"We were searching the internet for a nice place to celebrate Mother's Day (last minute) and while checking out Saline came across Mac's. We were able to make on-line reservations (great option!!) and when we arrived, we were seated immediately (wait was 30 minutes without a reservation.). The service was wonderful, the food was fantastic!
I could see this being a great place to meet up with friends, or just to take some time for ourselves! We will be back!"

"Good location for a casual restaurant that seems to cater to the local crowd. I drove 60 miles just for my own curiosity. My date had a seafood platter and I had a fish 'n' chips, made with haddock. Nothing overwhelming here but good, decent well-prepared food at competitive prices. I ventured to try a dessert and the key lime pie appeared to have been around for awhile, the filling quickly separating from the graham cracker crust to show a light-green, dark-green filling that looked like it had been out too long. Noticing my dissatisfaction, management quickly removed it from my table and from my bill. Overall, a good experience worthy of a return trip."

"Mac's has been a long time favorite restaurant for my wife and me. Love the atmosphere, food and the service is usually very good and attentive. The owner(s) have done a great job keeping the place the same over all of these years (I'm sure they've made upgrades and changes, but it's still energenic and a fun, yet romantic place to dine). Macy's is special to us and we'll continue to dine there when we're in the area."

"Mac's is a great place to eat, I have eaten hear many times and the food is always good. Great place especially if you like seafood as fish can be prepared in so many ways, and there are so many choices of fresh fish.
Love that they offer a free dinner on your birthday, downside to that is it has to be ON your birth date.

"We have dined at this restaurant before.
It used to be fairly reasonable, but the pricing has gone up just in the last year even for some fairly basic entrees. The average entree is about $22 with an extra charge for salad instead of coleslaw. Pricing for kids meals is high. They are free on Sundays with exceptions. If there are other celebrations they will not honor the kids eat free. $6.99 is a little steep for a grilled cheese.

The unique choice of sides and vegetables that you do not find everywhere are a plus. The bread is wonderful. The grilled and broiled entrees are the best choice."
