"The food and atomsphere was fabulous. Its a nice wine bar with great food, and works well when having a group of friends for a get together or just a nice evening with that speacial someone. The food is great, I tend to go with the specials each and everytime that I dine, but have had the menu items which are just as great."

"Things seemed a little off last Friday. I often come with my parents since it is down the street from me. Our salad had bacon on it after we had asked the waitress to not have it, she took it off our bill. Our pizza was good but not very warm/hot. The chicken was dry too. I would still go back because I felt like it was just an off night."

"We have enjoyed Scoozi since its opening some almost 20 years ago--especially love the large flatbread pizza. Great taste and value. Ambience is great. I have one complaint which has happened consistently--at least the last four times we've been there. Whether you have a reservation or not, no matter when you arrive, they make you wait at least 15 minutes in the bar and you can see there are many empty open tables in the dining room. Typically, we have had to wait 15 minutes for the table we could see was vacant, but they wouldn't let us sit. Im not sure if they are just trying to pump up the bar scene, but this is very annoying when we are hungry. We prefer to have drinks at the table and not in the bar!"

"The bread was great. The food was overall fairly good but the portions were considerably smaller than expected to the point where we got a snack on the way home. The atmosphere was really nice and it seemed like a cool place. The biggest complaint we had was regard to the service. It was Valentine's Day but it was not exceptionally busy and our waiter seemed very disinterested so much so that we had to ask for things multiple times and even ordered drinks that we never got. Luckily we were not charged for them either. Not sure we would go back but it was ok."

"Feb. 13th was our first time visiting and given that it was a very busy Valentine's Day date night the service was very good. There were a couple of little glitches, nothing to be concerned over, and our server (wish I could remember his name!) addressed them immediately and very satisfactorily. We will go again!!"

"My husband and I went to Scoozi for our anniversary dinner and the food was great! I just love it there, I love the atmosphere and the food it amazing. Our reservation was for 7pm on a Saturday, prime time for dinner, so we ended up having to wait an extra 30 mins for a table but it wasn't too bad. Our server could have been a little more attentive like she was with the larger tables but the delicious food made up for it, once we got it. I would definitely recommend Scoozi to any adult that wants to have a delicious dinner without the cost being too great. I don't know that area very well but the restaurant was hopping and looked to be a very popular place with every age group."

"The scallop special was great and the ravioli trio was good too though the portions could have been a bit bigger. Enjoyed the wine flight they offered and the bread and oil is always good. The service was just a bit lacking. It was a full house but they should have been ready for it on Saturday February 13. Overall, it was still good and I would go back again."

"Good food, good wine list, good martinis. I liked the fact that you can find parking on the street for about four dollars. "We celebrated my husband's birthday at Scoozi recently. They serve the most perfect Italian bread, crunchy on the outside with course salt and soft on the inside, with EVOO and fresh parm. The salad with roasted cauliflower and pine nuts was enhanced by the light, fruity dressing. My husband enjoyed the lasagna Bolognese special and I enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli. I could have been happy with just the salad, bread and wine. Then I would have had room for the complimentary dessert that was offered which we had to decline. We love Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. You can always count a delicious meal, great service and wonderful atmosphere."

"My wife and I went here on New Year's Eve at the recommendation of some friends, and frankly, were disappointed. The restaurant was no where near as cozy or romantic as we had hoped. In fact, on the night we were there, the restaurant was running a free pizza for children special that obviously changed the ambience from rustic Italian to more of a food court. The atmosphere aside, the food was quite good, although for the price, portions were a bit on the small side. We will probably not go back given that there are many other dining options in the same category that are far better -- any of the Francesca's, for example."

"Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was portion controlled and amount of food was not in agreement with the price range. The quality of the food was equivalent to a tv dinner. When we were given 1 piece of bread each to go with our olive oil, we were hesitant to ask for more. When we did, we got 1 piece of bread again and we realized Scoozi needed the bread more than we did. Our server was great and we tipped well for her efforts."

"The service was poor. Our waitress started out energetic and then disappeared. The reservation was for a pre new year meal where we needed to leave prior to 7:30 so it wasn't busy. we saw our server for an initial drink order then waited for 15 minutes for her to return to order appetizers. Our salads and dinner were received without even a check in to see if they were satisfactory. It's been a long time since I was at Scoozie but it will be a longer time until I return again."

"The food was very good. They were slow to seat us despite the fact that we had reservations and it was early so there were many open tables. 5 or 6 groups came in after us and were seated before us. The waiter was good, but service of the food and clearing of plates was slow."

"This was our first visit to Scoozi (I shared that information with our server & he made several recomendations). Our dinner party consisted of 2 adults, 1 teenager & 1 child. Everything was absolutely perfect (appetizers, entrees & desserts). The restaurant is very open yet cozy. There wasn't an open seat anywhere. The wine selection is out of this world! The service was outstanding. Scoozi is ran like a "well oiled machine".
I could not give Scoozi anything less than an A+!

Kudos to Scoozi!"

"The food was great, the wine recommendations were great, and the service was great. I even messed up the reservation and they made it work for us. We had two small kids with us and it was perfect!! There's enough noise to drown out kid chatter and not too much that you can't communicate. This is our new favorite place to head out when friends or family come into town and we want a nice dinner but also want a place we can take our kids as well. P.S. - We don't let our kids run around or leave their seats, they behave at dinner, by kid-friendly we mean not too reserved that we can't laugh and enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend the pasta with smoked chicken!!"

"This experience at Scoozi was sub par compared to other times eating there. The pastas were uninspired with generic tasting sauces. Presentation, as always, is straightforward. Particularly notable was the actively bad service, again in contrast to other times eating at the restaurant. Though it was early on a week night, the server paid little attention to our table and when asked for recommendations she basically said, "everything is good." The restaurant can be a good, basic Italian dining experience and is well suited to large parties."

"Everything was very good. The only thing missing was at reservation time I did mention we were celebrating my sons 11th birthday. They did wish him Happy Birthday at check-in but that was it.
