"Went to BLT for Mothers Day after having gone to their 57th Street location in NYC many times. The big windows and open atmosphere were great, much better than NYC. Service is always top notch and the filet mignon was magnificent. The only gripe was there is no kids menu-the kids menu for the day was simply adult sized portions called "kids"-a 10oz burger or a half a chicken. Hmm, seemed a bit much for my young sons. Really, it's not a place for kids. Leave the little ones home and enjoy a great meal."

"For a steak house, the chief seemed not to be able to recognize when enough salt is enough. The special skirt steak was far too salty. The rest of the meal was fine, but spoilt by the steak. Like the fact that the room was not not your typical dark steak house lighting. To the credit of the restaurant, the steak charge was removed from the bill."

"The Food and waiter service are always great at BLT. When we are in the mood for steak BLT is where we go!
However the Hostesses obviously didn't like their job and since they are easy to spot from a lot of tables I suggest Management should talk to them about their attitudes. I saw them making faces and mock-banging the phone i.e. after hanging up the phone. I have no idea if the hostess can see a special request I had made about a "nice table by the window" but she took us to the first (undesireable) table and we had to ask for the table by the window which was also available. She kind of made a face and led us to that table. Other than that we were happy to have dinner there."

"I have been to BLT previously and have always had a good dining experience. I went for an early dinner with a few business associates and while the erperience was good it was a step down from prior experiences. The popovers as usual were very good, but was a bit disappointed in the Rib Eye and it appears that they downsized the side dishes. I seem to recall the sides being for 2-3 people but this time they were barely enough for one. The Rib Eye was lacking a bit and had a larger than usual ring of fat around the edge.Still a good choice but for the price would expect a bit more."

"Although the food is excellent, the service is quality is that of a chain restaraunt. We were finished with appetizer, entrée, and coffee within a hour. Wait service did not leave time for us to enjoy some of our wine or breath in between courses. They also didn't ask if we were enjoying our meal. Great if your a business man in a rush, ,not so great out on a Saturday night with your husband."

"We really enjoyed our meal. Very attentive service except for our waiter who didn't give us a wine/cocktail menu and seemed to never be in our sight when we needed him. A little pricey ($17 for a Cosmopolitan) but everything was delicious. Recommend the roasted beets appetizer and the warm chocolate tart. Will go back to try more things."

"My wife and I had a great time dining here for a belated Valentines Day dinner. The NY strip steak, which I had, and the short ribs, which my wife had were very good. However, she felt the short ribs had too much fat on them. The sides, while small were also good. I enjoyed perfectly prepared sea diver scallops as an appetizer, while my wife dined on a large salad. The desserts were wonderful as well. Last but not least, the service was impeccable. The staff operates like a well tuned machine, almost like an assembly line of service. We would definitely go back."

"Love the food! Service was off the night we went. Extremely slow. And they often forgot to ask us about drinks, until we asked. They forgot items we had ordered, liked mashed potatoes, until we asked. Etc. But when we saw the manager busing tables, we knew something was wrong. probably short handed. But even so its hard to sit 21/2 hours for a meal thats so costly when you're with your teenagers."

"I was extremely surprised with the quality of meats served here. My entire party odered filet mignon and none of the steaks resembled the others. Some meats were shpaed like pentagons, some looked like oddly shaped blobs and did not have the round and uniforn appearance I am accustomed to. The meats were all cooked the same. Some were burnt on the outside, some were not. I do not like butter on a steak and do not feel that a good steak should require. It's like a fine diamond. You would never cover a beautiful diaond with a lot of metals or prongs. you would want to show off it's natural beauty. A diamond that has a lot of metal around it or more than 4 prongs is a less than ideal stone and the metal is supposed to cover flaws."

"When my wife and I first went to BLT, about 4 years it was one of our favorite steak restaurant in Westchester. The last two times have gotten gone bad. This past Saturday night we took our two daughters for dinner with us. My wife and I order the Porterhouse steak, for two medium done. It had to be one of the driest steak ever we have had. For 94 dollars I think they should do better. A few other things a Restaurant that has those prices should have fresh French fries not frozen, and the mashed potatoes should not be powder potatoes. Safe your money and eat somewhere different."
