"When you're paying $45 for a steak you expect perfection. My filet mignon was ordered medium rare and arrived medium. Being with a client I didn't want to send it back.

The rest of the food was good but, quite frankly, unremarkable. It's hard to see the value proposition that Morton's offers at this price point.

The name still draws them in but I wonder if Morton's is getting a little tired."

"The entire experience was great... Our waiter Ryan was wounderful he was very knowledgeable and energetic... The preview of the food was a real plus so we know what type of protions we were getting into.. George the general manager was a real delight he took pictures of our evening and we were celebrating our anniversary and our menus were personalized which made the evening that more special.. The setting was wounderful the music was loud enough to hear but not drown out your conversation and the lighting was perfect... When family or friends want great dinner experience we would send them to Mortons in Naperville..Great food great service great people..."

"The restaurant in Naperville is just one big room with no ambiance particularly. The food is excellent, especially the shrimp appetizer, but we felt the alacarte sides should be included, and smaller. The service was just okay, long stretches between seeing our server but good on others helping clear the tables. We also have dined here twice and both times we felt like we could not take our time, but were being rushed through our meal to accomodate other reservations."

"Definitely for people with lots of money. I was not impressed by Morton's. Food was just average and extremely over-priced. If you want to be seen, this is the place for you. If you want good food at a fair price, try someplace else. Sure, I probably am not the person Morton's caters to, but I eat out a lot and the mediocrity of the food was what stood out to me. To pay al carte for a really average salad, steak and sides it not what I was looking for. The desserts were to die for. Our server was awesome. She had to be to sell the run of the mill tastes. I like Excellent food. I'd rather go to Wildfire or, God forbid, Outback for a steak. I'm sure that comment will kill the food snobs. TASTE is what is important in food, not the place."

"We really wanted to go to a special place to enjoy Valentine's dinner and did not think of any other place better than Morton's. We were able to make reservations unlike other well known places and they seated us promptly. From the servers to management, everyone greated us and wanted to make sure throughout our entire dining experience that we were satisfied. We were even given a beautiful picture they took of us and the staff signed and dated it. The food from appetizer to dessert was INCREDIBLE and mouthwatering! The ambiance of the evening was everything we had wanted. I look forward to the next time we plan our next dining experience with Morton's!"

"Just about the best dining experience I think I've ever had. Service was impeccable. Food was outstanding. On a busy Saturday night Morton's was bustling but that did not hinder the entire staff from being courteous, friendly, and attentive. Salmon, shrimp, ribeye steak, Ceasar salad, baked potato, HOT FUDGE CAKE for dessert, all were absolutely perfectly cooked and presented in ample portions. Even the broccoli was delicious! Not a place we could afford to visit often but worth every penny for a special occasion. Oh and a woman came by taking photos and later presented us with a complimentary photo signed by the staff. Above and beyond the norm of any lesser establishment. Hooray for Morton's!"

"I have been a Morton's patron for many years in the Pittsburgh area. Having business in the Chicago area, I dined at Morton's Thursday evening for a special occasion. Everything was up to the par I expected and then some. Our waitress, Sharon, was excellent, food the best (as normal and expected) - and all the servers were outstanding (as expected as well). I feel I can go anywhere in the country and not be disappointed by chosing Morton's for a business dinner, special occasion, or when ever the opportunity comes up."

"We visited the Naperville location on Super Bowl Sunday, so there was not many people dining, which meant a relative quiet and intimate dining experience. The staff was very friendly, and made every attempt to make our night notable. The food was, for the most part, very good. I had the steak and scallops. The steak was ample, flavorable and cooked perfectly. The scallops left a lot to be desired. They were wrapped in bacon and were pretty much ordinary...big disappointment. The wife had steak with shrimp alexander. and they were both excellent. The side dishes were very fresh and delicious and the hot chocolate cake for dessert was great. Overall it was a very good meal but we have had food just as good elsewhere, for less money."

"I felt we were being rushed. We were asked to place our order immediately after we were served our wine. We were served the main course before I finished my salad. That is very unusual for a restaurant of that stature. It could have been because there was a big party in a separate room, but that shouldn't have made a difference. There were only one or two other tables occupied in the main room when we were there. The maitre d' mentioned that that particular night was the slowest they had in recent memory.

The food was outstanding; the portions were excellent. The service was competent and friendly, just too quick.

We would definitely return."

"Never been to Morton's and it was a special occasion. Expected the prices but took advantage of the Three Course Menu Special with salad, seafood appetizer, steak or filet, potato to share, vegetable to share and dessert..$99 with filet or $116 for steak. Steak was outstanding and perfectly cooked. Like butter. Morton's salad good and Creme Brulee excellent. We were about 2/3 through our salads when the entree arrived. Even the waiter acknowledged it was way too fast. Mine was incorrect with a filet so he returned both to the kitchen. But he was back just minutes later with the correct steak. Scallops and Shrimp Alexander would have been superb had it been hot. Ditto the baked potato and grilled asparagus. Expected more from Morton's!"

"We were very disappointed. Our appetizer took 20 minutes to reach our table. We were the fifth couple seated so it was not because they were busy. My steak was VERY SMALL compared to the example I was shown. It was the smallest porterhouse I have ever had at a restaurant. It was not the tender flavorful 'prime' steak I had hoped for. The garlic green bean side dish was absolutely awful. We simply could not eat it. The crab legs were not split completely and as such were difficult to eat. The NOISE was ridiculous. It wasn't energetic, it was shout-across-the-table LOUD at 5 pm. At $240 this was the most expensive dinner my wife and I have ever had, but it was FAR from the best. We wont go back and would not recommend this restaurant at all."

"We went to Morton's for our 42nd anniversary. The hostess was very pleasnt and greeted us and took our coats. We waited for the maitre d who seemed friendly and seated us promptly, yet he never really made eye contact with us. And not only that, he seemed to treat other tables and groups better, even to the point of taking their pictures and bringing the developed picture back to them. He did say he's be back to us, but he never did. Our waiter was initially friendly until we ordered, and then became very distant, and in fact left us for a larger group. After that we were waited on by several different people. The fact that they printed our name on the menu was a nice touch, but the unfriendly service turned us off."

"Although pricey, the meal was escellent and the service was outstanding. Everything was freshly made and the steak was so tender it almost melted in your mouth. My husband ordered smoked salmon as an appetizer and we watched as it was hand cut very thin and served with minced onion and horseradish. I had the petite filet mignon and added 3 colossal shrimp. They were divine. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained that any request would be honored. The ambience was clubby and comfortable and could be romantic in the booths along the back wall.

Overall, a wonderful experience."

"Morton's is a great steak place but be prepared to spend a lot. The food is excellent but my feeling is that there are many excellent restaurants that are less costly. It was a very good experience and I'm glad I went. That being said, I would likely not do it again."

"As usual, I was impressed with the food and Ambiance. The service was good, but not great. One glitch was that they messed up two of the five orders. Unusual for Morton's. But they did remedy it as quickly as they could. I had to ask a couple of times for a glass of wine. Not the usual excellent service I have come to expect."
