even have anything like pancakes, french toast or waffles. Will not return!"

"I have eaten lunch at the Chop House multiple times, this was the first time I had dinner there. Candidly I was surprised by the cost of the entrees, as they were much higher then I expected. Although the food was ok, it was not a good value. This is obviously a place for business folks on an expense account. Although I would go back again for lunch, I will not return for dinner."

"My husband and I both asked for our filet mignon's to be medium rare, but they came out more medium, and dry. I probably should have said something to the server, but I did not. I probably won't go back. Chez Daniel in the Bloomington Embassy suites still makes the best filet mignon in the Twin Cities - and their sides are not ala carte!"

"Though the BCH still has one of the best filet's in the area, the quality and service is suffering, and the almost empty dining room (at 7:30 on a Friday night) is indicative. Our wedge salads were good. Both filets were perfect. Béarnaise was as runny as a cup of water. The waitress said she'd get another cup and returned to the table to tell me that 'today's batch of bearneaise is really runny so a second dish would be the same (I guess they couldn't make more). After that she was scared to return to the table~ so we didn't get refills, etc. Dessert was average as was the lobster mac. I was planning to buy a $150 gift card for a friend~ but the decline in quality and service sent me to Ruth's Chris. Hope they come out of the slump soon."

"Had lunch here with 12 family members after a funeral. We were seated in the private dining area and well taken care of by our server. Her suggestions were on the money. I especially enjoyed the "hot dish" of chicken and wild rice. Our table also dined on lobster Mac and cheese, spinach dip, walleye sandwich and loaded potato chips among a few other entrees. We will dine here again on future trips to the area."

"The manaagement and staff at the Chop House provided a wonderful luncheon experience for me and a friend of mine recently. They made significant efforts to honor my request, as I had an elderly friend with me, to be in a quieter area, and closer to the door (for ease of her walking). I really appreciated this attention to detail, and the level of customer service. One doesn't find great service that often these days, it seems. Thanks to the Chop House for a great, and memorable experience."
