"Thank you so much for honoring my request for a quiet spot to meet with my daughter, sister and niece! We had a great time and what to send a particular shout out to the waiter who was gracious and knowledgeable! He also makes great drinks."

"Great quality food for the price. Nice ambiance with great service comes with solid food, not fooled around with. The pasta is always so light and yet oh so flavorful! Fish is very fresh, and always cooked in a very simple but very flavorful way. Love the place!"

"This used to be my favorite lunch spot for years but my recent lunch will be my last for a while. The food is still pretty good - but the menu has been the same for ever, no creativity, all the same. Prices went up though. Gets old after a while. Service used to be very good - not this time. Disappointed."

"Lovely experience at the GG! The waitstaff is super-personable and tried to really make everyone feel at home. Very romantic but relaxed vibe. The Bone marrow app is a must have. It was perfectly prepared and my favorite plate of the evening. Sea Urchin and Clams linguine was well done, but I wish I'd chosen something a little more fun. There was nothing wrong with it. The steak was also a great choice. I could have done with a slightly less sweet sauce, but I'm not partial to bbq-y flavors. Jargon Pinot Noir was an excellent choice for the steak and linguine entres. Get the meringue for dessert. So soft and creamy! (Rasberry sauce on the side!)"

"Since we are in the neighborhood, sometimes we like to stop by for a quick bite for lunch. BUT my biggest complaint is that the restaurant expects you to make a reservation - even for lunch. The restaurant may be empty and still they ask - "do you have reservations?" We probably go eat at Greenwich more often if the restaurant wasn't so rigid about reservation requirements."

"Food was excellent, just the right portion. It's been a while since I last visited this place, but great to know that it's still going on strong. Will visit again whenever I get a chance."

"The sea urchin pasta was very, very salty. I wish that the sea urchin taste could have come through a bit more infused with the dish (I felt like I was just eating a typical pasta with pieces of sea urchin on top). The panna cotta was great, but nothing special."

"My boyfriend and I ate at Greenwich Grill for the first time on Saturday evening - our reservation was at 9:15 PM and we were running a bit late but surprisingly for a Saturday the place was not crowded at all and we sat right away. We started w/ the beef carpaccio - a bit salty but still pretty good. For our entrees I had the penne w/ arrabbiata pork ragu sauce and it was amazing - perfect amount of flavor and spice in the sauce. My boyfriend had the potato stuffed ravioli's w/ braised oxtail on top [it was a special], I tasted it - very hearty meal - he is a big fan of oxtail and loved it. For dessert we had the strawberry cobbler - even if you are not a dessert fan it is worth trying. We can't wait to come back and try the sushi."

"The Greenwich Grill was appealing, and the servers were patient while the rest of our lunch party arrived. The sushi we ordered as appetizers were small, and fishy. The out of our party of 4, 2 ordered the burgers and they were not cooked to specifications. The burger that was supposed to be well-done was cooked med-well, and the vice-versa. The waitress did bring the med-well burger back to the kitchen, however, when it came back out it appreared to be a new burger (good) but the bun was soggy at this point (bad.) The burgers also came in in a brown bag - very uncomfortable to take out and eat. The bottom buns were very soggy. The waitress was kind however, seemed inexperienced. She did not come over at likely times."

"Food was good!! Especially the seafood salad. I was very dissappointed when I requested if we could have sushi they informed me that it depends on the night! When they confirmed our reservations 4 hours before our arrival I was informed that. "Yes" I can have sushi. Only to be told when we arrived that I now can NOT have sushi. My husband and I were the only two people upstairs and even if down stairs was crowded. He couldn't make a lousy 2 pieces of sushi. Next time don't tell me YES!! I would have been fine in the first place. Now for the waitress, she was a walking robot with a fake smile and when I asked to pace our courses. I guess she didn't understand what that meant because our entres where coming out on top of each other."

"This is a wonderful place for lunch. Lunch is very good - with a choice of salad, entree, and dessert and coffee. Enjoyed the green salad, curried chicken pasta and the pana cotta with caramel sauce. The service is outstanding and professional. They are always so pleasant. I guess that's why it's my first choice whenever we go out for lunch."
