"We have dined at Kincaid's many times but never for brunch. It was Mother's Day and the food was fantastic. The service however was not as good. The waiter was very busy and doing his best to get back to each table but he was swamped. I don't recall seeing any busboys and that would have helped the waiter not to have to take the time to clear dishes. The wait for the food was longer than normal but to be expected on the holiday. All in all we had an enjoyable time."

"We went to Kincaid's for Mother's Day and had a great brunch. The menu had something to please all our picky eaters. It was busy, so the food took a little longer, but it arrived hot and delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. We'll be going back soon."

"We've never had a bad meal at Kincaids. Food is always tasty and delicious. Friendly, warm staff makes an evening out extra special. Our waitress was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. She recognized it was our anniversary and made the evening a memorable one."

"We went to Kincaid's for a mother's day dinner. My only complaint was that it took them 20 minutes to seat us even though we had a reservation. Once we were seated, however the service was very good. Everyone enjoyed the good. It was all very good. Of course, the view was lovely."

"Next time I read a review on Yelps I will believe it. The reviews on Yelps were bad regarding this restaurant and I didn't want to believe them, well trust me in the future I will! The food was ok but the service was HORRIBLE. I understand it being Mother's Day and all but we waited for over an hour for our food and to me that's unacceptable!"

"We were there for Mother's Day Brunch. The restaurant was almost full, but I can see open tables and there were no parties waiting to be seated. It took more than 30 minutes to get our brunch of mostly breakfast food - so nothing exotic that would require special attention. When we got our food, it was obvious that the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extensive amount of time. Our server was less than attentive and we basically only saw him one time after getting our food. When we were done with our food, our server came back to us and just handed us the bill. Meanwhile we were hoping to get some dessert. Rather than getting us the dessert menu, our server simply give us a verbal list of items. We left immediately."

"Three for dinner: one ordered salad and soup, one ordered salad and clams, one ordered mussels. The two who ordered salad were barely into the salad when the waiter delivered their second course, despite no room really for two plates. No apologies for essentially dumping the second course and having to move partially eaten salads to accommodate the plates. No seafood forks provided for the clams or the mussels. No bowl for shells or spoon for broth."

"The food and service were very good, but the prices very high. Portions are large, so my wife and I split a $40 steak, which was just the right amount for us. But $40 for a steak is pretty expensive. The menu has a good selection of seafood and meat dishes. The dessert we chose was a waffle with chocolate and caramel sauces and some ice cream. It was just "sweet" with no character. When we complained, the manager did not charge us for it, a gesture which we appreciated. Wine prices are also expensive. It would be helpful if there were a few wines in the $20 range."

"I hadn't been to Kincaid's in a long time, but I decided to take my family for Easter Brunch. Wow, the restaurant was very crowded and with reservation, we had to sit in the bar area at a very small table. My family and I were squished in between other tables and could barely move our chairs without hitting people next to us. The waiter was very nice, but in the future, I will make sure I ask for a table in the dining section and not the bar."

"My friend and I had dinner here before a concert at the Oakland arena. We were seated by a window with a beautiful view. My "picky eater" friend ordered Lobster and said it was delicious, cooked perfect. The food, drinks and service were terrific. We will definately be back! Thank you!!"

"I took my friend for a birthday lunch last week. I had not been to Kincaid's before and found it to be a pleasant place to dine. There weren't many customers when we were there so it was rather subdued, which was fine. The views of the water and sailboats was beautiful! Our waitress was cheerful and attentive. The food is a bit on the heavy side, and felt like comfort food, but was delicious. I had the Dijon Chicken and didn't realize it would be fried, but it was tasty nonetheless.
I would return to take my husband for lunch or dinner there. I appreciated the valet parking."

"My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant for Valentine's weekend. Our reservation was for 4pm. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated (at a window per our request). The crab and artichoke dip had way too much artichoke and no crab, but aside from that the food was amazing! Very flavorful. I highly recommend the seafood etouffee and lobster tail. We will definitely be returning for another date night."

"This restaurant has been a local favorite of our family's for years, and the food is always excellent! We usually leave feeling satisfied, but this particular instance didn't quite work out that way. The food was great, but our server pretty much forgot about us. We were with our 2 year old daughter, who towards the end had begun to get restless. We asked for the check at the same time that we asked for the dessert that came with my daughter's kids meal. Almost 20 minutes later, no check and no dessert. My daughter and I left while my husband waited, and waited, and waited for the check (no dessert ever came). So disappointing... We may wait a while before returning here."

"We were very disappointed in the quality of the food and definitely will not be returning. I had the beef brisket and coconut prawns. There was very little brisket on my plate and it was very fatty. The prawns were good. My wife had the filet and it was very low quality. The mashed potatoes looked and tasted like instant. It was very expensive for the the quality of the food. I guess you're paying for the atmosphere and scenic bay views. On the positive side, our server was very good and attentive and the bar drinks were made good."
