STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while smoky mirrors allow patrons to catch a glimpse of the surroundings while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Los Angeles is located in the heart of West Hollywood’s Restaurant Row. Executive Chef David Gussin mans the kitchen of the sexy celebrity hotspot. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a female-friendly mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.
"This was one of the best steaks I have ever had and the four of us at the table all agreed. The sides (we had string beans and broccolini) were also wonderful. We would highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and professional. The only thing we didn't like was the noise level. It was a Saturday night, which might make a difference, but as the meal went on it became almost impossible to talk. Other than that, we would highly recommend this restaurant."

"I took my wife to STK for her 30th birthday and we absolutely loved everything about the place. A little disappointed that we did not have a celebrity sighting but....maybe next time. Steak was very tender and flavorful and the green beans were fantastic! Definitely a place you have to go to at least once in your life!!"

"I had a great night with my guests. The first round of drinks was amazing. The second round not so amazing. I was disappointed that we got seated near the bar (away from the main dining room). The people near the bar were undressed with flip flops. For the kind of money we paid, we expect to be seated in the main dining room. We had a nice waiter and we might go back because of his service.
Otherwise, we probably won't be going back."

"First time dining at this STK location, walked away very disappointed. Server was a no-show for most of the meal, except ordering and picking up the check. 2 of our steaks were so over cooked. You would think someone wouldve noticed 75% of the steak on our plates when they picked them up."

"STK is one of my fave restaurants. Im from NY & dined at the 2 there--luv it!,Miami, Atlanta, & fianlly LA on vacation. Very similar vibe as STK Meatpacking in NY. Great crowd, music, very lively. We arrived 5 mins before our reserved time & had to wait about 45 mins to be seated. I was slightly disappointed that we were seated in the front section near the bar as this is usually where walk-ins sit, despite I had reservations. The distance at the two-seated table was so far that I felt distant & could not have a conversation w/ my bf. My waiter mustve had a bad night as he did not say his name, welcome us, or mention any specials. Despite this, the food was not bad. I was just expecting a more fun, enjoyable experience."

"The overall experience was good although they were a 1/2 late in seating us reservations we at 8:45 we didn't get seated until 9:15 and they didn't not look for us in the bar as they said they would."

"I have been here many times. I have always been happy with the service & the food! On this visit, my husband and I arrived a bit early, so we opted to have a drink at the bar. The drinks were amazing, as always. After being seated, our waiter greeted us promptly. My husband and I had a wonderful meal and always look forward to coming back. I ordered the 10oz NY strip & my husband ordered the filet. The STK Bold is our favorite along with the mashed potatos and mac & cheese (which is THE BEST!!!) Im hoping I can visit again, soon, with my girlfriends for happy hour :o)"

"I think I would've been more impressed with the food had I not gone to Mastro's the week before. The arugula salad was delicate and light. The tartare was okay... Missing some acid or citrus that was definitely needed. As for the sides, it wasn't anything impressive. The Mac and cheese, broccoliini, and corn pudding were mediocre. The truffle fries were delicious though. As for steak it was cooked well... But nothing extraordinary. also this STK doesn't serve the popular mushroom pot pie that you can find in Vegas and Atlanta.
I was sorely disappointed in the service. It took much too long to get things like more bread (10-15 mins), water (10mins), ketchup (10-15 mins, asked 3 times). And we had a relatively late reservation after 9:00 p"

"The noise was overwhelming. Even nearly empty the music was so loud as to prevent me the opportunity to pay attention to any other factor. Your grading for noise does not do justice to the persistent level of noise feom the music alone feom which there was no escape I asked aeveral times if i could be moved elsewhere and was told the volume was the same in all space. I believe they are trying to create a vibe.its not my vibe. I couldnt hear the wait staff or my date I would never return there again. I asked several times if the volume could be turned down and nothing was done"

"A friend recommended this restaurant to us for my husband's birthday and we cuold not have been happier. The service was outstanding! Both our server and the manager were extremely pleasant and helpful, and they made our evening there special. The food was incredible - my husband was very pleased with the ribeye he ordered and we loved the donuts we ordered for dessert! Amazing place!"

"Although the steak I ordered was not as tender (Morton's was better), it was very flavorful and the sides we had were so good (with special mention to the mushrooms and corn) that it pretty much compensated for the tenderness of the steak. The seafood appetizer and tuna tartare were yummy too. Their bread pudding was one of the best I've ever tasted. We were not visited by our waitress enough but overall, we all had an excellent dining experience."

"We had a pleasant experience during Dine L.A.. Loved all the selections we chose, everything was cooked well & really delicious from the complimentary bread to the appetizer to dessert. My seared scallop dish was cooked to perfection as well as my filet with both sides. My chocolate chip cookie a la mode was divine to end the meal. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant which was upbeat & had a cool vibe due to the DJ spinning that Friday night. Our server (Kelly) was really attentive & on point with serving each of our dishes being that it was a very busy night. She was very personable & fun. In my opinion, STK is good for special occasions, but I would return just to hang at the lounge to have fun & listen to awesome tunes."

"Restaurants like STK have a limited shelf-life, and this place represents a restaurant scene that existed in 2006, not today. They have a a great space and location, but need to change to survive. It is clearly struggling to stay relevant."

"The food was amazing! I had the hearts of romaine salad, kinda like a caesar salad with no dressing, very plain and simple, but good. For appetizer I had the diver scallops which was AMAZING!!!!! The filet mignon melted in my mouth! It was soooo unbelievably great!!!! I was going to give a 4 star instead of 5 just because I left very disappointed with the dessert! I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, which I normally LOVE, but their cookie was too hard, not warm, it felt old. And I didn't like that. But everything else was so great that I felt like they deserved a 5 start."

"Had a reservation, yet took 15 minutes to be seated-only to be seated in the back between two other tables. While trying to slide through the tables, my rear end slid across the table of the couple sitting so close to me. Apologizing for your backside almost knocking over someone's wine is a very humbling experience. If that wasn't horrific enough, I could hear the conversations of the two tables on both sides of me better than my date sitting across from me.
Food was great as always for me, but my date's steak wasn't as great as I had hyped it up to be when I recommended the place."

"Came here for dinner to celebrate & ordered the filet mignon. MISTAKE. I requested m.rare as I always do at CUT, Mastros, Nick & Stef's.. you get the picture. The first came w/ a SLIGHT to barely there pink center, it was over cooked and the waitress noticed so she took it back. Second came out a few minutes later and was beautiful on the outside yet when I cut into the steak, it was so raw my knife was having a hard time tearing through the meat. At this point, beyond the point of hunger, I decided to just give up before sending it back for a THIRD time and avoid looking like world's most difficult guest. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars for food is because my friends m.rare came out perfect, at least they got that right."

"We had a 45-minute wait with 7:30 pm reservations on a Thursday evening. The hostesses seemed very interested in the fact that the reservations were running so far behind. The food, service, and pricing once seated was average. My favorite thing was the corn mash."

"Waited over an hour to be seated, had reservations for 8:45pm and did not get seated until close to 10pm . People at front were bad and did not seem to know what they were doing.. Sent us to bar and I think they forgot about us.. When we finally were seated asked to speak to a manager and the manager never showed..food was good and wait staff were good, but front desk put damper on. Whole evening.. We have eaten here before and it was great, wi probably never go back.."

"Was there for DineLA. My date had the three-course menu ($45) while I opted to do a la carte. Started with scallops and rice krispy shrimp. We both went with steak as main our course (Bone-in Rib Eye and Filet) which were grilled to perfection. Decor is a very chic-modern LA feel (oscillating bull horns on the wall were a nice touch) while ambiance can be interpreted as retro-90s lounge or several decibels too loud, depending on how much you enjoyed Ben Folds Five's first go-around. Service was attentive. Bread is GOOD. Would recommend (maybe not to grandma)."

"While the food was excellent, my excitement to try the food was dampened by the long wait we had to endure even arriving 15 minutes before our reservations. We waited a total of 1 hour. While that is typical for most places but not when you have reservations!! I do believe they forgot about us.
Also, since we were here for DineLA's Restaurant Week, we had the three course meal. The dessert took double the time. Even the waiter was surprised we didn't get them yet. Once again, forgotten.
So while the food was spectacular, the service from the hostesses killed it."
