"We are only in Atlanta for several months (medical reason for our son) and it was the first time we dined at Bluefin, but definitely not our last! It was outstanding! The waitress was wonderful, very patient with us, friendly, great sense of humor. We loved talking with her about her native Hong Kong. She was very knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Our son absolutely loved it and he's been to many sushi places. I chose a scallop and shrimp dish that was one of the best I've ever had. My husband had a tuna dish that he loved. Our son sampled both our meals and loved them too. We'll definitely dine there again before we return to our home on the Virginia coast!"

"Most sushi restaurants might offer a cucumber roll but bluefin had a lot of options for vegetarians. We each had a house salad (huge and delicious), miso soup, an avocado roll, mushroom nigiri, and tofu nigiri. I loved it all!"

"This is a great place to go whether you are a sushi lover or not. Lots of options for those who like the idea of sushi but not raw fish. Our appetizers were disappointing (pan-fried shrimp dumplings and tempura shrimp) but Nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth delicisousness and the Blue Fin Slammer was fun and tasty. Service was pleasant but a bit lacking considering it was early on a Saturday night and only a few tables were filled."

"While the sushi is always very fresh and the presentation is appealing, the price is on the steep side, even for a Buckhead/Midtown spot that blurs the lines between casual/hip/trendy. It lacks a little something that I can't put my finger on; maybe the fact that you won't get spoiled here, but you'll pay as if you did."

"Romantic, perfect seating, and exceptional food. My girlfriend and I found it to be amazing. Many great dishes to try and we highly recommend for anyone that loves Asian dishes cooked to perfection. We will be returning and glad Open Table had it listed. Pricing was of good value as well."

"There was a group of really loud females sitting behind myself and my girlfriend. The restaurant is not the type of place you come to be loud. It is more of a mature, classy establishment. If you cant be either of the two you should probably stick to the drive-thru. Don't ruin everyone elses night."

"My husband I went to BlueFin for Valentine's Day 2013. I made the reservation online and it was a easy process. We were immediately seated upon our arrival to Blue Fin and our waitress came over promptly. Our appetizer was the shrimp tempura which we enjoyed very much. We both had the Hawaiian steak entree which was seasoned, juicy and absolutely delicious. That was the first time I ate and enjoyed steak without A-1 sauce..lol. The candles at each table were dynamic, and the blue lights drapped from the windows added a nice mood to the restaurant. Definitely a place for dating couples or married folks:)"

"Went to Bluefin for Valentine's (not a good idea to go out on 'rookie night' in the first place). Service was slow and sushi was very average in quality (freshness, taste) with not much creativity in the menu.
Maybe OK if you live in the nearby area but there are much better options in town for true sushi fans.
To the restaurant's credit, it is very inexpensive."

"My fiance and I visited the restaurant the night before and decided to come back the next night. The service was terrible! We waited at the front door for 10 minutes to be seated and no one waited on us. I finally decided to stop one of the servers and asked was anyone working the door and she told me no not really. I then told her that I had reservations and she decided to go ahead and seat us. After sitting at our table for 15 minutes, I stopped another server and asked could we get a server and he did help us. We really love the restaurant but for our second visit the service was extremely terrible."

"The food was excellent but the service was a bit slow. Although there were numerous open tables our server seemed rushed. I read rave reviews about the building and its interior finish so I was somewhat surprised at what felt to me to be a mix of an old style café and a modern lounge. Maybe my expectations set poorly. In the end it was a good night with good food."
