"I always enjoy eating here. I have known the Maitre 'd Tiffany for 7 or 8 years now. She's very sweet. Our hostess (Kaitlyn) was very agreeable as well, and kept telling us "absolutely!" to all our requests. It was a wonderful meal, they kept acommodating our seating changes (went from 6 to 9, wanted a window seat, earlier time, etc.), and they were very patient. I always recommend this restaurant."

"As a loyal of fan I recommended birthday brunch for my sister at Kincaid's. As always, the food was spot on, no complaints whatsoever! The service lacked its usual efficiency - appetizer plates sat at our table much too long after we were finished. Second course took too long to receive."

"We were treated to Kincaid's for Father's Day. The views of the Oakland inner harbor and the boats is wonderful, great for kids and adults, alike. The food was good, nothing off the charts. Not a problem with too much food being served. One of the child meals that was served was so small we had to order a second. Not sure if we were charged since I didn't pay the bill. My Louie Salad was missing a major component that I had to ask for....However, our server was FANTASTIC. Very attentive without being annoying. Great with the kids. He was one of the best servers I've every had in an eating establishment."

"The ambiance was remarkable, the staff were inviting and very very friendly, our server {John} was "extremely" knowledgeable of the wine listings and the menu, his dining recommendations were all very very wonderful. The food was "FANTASTIC" the best I've ever had, all fresh and well prepared, the experience is unlike any I've/we've ever had. Before we left we just had to let the Manager know about our experience and that we would surely be repeat customers...!"

"It's been quite a few years since I've last been to Kincaid's. Still the same in my opinion. Excellent food and great view. Waiter even asked if we had anywhere that we had to be to expedite our order if need be. That was rather thoughtful as we were heading to a concert afterwards."

"Having dined at Kincaids on several occasions I have come to expect great food, great service and an ambiance conducive to fine dining. This visit was no exception. The Oysters Rockefeller was an excellant way to start our dining experience. The only complaint I would have about the appetizer is that it was just enough (7 oysters) to make you mad that there weren't more. I had the aged prime rib, a large well marbled perfectly cooked piece of meat that satisfied my taste buds before I even tried the first forkfull. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. He took the time to offer suggestions and came to check on us just the right number of times."

"I enjoyed the dining experience here as we were with our daughter and grandaughter but I have not eaten at this Kincaid's location before and I was a little disappointed with the food. We always eat at the Burlingame location and love it but the food at the Jack London Square location was not as good for me as at the Burlingame location.

"We had a birthday celebration party of 6, drinks at the scenic bar first off were awesome and the waiter was attentive. We received great service at our table with everones questions and drinks. "My "14 Ounce" new york steak was not... 3/4" thick, perhaps 11-12oz. As a result of being a thin cut, it was only lighly broiled to achieve a medium rare center. The outside has a kind of 'boiled/light brown' look (yes, 'boiled' with no R)...not that kind of crust you'd expect on a $39 piece of meat.
Service was ASTONISHINGLY SLOW. Two of us, in our section of 10 tables, 2 were occupied. Seated at 7:30 mid week, so restaurant was empty. 30 minutes to get appetizer. anohter 30 for main course.
I'd eaten here before and enjoyed it. But these prices are Ruth Chris or Mortons prices, and this product is definitely NOT close to their levels."

"Kincaid's continues to be my #1 restaurant for special occasions. The food is superb and the choices have recently expanded to be more waistline-friendly, which I know I appreciate. Even though it is a lovely, fancy restaurant, I've never been made to feel uncomfortable by bringing my child with me. At the same time, I've come on romantic occasions and for "Girl's Night Out," and those nights were no less enjoyable (rather more so).
The service is ideal and everything that appears (apparently magically) at your table is a delight.
The special touches they add for special and romantic occasions are amazing."

"Met up with a friend I had not seen for 20 years, another friend of mine recommended this establishment as I am had never been to Oakland, CA before. Turned out to be a very wise decision, the bar tender was very courteous, professional & smooth. When we were escorted to our table the waitress had us put our drinks on her tray to carry for us which made it very nice & sat us in a nice shady spot in front of the windows overlooking the bay. It was a beautiful day, even saw a fish jump out of the ocean! What made our meal very special was our waitress, she was excellent, seamless, knew exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. We had the filet minon, which was cut perfectly medium just the way I like it, very tasty!"

"We had Easter brunch at Kincaid's. We were promptly seated a few minutes before our reservation time. The restaurant was very crowded due to the holiday but it didn't seem chaotic. The view of the water is excellent and is available from almost every table. They were offering a special menu for the holiday and their regular menu was not available. Our service was outstanding especially when you consider how busy the restaurant was. Our server was prompt without rushing us and was very accomodating with a couple of special requests that we had. The food was deliciousand we thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience."

"Waiter and the waitress he was training were both very good and frequently visited table. Although restaurant seemed unusually slow for a Saturday, service was outstanding. The food was a tad bit salty (4 out of 6 guests at our table had the same comment) but, was good. Prices are a tad bit high."

"My "local" Kincaid's (Burlingame) does not serve brunch, so I drive from the South Bay all the way to Jack London Square just for the brunch!
Does that tell you anything? EXCELLENT, end to end, from the menu, to ambience, to the cocktails, to the wait staff, who were patient and sweet to the toddler we had with us my last visit.
Highly recommend it!"

"I went there for the first time with my mom. Parking is validated for a reduced rate. We both ordered steaks that were really good. I wish they had a side of butter to spread on the steak like other high end restaurants. I ended up spending 87 dollars for 2 steak dinners and tip. Service was excelled. Angela was awesome. Nice view of the ocean. Pretty small restaurant though. I would go again but not unless you have money"

"I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend's birthday so I brought him to Kincaid's Bayhouse. It was his first time to the restaurant, he was truly impressed. The service was great and the food we ordered was wonderful. We had a wonderful time and we're looking forward to bringing our friends and family with us."

"The crab artichoke dip was to die for!!! So were my almond encrusted scallops in beurre blanc sauce. Yummy Yummy. The server was very attentive and was conscious of our time limit, as we were going to see a show that night."

"Made a reservation which was promply honored. The food was terrific - even when I ordered from their current special menu, food was superb. The view near the window was excellent, staff was very helpful in making sure we were comfortable with the afternoon sun cascading in. The best thing about our experience was the remarkable service from all the help. They were very attentive and we never felt rushed, even though others were waiting for tables."
