Morgans Fish House is a casually upscale restaurant in a contemporary space that is warm & sophisticated. The newly transformed bar is a great place to meet for a drink or have a bite to eat, & the spacious dining room is comfortable & inviting.
Our Chef will be preparing the freshest seafood in a classic style as well as a style that is all his own. For those who are not seafood lovers don't worry, there’s more. How about a delicious Filet Mignon, expertly prepared by our chef or Herb Roasted Chicken with magnificent Rosemary Garlic Pan Sauce.
If you are looking for a quick bite to eat during the week, or you are just in the mood for something lighter, the chef has prepared an entire section on the menu devoted to just that. Enjoy the chopped salad, Ahi Tuna Wrap or Maine lobster roll, just to name a few.
"Sitting in the back room on Saturday night was nice because you could hear your tablemates. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. We had to ask for bread, water, refills of water. There weren't enough waiters for the number of tables on a Saturday night. Our waiter made sure that the menu items didn't interfere with allergies; that was excellent. However, the bus-staff need more training. Our party of 4 would go back, but not on a Saturday night."

"Morgan's used to be a favorite but at this last visit it seemed like everything changed. Menu had nothing good on it. 3 out of 4 of my party did not enjoy their meals. Disappointed."

"The fish was very good, but everything cost a little bit more than it should have. And they didn't have a children's menu, so we dropped $26 on our daughter's meal. We'll shop around for a better deal on seafood. But, again, the fish was very good. I had blackened swordfish based on the waiter's recommendation. The kale and potatoes were also delicious."

"I couldn't make up my mind because there were so many good choices on the menu. That means I'll have to return for more. Everyone in our party of three was satisfied with what they ordered--especially my daughter, the ultimate critic. Since we had taken her there for her birthday, I was glad it was a good experience for everybody. We had the seafood risotto, linguine with lobster and shrimp and seafood salade nicoise. We didn't make a big deal about it being her birthday, but the manager noticed that she opened a present and brought her some special butter cookies in the shape of the restaurant's logo which was sweet. Our waiter was young and inexperienced but pleasant and attentive."

"We went to Morgans with high expectations but were disappointed. The food is nothin to write home about and it seemed as if they needed to turn the table over. Too bad considering we thought it would be a neighborhood gem."

"I must say, I wasn't very impressed, granted it was HVRW but that's kinda the point of the week, so you can impress and retain new customers. It really came down to the server we had, while he wasn't horrible or rude, he just didn't seem very accommodating to my food restrictions and he wasn't very clear when explaining things. (I.e Mahi Mahi not on HVRW menu but apparently was avail off reg menu). As for dessert, despite my telling the server of my food restrictions up front, I still got served berries with dairy on it. I also felt rushed out of there when the busboy was beginning to clean our the table the second we stood up to put our coats on--hadn't even walked away from our table yet. Not the experience we were expecting overall"

"First time visit and it was lovely. We usually go to its sister restaurant Ruby's but decided to try Morgans. It did not disappoint. Food was lovely and staff was quite friendly and on top of their game. Will go back again. If you go try to sit with Peter he is on the ball."

"Staff comes to the tablwe too often and ask if every service and food is good. Like other restaurant, staff should see the timing of table visit and should not make too often."

"We enjoyed our lunch on a Saturday, and were surprised how empty it was. Nice menu, well prepared food, good service. They were out of the dessert my friends wanted, and went out their way to provide an attractive substitute. Would definitely go again. However, I guess that it might be noisy at dinner."

"Morgans Fish House interior was lovely and we sat in the back room which had more privacy. Service was prompt and thorough throughout our meal. The food was good but overpriced. I would not return since the food does not warrant the prices."

"Went for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week - the salmon was dry and overcooked. The fettucini with shrimp included three small shrimp that looked and tasted like they were previously frozen. Unacceptable at a restaurant specializing in fish. Not worth the money."

"I was just plain totally underwhelmed. Food was mediocre at best, however my dessert was particularly inedible (dry, gritty cake), Service seemed insincere....I.e., the waiter "could care less". Our reservation was for 7:00 pm, and two items on the menu were already not available. I would not recommend this restaurant, nor return."

"Reliable seafood and fish offerings in an upbeat atmosphere. Excellent service, reasonable wine list and wide selection of offerings are appealing. One of my dinner companions and I ordered the Gumbo which is usually a good bet. This time it was underseasoned with no spicy taste whatsover. The same may be said for the special soup -sweet potato/lobster bisque...very little flavor. We hope this is not a trend and represents an off night as we really enjoy this restaurant!"

"Food was satisfactory, not great. We sat near the entrance and I was cold the entire time. None of us were thrilled. Too many great restaurants in Westchester to return to Morgans for just so so food."

"We used to come here and the food was pretty good. I don't know what happened but the food was mediocre. Even the bread was dried out and stale. My husband's blackened fish starter was pretty good -- but only 3 were on the plate. My stuffed shrimp were topped with more bread stuffing than shrimp. Our waiter must've been a trainee -- he didn't know how to describe the clam chowder! Would not return."

"Disappointing food. Fried clam appetizer special was very good. However, yellowfin tuna ans salmon main courses were nothing to write home about. The salmon was overcooked and the tuna was surprisingly devoid of taste. Service was excellent. You can do better."

"Decent food; would recommend before or after movies, lunch and kid friendly. I liked the old menu much better, more selections and varieties. Morgans was my favorite out of the three restaurants in Rye; now I would recommend Ruby's or Rye Bar & Grill over Morgans."

"We were seated in the back room next to the wine rack - very nicely lit, great music in the background, a gentle "buzz" of conversation, and the room was comfortably warm. Our waiter was competent, but clearly a rookie; his concern with getting us to like him competed with his primary task of getting us to like the restaurant. The menu was abundant with choices, but didn't seem as imaginative as one would expect at this price point. The food itself was very tasty, but not extraordinary. My wife's meal arrived tepid; it was remedied promptly, but again at this price point, should not have happened. Not an unpleasant experience; we think they just had an off night, and will give it another try."

"As a person who does not LOVE seafood, I would highly recommend Morgans Fish House. It had a great selection and variety, along with a clean and nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, service was quick (even on a Saturday night). Will definitely be coming back, hopefully to try one of the weeknight specials they offer."

"The wait staff and host were really outstanding. And the food was very good. The appetizer and dinners were very good - but I would try something different next time. I did love the kale that came as a side dish - it was very yummy - I ate all of it! The most memorable item from my dinner was the Key Lime pie - it was outstanding! I would also say they should add a few sauces - like something with wasabi even a teriyaki. Overall it was a very good dinner with very attentive staff."
