"I've eaten at Zaya's before and have enjoyed it very much. Saturday night the restaurant was quite busy. This did not negatively impact the food or service, but the noise level was so loud that by the end of the meal we were having to shout at each I've eaten at Zaya's before and have enjoyed it very much. In the future, I'll visit on a less busy night.

BTW The Inman Park Restaurant Week $25 deal was terrific. We had so much to eat that we practically had to be rolled out of the restaurant!"

"Great food, great service (our waiter), but odd table layout. We were placed at a table where every server that walked by was bumping our table or touching the top our table as they walked by. This was at first kind of annoying and then got a bit gross. It was busy because it was Inman Park Restaurant Week - but either the tables need to be laid out differently or the servers need to keep their hands to themselves."

"The Grape Leaves are the best that I've had. The meat pies are yummy. Calamari is just o.k. The rack of lamb, shrimp, and kofta are also delicious. And don't forget the Mumahara and pita they give you to start. All very enjoyable!"

"Regardless of the class of the restaurant -- high end, funky, cheap but plentiful -- its hallmark must be consistency. Zaya has a problem in this regard. During a visit 3 weeks ago the food was good -- tasty, well prepared and seasoned. This visit was not the same experience. The fried eggplant was nearly burned and very salty. I had ordered the fish kababsv last visit and they were succulent and perfectly seasoned. This visit they were exceedlingly salty and thinly sliced. Disappointing."

"The food was good and the half price appetizers allowed us to sample a variety of flavors. I had a 7:00 p.m. reservation on a Friday night and was placed right next to the service area with lots of traffic and noise. We asked about moving to a less busy area but they said all the other tables were reserved. They were not very busy that evening and many tables were open the entire time we were there so I'm not sure what that was about. Other than the poor table location, the experience was very good."

"Overall the food was very good. Service was very attentive and pleasant. Fatoosh could have used more lemon and larger pieces of bread, lamb was good, but some pieces of the kabob were not medium rare(which I know is difficult). What are the odds of kibbee made only with lamb?"

"Overall I will say I was happy with the experience at Zaya. The smells of the food when we first walked in were amazing and the food was just beyond what I expected.
However, there are a couple of things that I was not happy with. I made reservations on February 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and when we arrived there the hostess looked mad, no smile was just very cold. We were sat in the back which was fine but the whole time we had to keep jackets on because it was too cold. Our waitress was nice but seemed not too interested in her job. We asked questions about the food and she certainly did not know what to answer. She did not check up on us as much as she should have or as much as we would of liked."

"I had a good time and so did my date. But it was just that, Good, not Great. Service was a bit lacking, but the restaurant itself (the facility, lighting, etc) was very nice. The food was very tasty and flavorful. On the whole it seemed mildly overpriced for what it was."

"My husband and I both love Lebanese food and were excited to find a great Lebanese restaurant in the city. I'm hooked on the appetizers and usually just order several of those (the labne, which is like a yogurt cream cheese, and the mujadra are great) but my husband usually gets the lamb in some form. We've been there at least 10 times and have never had a bad experience, though once the service was a bit slow and we almost missed our Dad's Garage show. They also usually offer good drink specials."

"Nice quaint resturant in a nice small neighboorhood. Food was good and fulfilling. Price was reasonable. Had dinner for four with four alcoholic beverages for a total of $130. Service was good and attentive. Wait for food was not long at all. Parking is available on the street or next door for small fee. Free valet parking also available. Dress was casual. Overall a good resturant to meet friends for a quick unpretentious dinner. Would return."

"The food was sunny and well-prepared. I like my med food with lots more garlic but I know that's probably more a personal thing. Portions were generous and even with three hungry adults and two entrees, we couldn't finish. Nick, our waiter, was exceptional. He knew lots about the food and, though he admitted being too young to have sampled the wines, he had carefully observed what wine drinkers ordered with each dish. There was laughter and warm surroundings, big groups and intimate couples. Great rainy Saturday night in ATL."

"The food was excellent - we ate too much of the bean dip with pita bread as an appetizer, so we were stuffed. I had a spicy shrimp dish that was very flavorful, along with the hummus and tabouleh."

"The overall experience was good, but the prices are a little high for the midgrade restaurant experience. Particularly the wines at $10 per glass quickly become an excessive cost. Three people with 2 glasses apiece plus a light dinner end up at $150 with tip. I prefer red, my wife prefers white wine. The price of the glass should not match the price of an entire bottle at the retailer."

"We are so glad we tried this restaurant out Friday night! Great atmosphere and even greater food! Out of all the dishes we had at our table the lamb dishes were the biggest winners, but everything was quite good. Will definitely return!"

"it all began when we arrived 15 min. early. they said our table would be available in 15 min. we were a party of 4 and i was selected to go to the bar to get a bottle of wine and one mixed drink. i stood at the bar and was ignored for 14 minutes by the bartender. i placed my order and was then immediately seated. we orderred the drinks at the table and placed our order. appetizers were very good, and we then plaed our dinner orders. dinner then arrived ,but the table had not been cleared and we had to stack ouir own plates to make room for the dinner plates. no one came back to the table to see if the entrees were prepared correctly. two of the four entrees were problematic. a lamb shis kabob was welldone,it was orderred rare. the rib eye"
