Mains: my spaghetti bolognase with meatballs was very good; wive's tagliatelle was waaaay too rich but didnt taste like much at the same time

Value: would describe it as decent value"

"This was my third time at this restaurant. The deal coupon on TravelZoo was a great savings that is why I keep going back. But I must mention that each time I go back the final bill is different even though I am buying the same things each time.
When I called in to reserve, I tried to get noon for that day and she said they were booked but didn't give me another time close to that time that they had open, had to get that online reservation.
Service was slow but was compensated with free coffee and tea. Which was nice but the amount of time it took the beverages comp just really make up for the time lost. But at least she acknowledged the problem.

"This Italian-themed restaurant is located in a little strip mall across the Safeway in Garrison Woods. The decor has some nice blue and dark wood with hardwood floors, so the noise levels can go up if the restaurant is full. We shared some bruschetta for an appetizer, and I had an Italian sausage & chicken penne & my sister had a seafood linguini. We also had a couple of glasses of nice Spanish white wine, and also shared a lemon shortbread dessert. Our server was friendly, although the service was at times slow, but we ended up having a relaxed pace for lunch. The food was amazing - we loved the bruschetta!"

"Our first time at San Remo and we went for Sunday Pasta night. The restaurant is small, not as spread out as we're used to, it was busy but not full. The pasta portions are not huge, but still a decent size and very good. The chicken parm was one of the best I have ever had. Service was good and attentive 4 staff serving and we were in and out under an hour. Will be back for sure."

"Scallops were good but the rest of the meal was uninspiring. People are nice, even the gal who poured balsamic/oil on my pant leg when removing a plate. At least she offered me soda to clean it up. However, there is really nothing special about this place, it's inconsistency is frustrating and the menu and decor are dull. This place needs a restaurant make-over."

"This place has charm. Only one server who waited tables(drinks and food), checked in new diners, and collected the bill. Explains why no one answered the phone when I tried to make a reservation. Had to make the reservation on-line since no one answered the phone for that day, tedious and would not do that if I wanted to make a last minute reservation from my Blackberry."

"We were there for my sister's birthday and I mentioned that in my Open Table reservation and was pleased when as soon as we arrived, they asked who was having the birthday. The pace was relaxed, the food very delicious, with the exception of the seafood rissoto which was too salty to enjoy. Try the chicken involiti (sp?), port soaked figs and chocolate lava cake."

"Our food was not hot when it came out but they had problems with one side of the oven that night.The waitress looked after us well which made up for the wait for the second attempt for hot food.
We love going to San Remo and do so on a regular bases. The food is and service is always great!!!
I have celiac and I'm very impressed by the thoughtfulness of San Remo. The sample plate that comes out with the bread is an excellent idea as I do not feel left out. Also your menu is very celiac friendly.
Keep up the good work. We will be back very soon!!"

"The food was great, very good portions for the price. The drinks are rediculous priced. A few drinks was the same as ordering 2 meals. If you go you will enjoy the food excellent but stay away the brunett with the long pony tail, the service was terrible from her, its like she was doing me a favor everytime I asked her for something or anything about the menu!"
