The Cafe is open from Monday through Saturday. Decorated with Vertes Murals, this legendary cabaret is an intimate venue in which to enjoy superb French culinary creations. Dinner is required for 6:30, 7:00 or 7:30 seatings.
"my husband and i made our second visit to the cafe carlyle to celebrate our 30th anniversary. the place is a real gem--and old style supper club and cabaret in an intimate setting. ladies and gentlemen are elegantly dressed (jackets are required). the waiters and bartenders are well trained and polite, and the cabaret music is just wonderful. it's like having a nice dinner and music afterward in someone's lovely living room. not inexpensive, but worth it! places like this are rare!"

"The Carlyle was amazing! It's a very special place with a well deserved reputation. Although the food is only average, the service and the wine are both excellent."

"A great place for a special night out, rich with history, with a lovely intimate feel. We saw Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young's "My Turn" program. What a wonderfully memorable evening! We arrived earlier than I expected and were seated without any problems. I was very pleased with our table, it was close to the stage without feeling like the band was right on top of us. The dining room is small enough that any table would provide an excellent view of the stage. Food is good but overpriced. We had an excellent chardonnay with dinner. Surprisingly few menu options for vegetarians. Great service. The evening was a splurge, but well worth it."

"The Cafe Carlyle is one of those wonderful places that rings of nostalgia and the "good old days." It is small (75-100 people max) and takes you back to the 40's and 50's when supper clubs were the ultimate entertainment venue. The guest artists at the Carlyle are top notch (we saw John Lloyd Young of Jersey Boys fame) and while a little cramped the place allows you to be very close to the entertainment. Service is impeccable. Beware though that you will pay a hefty price for the pleasure of eating their very good food and enjoying the top stars that perform there."

"We like to dine at the nicer and even pricier restaurants in the city, but the food and drinks here were shamefully expensive. Bouley prices with average diner quality food. Very disappointing."

"I made a reservation through Open Table but when we arrived, with our confirmation email print-out, there was no evidence of it in the Cafe Carlyle reservation book. The maitre d' was very polite and did find us a table and we had good service although for the HUGE price, the food was only mediocre, I'm afraid. I have made one other reservation through this service in Niagara-on-the-Lake and it was honoured."
