"We liked Modis it was a little pricy, but the presentation of the food was amazing it was truly art! Our server was great and the mood pretty good, drinks were very fun and worth stopping by for some drinks and apps, the butcher board app was awesome. Try them out for a romantic or nice intimate dinner with friends."

"We sat upstairs and outside and welcomed in the evening with views of the Ten Mile Range. Our server was excellent, food fantastic and overall, we had a great experience. As locals, it's rare to find this combination which is why we continually come back to Modis."

"I don't really have any negative comments for Modis. The cocktail list is definitely unique, and both our drinks were good (the Liquid Sword was potent). Apps were fresh and light, entrees were delicious and, perhaps surprising for their quality, quite large. The little touches like the radish and cucumber salad on the halibut were amazing. Nothing too heavy, either. And for dessert, pretty traditional NY cheesecake with a delectable lemon curd and who can complain about some french press coffee... Definitely worth a stop."

"Best restaurant in Breckenridge! The management and staff have changed and they haven't missed a beat. We had the lamb and ribeye steak special and both were cooked to perfection along with the delicious side dishes. Portion size was more than enough. The service was excellent all around and our waitress was very attentive."

"Great atmosphere. Bar and bartenders were excellent. Happy hour highly receommended. Great drinks and delicious appetizers. We visited twice in 2 days - once for happy hour and once for dinner. Staff was very attentive and food well prepated. The only flaw was at dinner - 2 of the 3 appetizers we ordered were served as expected - before our meal. The 3rd one was served with dinner. I wanted to point out the problem to our server, however the person in our party receiving their "late" appetizer said it was OK, so no big deal."

"I was a little worried reading all the reviews regarding the recent change in ownership at Modis, but decided to give it a try during our recent ski trip to Breckenridge. I am SO glad we did. The food was great. From apps to main course, we ate every bite. I can't comment on dessert as we were so darn full that we had to pass (although they looked good on our neighbor's table). We only get to Colorado/Breckenridge once a year, so I tend to be a little choosy when picking a restaurant as we have a limited number of nights to eat. But I'm glad we chose Modis and we will definitely eat there again when we're back in town."

"Modis was indeed a good find and the food was as expected. The charcuterie plate was fresh, however would have loved to be accompanied by some mustards or fruit. Their special garlic/onion soup had good flavor and their rib special was divine...I wish there were more. This was our second favorite place to eat in Breckenridge, after Ember."

"We had a great meal starting with salads that were very large and could have been shared. I had the stuffed chicken, delicious and my mate the pork chop, also very good. We had no room for dessert and brought a small bag home. The ambiance is quiet and very nice for a date night!"

"I have been going to modis since they opened and it has been one of my favorite restaurants in Breck! The ambience is great and the food has been interesting g and delicious! We always had a tough time figuring out what to order as everything sounded so good! And they had a great martini menu.
Sadly, this trip to modis was less satisfying. The menu had changed. Our salad was fine not great and our mahi mahi was undercooked. There was no martini menu.
Then we found out that the owners had changed.
I hope the new owners can figure out that if it isn't broken, don't fix it!!!"

"Modis has quickly established itelf as one of the 'go-to' restaurants in Breckenridge. We have gone their duiring our last three annual skiing vacations and have never been disappointed. The menu is small but diverse, always fresh ingredients, and there are always one or two specials that are worth trying. A full bar, very good beer and wine lists. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Go."

"This place is doing everything right. Friendly and inviting ownership and staff. The mixologist is doing an excellent job and they have a great cocktail menu as well as wines by the glass. The food was just as good and this was a great place for a night out. Right now I think this is the best restaurant in Breckenridge."
