"My biggest issue with H2O is Pricing vs. Quality.Their food and service do not warrant the Top Restaurant Manhattan prices that they charge. Their wait staff is pleasant, but has the serving professionalism of a family restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. I think they either need to either lower their prices, or get a new chef and professionalize their wait staff. As it stand now, this to me is an over-priced family restaurant, not a culinary experience."

"My family and I went to H2O for Mothers Day. As always, everything was superb. From the appetizers to the desserts...delicious!
The only complaint I have concerns the valet parking. I am not a big fan. I would like to have the option of parking my car if I chose to. Don't appreciate a teenager in my car."

"Our server Sam was only on staff for 2 days and she did a fantastic job. She made us feel so special, and the food was wonderful, best sword fish i've ever had. What more can you ask for, wonderful food and wonderful service. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Went here recently for my anniversary. The food was pretty good, especially the Japanese Cowboy roll. The ambiance and service wasn't so great, though. We were seated next to the kitchen and got bumped several times as dishes were being brought out of the kitchen. Some other snags - We ordered sparkling water and got this icky flat stuff the server claimed was from some sort of exotic filtrations system. Looked to me like a Sodastream that didn't work. Service was somewhat spotty, with the waitress disappearing for long periods of time. I didn't want to give up my seafood fork because I knew it would take forever to get another. They took it anyway and yes, it did take forever to get another."

"We dine here often and usually vet good. Tonight the service and the food was just ok. We were disappointed. The waiter couldn't be bothered and I had to track him down just the get the check. We sat for over a half hour after main course before they cleared out plates. He never asked if we wanted anything else. $200 for two people you would expect more!"

"Horrible, the service was the worst I have ever recived eatting out. The guy went to the large tables where the big tips were and never went to the tables with 2 people. "Everything was great from the bar to the table service. We like to arrive early and enjoy the ambiance at the bar- always a great vibe in there. There was a large private party in the room off the side of the bar, if we did not walk in behind the guest of honor we would not have know. I was worried there would be a delay at the table with such a large crowd in the private room but everything ran like clock work. Excellent food and excellent wait staff. My husband loves the tornado rolls. The lobster was great.
Would have given the Ambiance an outstanding (and the bar side is).....but the dining room can use a little change in decor."

"My husband and I received courtesy cards from the Bolhsen group in the amount of 100.00 which we were anxious to use as the expiration date was nearing. This is the third time we received cards from them, however the first time we received one of H20 as well as the first time we learned that there is a "new" Sun-Thurs restriction. Needless to say we were disappointed to learn this after we had already finished our meal and EVEN MORE disappointed that the Mgr. had no interest in "making it right".
We won't be returning as in addition to the issue with the complimentary cards, the waitress made us feel rushed as there is checking in the the patrons and stopping back every 2mins with "are you ready to order, yet"."

"We had a 7 pm reservation and arrived 20 minutes early. Not a big deal didn't mind waiting. There was a couple who walked in as we did but in front of us had a 7:30 reservation. The host sat them immediately. So I ask what's wrong with this picture. We had a 7 pm reservation he made us wait 20 minutes but sat the 7:30 people based on the fact it was obvious they were " regulars". In short they took our table. Guess this restaurant has a big enough following our business isn't so important. So on those grounds I can NOT give this restaurant a good review all I can say is we left with a bad taste in our mouths. There are enough really good places to eat that are just as pricey serve better portions and respect new patrons"

"Very disappointed for what we were led to believe wud be a top notch place. My wife's steak was not cooked as ordered and had to be sent back. To pay $5 for a small baked potato and $8 for a half-filled bowl of soup is not enjoyable. I cannot recommend this place at the prices they charge."

"We tried H2o after having been long time customers of Tellers, we decided to try H2O. Unfortunately, this place does not live up to the standards we had come to expect. The food was good, but nowhere near what I would expect given the price and the pedigree. The sauces overall were bland although the fish was tasty. The high point was the lobster bisque which was unique and flavorful. This as an appetizer set up my expectations for an outstanding meal, but I unfortunately was let down. I May try it again, but ONLY if there are discounts offered to ensure a good value. While I do not shy away from spending money for a quality dining experience, I left here disappointed."

"Very nice restaurant. Not too dark nor too bright. Lobster and shrimp wonton appetizer was delicious. Stuff flounder and miso glazed salmon were also very good. Think food is bit overpriced. Can go to any seafood restaurant on south shore for similar dishes and pay $6-$8 less."
