"Food was better than average. However service was too fast. Noise level was way beyond "fine dining". Total cost was within expectations, but very pricy in relation to the overall experience. We would not return."

"There is nothing bad you can say about this place. This was our third time around and we have yet to be disappointed. We have been here for dinner (1) and for Brunch (x2). This time around we had had Mussels Mariniere along with a Croque Madame, both mouthwatering. Add some had crafted bloody marys and we were in heaven."

Review 6 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Morels is one our favorite restaurants on the strip. We are locals and dine out about twice a week on average. The service is superb and outside dining is very relaxing and enjoyable. We always enjoy the oysters on the half shell and the different cheeses. Highly recommend."

"My overall experience at Morel's was good, however I found the meal to be expensive, while the food was good, in my mind, not worth the price. I have had better steaks, for less money, and the wine prices were high."

Review 11 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Weekend brunch menu is limited in comparison to other french rest.on the strip. The balcony railing is set pretty high so unless you are 6' with a long neck, it's hard to get any view while seated. I can't speak for the entire wait staff but my particular waitress was slow. It took a while for her to take our order for drinks, then even longer for her to return to take our order. She returned with the drinks, dropped them off, then walked away to other tables. Were we ready to order? YES. Did she bother to ask? NO. Got the french onion soup but no spoon. I would have used the dessert spoon IF there was one on the table but all we had were forks and butter knives. Finally has to ask a busboy for a soup spoon. Would write more but no space.."

"We have eaten there twice before , but tonight everyone was off- frim start to finish. Then when they called me back an hour after dinner to tell me they discarded the receipt and inquired what the tip amount was- sorry. We won't be returning."

"Morels is by far one of the best in Vegas. You can tell its a great steak house by the number of all male parties just enjoying huge succulent chunks of meat without the wives around to talk about diet etc"

Review 17 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Good service. Food was ok. Came for the foie gras and sadly there was none. Should take it off the menu and off the online menu. Only noticeable issue was the souffle could have been offered while checking on our entrees due to the 20 minutes it took to prepare. Otherwise, I would go back and recommend to others."

Review 18 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"One our favorites when visiting Vegas. Celebrated my fiances birthday here this year, and they treated us like royalty. Our bartender took care of us on the patio, which by the way has a great view of the strip and the show at Treasure Island; he was attentive, fun, and made the night special. his Irish accent was a special touch;-) steaks are top notch, and order some cheese, before or after dinner it rocks...wine list is fabulous, even fantastic choices on the wines by the glass menu-try the Super Tuscan!"

"The food was served and it was Luke warm at best. When you pay high price for a steak you want it to be perfect. Overall experience was just ok, same service I would receive at a Applebee's. nothing special."

Review 24 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"You would think that a steak house located inside the Palazzo in Las Vegas would have outstanding food and service. The food experience was mediocre at best and the service staff needed some serious training. You should expect for a $250.+ tab that you and your wife would have a great dining experience. That was not the case in any aspect and I would recommend you spend your $ elsewhere."

Review 28 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Although the restaurant interior was nice, and service was great, the food was bland. We had soup, salad, Branzino, and profiteroles and a trio of creme brûlée for dessert. I have never added salt to a meal at a restaurant, ever. We couldn't add enough it seemed to the soup and fish dishes. Although overall we had a nice time, I wouldn't go back, because the food was not up to par."

Review 29 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"It was exactly what we expected of a fine restaurant with the sole exception of the noise. I indicated on the Open Table reservation that this was an important business dinner and we wanted to be seated with some acoustical isolation. Upon check in I confirmed this single requirement. My first hint that this would not go as planned was our centrally located table in the main (only?) dining room. For an hour it was fine but they seated a boisterous group at the next table and the next 90 minutes made conversation a challenge. It's unfortunate that this entire review focuses on the noise and not the food and wine but the dining experience was unsatisfactory. If you aren't concerned with dialog this is a really nice restaurant."

"Was amazing food but just a little loud. I could barely hear the people at my table b/c of all the loud big groups that were there. Maybe if there was some barriers in the restaurant instead of just one big room."

"To start with, the menu is fantastic. A wide range of choices that are both classic and cutting edge. A true culinary experience. Great wine list that is amazingly affordable.
The servise there is the best in Vegas in my opinion. Very attentive and extrmely personable.
I would recommend Morels to anyone that wants to truly experience the joys of quality food and world-class service."

Review 34 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Morels was a nice steakhouse to eat at. The service was very good. The steaks ordered were okay but not spectacular, especially when factoring in the cost. Personally I had the 14 oz Rib Eye steak without the bone and I thought it was excellent. My wife had the 14 oz NY sirloin w/o the bone and it was okay. I also tried a couple bites from a friend's 20 oz Rib Eye with the bone and I wasn't impressed with it. Mine was by far the best tasting steak. The previous year our group ate at Smith & Wollensky and all agreed the steak was much better there and so were the appetizers."

Review 36 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"They took my two favorite things off of the menu since last time: the salmon flatbread and the blood orange margarita. I had some kind of brioche with salmon and spinach, which was good, but not great. The regular margarita was pretty good, although the spicy bloody mary tasted ONLY of tabasco. bleh."

Review 37 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Fantastic dining experience. Excellent wine&spirit list. Food was to die for. A bit pricey, 2 cocktails, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and one dessert ran us about185 + tip. Our waiter seemed to be a bit snooty and I wasn't crazy about him. But all the othe waiters and bussers seamed extremely nice. This and the price are the my only restraints from issuing a 5 star review. Very good aged scotch selection. Was there at 10 on a friday night and it was pretty dead which surprised me. didnt bother me at all though as we had a nice quiet meal. And one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. If you're in Vegas and want a nice upscale French steakhouse this is the place.
And make sure to get the pomme frittes with the truffle mayo, it's amazi"

"For the third year in a row, I chose Morels for an important business dinner. The overall experience the previous two years was excellent; not so this time. All aspects of the experience have diminished noticeably. I will not be taking my business there in the future, there are too many other excellent choices available."

Review 44 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Food was below expected standard. Several people ordered steaks and when the cam out undercooked, the manager chose to debate the definition of medium well rather than just try to correct the situation. Six people at the table all agreed that the steaks were under cooked based on the normal industry definition.
After the whole experience taking too long, we passed on dersert and asked for our check. They tried to recover by brining out a free selection of deserts but by this point we just wanted to get the check and move on."

Review 46 for Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas
"Great place to take a client. Upscale and great service. Waiter was hovering occasionally and seemed to be in a rush at times to turn the table but tough! Solid food, great preparation and a very well run bar. Actually I think they could use more help in the bar as the bar tender had to take orders and run drinks inside and outside at the bar and in the seated area. It was only because she worked so hard that it all worked. Her name I believe was Yvette...if the manager is reading this think about giving her a raise!
Overall a great spot."

"Lots of big groups and being just two of us we were shuttled off to a back of the room location where one of us got to face the wall. Very vibrant and fun place for large groups though, while I will pass again for a place for two people!"

"Constructive criticism is meant to help. That is my goal. The hostess was incompetent and more than rude. We felt that although the filet was wonderful the lobster was not. The appetizer and side dishes were poor in flavor. We dined early so the restaurant was not yet full. We noticed that there was plenty of help. They did appear to be talking a lot among themselves which was a little distracting. On a very positive note. We enjoyed a 2007 Caymus Cab. ( a bottle that restaurants are often out stock) . And one employee stood out above all the other. He was alert, efficient, polite and always smiling. He was our, I think waiter assitant, named Shane."
