Besides the main dining room, there is a smaller dining area with a cozy fireplace that is perfect for an intimate dinner or business lunch, or you can dine in the loft dining room, which overlooks the usually busy bar scene below.
Modern American fare with creative, sophisticated tweaks.
Besides, malted grain beverages, The Tap House’s biggest appeal is its creative, modern American fare with some sophisticated tweaks it slips into its menu.
"Just had Mother's Day Brunch. We had a moderately large group (7) and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Given the fact that it was very busy the service was excellent. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, and the Bloody Mary's were excellent. It is a Pearl Group restaurant (for those foodies of Westchester in the know) so the food was consistent with what we were expecting. Very close to the Tuckahoe train station."

"Food and service were both excellent! It was a little packed with families/children on a Friday night but that didnt bother my boyfriend and I. We even stayed at the bar after dinner to have afew beers and watch the Rangers game. Would definitely go back!"

"This place used to have a unique menu. Now it's anywhere USA pub fare. If you are in the mood for chicken wings and sliders its a good option. If you yearn for creative culinary, go someplace else."

"I have been to The Tap House many times, and I have never had an experience that was anything but excellent. The staff is extremely warm and friendly, as well as knowledgeable with regards to the preparation of the dishes. My wife and I both ordered from the Restaurant Week menu, and we both loved our choices. Additionally, their beer and wine list has always been extensive and a major attribute to their success."

"We had a reservation for 7:30. We arrived on time but there were a lot of people waiting for tables. We waited at the bar, which was very crowded. We were finally seated at 8:00. That said, the people at the front were apologetic. The wait staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food was excellent. We will definitely go back."

"This place has got something for everyone. From simple, but wonderful, salads or sliders, to fresh pappardelle with lobster and truffle oil, to sublime steaks, the food is, in a word, fabulous! There are lovely cafe tables and booths in the bar area, a warm, fireplace lit dining room in the back, and a balcony dining area upstairs. All are extremely well served by a knowledgeable staff of waiters, bussers, and bartenders. It is a place we return to time and time again and the go-to place for impressing out-of-town guests."

"Always reliable...the managing staff is great, remembering who you are (the newer wait staff can be a bit inexperienced). However, the chef is exceptional, and they are always trying to keep it innovative, while hitting the typical 'pub' favorites. Also, the beer dinner specials are phenomenal--stay on the look out for ads."

"This was my third trip to the Tap House, and the first time I ever left unhappy. The food was amazing, but our waiter was very frazzled in seating us, unethusiastic about the specials (also, he was not prepared in presenting them) and his overall attitude towards our table (it was myself and a friend, both in our mid-twenties) was very unprofessional. Luckily I have been here before and had great experiences, otherwise I'm not sure I would be back. Granted, it was a Friday night, but it was not overly busy where we deserved the service we received."

"Eh. This was just ok. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. Thought it was a little expensive for just ok food. Plus when we sat down (the whole restuarant does have a nice cozy feel to it) we were near a window, and I saw our waitress pick up her cell phone that she had stashed behind a plant on the windowsill, haha. She was pretty good otherwise, just thought that was a little odd/unprofessional."

"A most excellent waiter served us food from an exciting menu but the food ultimately disappointed. Burger was bland. Appetizers just tasted of frying oil predominently. Food wasn't up to the prices"
