"You relax as you walk in . First of all great bay views especially at Dinnertime. Mellow and relaxing atmosphere though busy. Piano bar adds nice mood. As for the food, nice selection of seafood and standards: all well done. Had a seafood pan roast; like a drier version of bouillabaisse which was excellent. Each piece of shrimp, scallop, lobster and crab was plump and flavorful. Wine list had our favorite Pinot-Meomi--- which made it a perfect dining experience."

"The food and experience were great. We were in Ocean City for vacation and ate at Steve and Cookie's for the first time, needless to say we will be back again and again. Sometimes you get only one or two good courses, but not here, all three courses were excellent. We had the ugly tomato and sausage bean appetizers, the crab imperial and roasted duck for our main and creme brûlée for dessert all were clean your plate delicious. The drinks were fantastic and the service impeccable. Our only complaint is that it can be a little loud, especially if you are seated anywhere near the bar, but this would not be a deterrent to returning to the great restruant."

"We love the food at Steve and Cookies. We love the service also. We hate the noise level! Especially with live music playing as well. That would be a really nice touch, but without the owners doing anything to muffle the noise level, the music is just annoying."

"Steve and Cookie's provides great food in an extremely pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. The wine list was very good. Live music was provided via a piano and stand-up bass. The service was exceptional. Our waitress was on top of everything and extremely accommodating. Also, if available, the blueberry pie is a restaurant speciality and extremely delicious."

"We have been dining at Steve & Cookies for years. I can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal. The double stuffed pork chop, and the boulliabasie (sp?)are the best. The deserts are just great. I have traveled allot and have eaten at numerous restaurants througout the U.S. and I can say Steve & Cookies is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The service is great. Cookie takes a personal interest in speaking with her diners by visiting the tables. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone."

"I have eaten at Steve and Cookies many times. For special Birthdays and romantic dinners and just a good time. I have been there with a group for birthdays and we all had an awesome time, I have found it to be an enjoyable dining experience with wonderful service and Great food and drink. This time I was seated in the back room and just loved it. I especially like this room if it is just the two of you....with a group I have been seated in the front dining area which can be a bit noisy but still a great time. I have never been disappointed in the food or service."

"Always come back to this wonderful resturant. George a wizzard behind the bar is the consumate professional and always has a wonderful selection of tasty unusual cocktails. Great Beet dish for an appetizer. The Veal Millenaise, served on the bone was outstanding, along with the stuffed pork chop and cowboy steak special. For dessert when available you must have the fresh fruit pies. We had the best blueberry pie ever made with local fruit and very seasonal prepared by the proprietess Cookie, also the flaming crem burle was also wonderful. Great night"

"I've only been here twice, but the same thing happened each time. My appetizer was delicious, my entree was not. I had a crispy tuna roll that is part of the regular menu and it was great. My main course was a special for the nigh; a mixed seafood pan grill. It came with rice and was very plain. The seafood was mostly cooked well, I had one shrimp that was underdone, but there was no seasoning except salt. Considering how flavorful the tuna roll had been, I was quite surprised. My first visit was the same. I had a delicious appetizer of short ribs and a not so delicious bouillabaisse (a regular menu item.) I believe my next visit, if there is one will be just appetizers and that should be fine."

"It was a beautiful setting and delicious food! The only downfall was that the table next to us had an issue with their check so our waitress forgot about us for some time. We had no drinks, but I will say that she was very apologetic. Overall it was a great experience! I would highly recommend"

"Our experience was fine overall. When we checked in the host seemed annoyed that we had a baby with us. She proceeded to inform us that there was no high chair for him and could we hold him. We were in a take it or leave it situation. We brought in his car seat. Fortunately a high chair was found but due to my observance not the host.
Our dinner was very good. Had a pleasant server. We did not allow the host's attitude to interfere with what was mostly a good dining experience."

"Still one of the best, if not the best, restaurant on the island. The duck is superb! Perfectly done outside (crispy) and tender inside. The veal Milanese is to die for. The only "criticism", if you will, is that there is too much food. Apps are too big - salads can feed two or three if they are small eaters. I say this as there was no room for dessert and that is something worth trying! Cookie runs a fab place and I'd highly recommend this restaurant."

"Greeted and ushered table without delay. Wait staff were attentive but not bothersome. Waiter was well versed inall areas of the offering amd provided well mannered advice when asked. Sushi appitizer was excellent starter and salmon special was revealing but not overwhelmed by its preparation. Staff was also genuinely enthusiastic when they joined in our birthday cellebration at the end of our great night out. But this quality is not surprising, it's been this way from the beginning."

"Having heard mixed reviews of Steve and Cookies ("overpriced", "good but expensive", "a place to see and be seen"), we were a little apprehensive about whether it would be worth the pretty high priced menu. But it did not disappoint at all. From the very friendly hostess, to our excellent and very attentive waitress, we were thrilled with the service. While the prices were on the high side, it was worth every penny we spent (and we spent quite a few!!!). Both the baby lamb chop appetizer and the halibut special were absolutely delicious (and we have pretty high expectations when it comes to dining out)!!

"It was our 8th Wedding Anniversary and this was our first time at Steve and Coockie's. The service was great from start to finish, definitely no complaints. As far as the food for the price it could have been better. I probably would rather go to Sage or Ruth's Chris in Ventnor and AC based on the price and food quality. "First time trying this restaurant. Fabulous food! Had mentioned when booking the reservation that it was our 2nd anniversary. Surprising after we declined dessert from being too full a nice variety of bite size desserts came to us with the words Happy Anniversary in chocolate with a candle in the whipped cream. Nice touch and we didn't expect that at all. Highly recommend this restaurant."

"My husband and I try never to eat out at the shore on the weekend as we do not like waiting or crowds but we did dine on Saturday night and our table was ready and the food was delicious. We have eaten here multiple times and the food is always great. It does not matter what you order as everything is good. So just eat what you are in the mood for....even the meatloaf is fantastic! On the weekend the restaurant fills up so it can get quite noisy but that is normal anyplace. Cookie always checks on you to make sure everything is perfect. I have no complaints except it is very hard to get a reservation during the summer and that it can get noisy at times...BUT the food is the best!"

The lobster mac & cheese was a noticeably smaller portion than previous years, but delicious as always with nice size pieces of lobster. The cold seafood combination platter is the best, however I am not a fan of the new vegetable slaw and wish they would go back to the fresh asparagus, no substitutes."

"Poor menu choices. At the shore but only 2 fish dishes and both salmon! Our server didn't know about some of the food and was not very helpful and disappeared a lot. Food was well prepared but not exciting and ambience detracted from enjoyment. "This place was recommended by a friend and I can't say when I have been more pleased dining out. The service was over the top as they worked together to accommodate our needs and a special thanks to our server Laura. I choose the special Pan Seared seafood and it was cooked to perfection.
