"The noise level was way too high to be able to enjoy the meal. Had to virtually fight our way out since getting to the door from the dining area requires weaving your way through a loud and crowded bar area. If I owned the restaurant I would do something to correct that. Although we love the food, I'm not sure that we will return due to the noise level and the location of the dining room relative to the bar."

"My wife & I went to Lucia's to celebrate her birthday. A wonderful experience! The food was very good; the portion sizes just right. We just returned from a trip to Italy; the food at Lucia's did not disappoint by comparison. The calamari appetizer was delicious; cooked to perfection. Similarly for the veal dish I had. My wife tells me her Lucia's chicken was good although not outstanding. The service was attentive. There was music the night we were there - accordion & vocalist; it was enjoyable & fit the mood of the place perfectly. The hostess provided us a delicious small chocolate cake (with candle); the musicians & entire dining room sang Happy B'day! That's the kind of welcoming place Lucia's is. We will certainly will return."

"My 2nd attempt here. I won't return. Waiter committed the mortal sin of bringing our entrees when we had hardly touched our appetizers. I had the Pappardelle with their Bolognese. The pasta was wonderful. Truly excellent and light. The Bolognese - not so much. It was a very plebeian sauce anyone could have cooked at home. Waiter never asked if we wanted grated cheese. Thankfully a busboy asked us, but I was 1/2 way through my meal. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the hostess who was very apologetic and even wrote down my comments and offered some form of concession but I didn't find that necessary. I just won't be back here. I'll stick to A Tavola in Winchester or Josephs Trattoria in Haverhill."

"Lucia was nice but a bit pretentious. We were a party of 8 with our 2 1/2 year old grand daughter. When asked if we could get pizza for her, the answer was no even though they served it at the bar 20 ft away. The automatic 25% gratuity for parties over six added to the bill was also a bit of a surprise. Other than that, great food and fun atmosphere."

"Once again, Lucia comes through with amazing food, service and atmosphere. This gem of a restaurant has such wonderful food, wine, and warm, welcoming staff, we will keep returning. "We went for Valentines Day and had a great night. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. My wife had the chicken/eggplant parm and said it was one of the best she's ever had. I had the pappardelle with lobster in a saffron cream sauce off of the specials menu. It was absolutely incredible! It's tucked away in a great little community and has a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!"
