Since 1989, the Rams Head has served the freshest food possible, preparing each menu item from scratch, daily. Our steaks are aged Black Angus beef and we use fresh (never frozen) chicken, fish and crab. We're proud of quality of our food and our team philosophy- to provide you with the best service possible. "While I have never thought the food was all that great at Rams Head, on this particular visit, they had a fresh trout special that my wife ordered and thought was fantastic! It was a large filet, dusted with cajun spices and then baked in the oven. It was then topped with a fresh strawberry and basil "salsa." Probably one of the best things to ever come out of their kitchen.
The service was spotty as usual, so no surprise there.
Prices are very reasonable, they take reservations and there is plenty of parking close by."

"Overall we had a good experience, but note two issues. When we arrived a few minutes before our reservation, the hostess said they were overbooked and hoped to seat us soon. We were ultimately seated on time, but to tell a customer with a reservation that they might be seated late is probably not a good business practice.
Service was mediocre at best. Our waitress was pleasant, but slow and unorganized and brought me the wrong entree. When I pointed it out, she asked if I wanted my original order (I said no b/c what she had brought was a similar sandwich and was fine), but otherwise no effort to amend the mistake."

"My boyfriend and I were visiting Annapolis for the weekend and when we first arrived we were looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat before we unpacked. What a find! We happened to come during Happy Hour and we were treated to a great selection of drinks. We started with the crab dip, which in my opinion, was PHENOMENAL! We then split the macaroni and cheese and a small pizza. We were definitely full by the end of the meal and the bill was cheap! We loved the Tavern so much that we returned the next day to have more of the dip!
Our serveres were very attentive despite the fact that it was crowded. For all your Happy Hourers, for each drink you order during Happy Hour, you receive two tickets for two plates of wings!"

"We learned about Ram's Head through Gino Vannelli performance promotion. My wife and I found not only the show but the entire Ram's Head experience to be above expectations. "This is the 2nd time we have been to this facility. Again, it was a great experience. The service was great and our waitress went out of her way to make us comfortable and helped us locate our table at the after dinner concert area. The only problem we had was at the hostess station, which is kind-of hidden toward the middle of the restaurant. I know they were very busy, but after making reservations and arriving on time, we were put into "limbo-wait-stage", that was a little uncomfortable standing around in that small area and everyone is busy walking to and from through this area. After we got to our table, things really got much better. So that's my only complaint, standing around until around in that small hostess area - waiting!"

"We had dinner at Ram's Head then went to a MountainHeart concert afterwards. We used the concert package (discount dinner, discount parking, free beer afterwards, escort to the concert)and it was a great experience, as always. They provided free happy hour nibbles (sausage and saurkraut) and then we had their fish tacos for dinner - crispy fried fish, aoli sauce, guacamole, coleslaw. Lots of flavor. I must say, their service was excellent. We are so very lucky in Annapolis to have a great bar and concert venue like Ram's Head. Many thanks to the Mulhauser family!"

"This was my fourth trip to Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, once each year since 2010, and each visit has been wonderful. Since Annapolis is a 2-hour drive for me coming from Harrisburg, PA, I only go to see my favorite performers. I enjoy being able to see them in such an intimate environment. The front tables are close enough to touch the stage so you cannot beat that. This time I got there 3 hours early so I killed the time next door at the Rams Head Tavern, where I dined each of my previous visits. The food and service have been top notch each time so I do not have to worry about planning any other stops on my trip. This time I got to sample some of their extensive beer selection, which impressed me. No complaints here."

"Jazz trio was great - food was a bit below standard - brunch drinks (mimosa and Bloody Mary were not up to standard. Probably will not go back for Sunday Brunch - too many other good places in the area."

"Much better service this time around. I love Ramshead and we go often- at least once a month. The shows are great- the attention to your drink orders consistent during the show and the food both during the show and before hand at dinner well worth the effort. I think we have only ever had one bad night there."
