Serafina takes a very honest approach to Northern Italian food with only the highest quality ingredients. Serafina's Fabulous Pizza delights diners with a simplicity of recipe execution combined with creative and original Italian dishes.
"We were seated early immediately after the theatre. The food was very good. We had two pizzas which are very thin crust and delicious. Pasta was homemade and excellent. Salmon was a bit raw But cooked a bit more and we were happy. We had 20% off for having we had theatre Ticket. Cheesecake was authentic Italian. We would all return."

"We got there at 6pm on Sunday after a show and the restaurant was basically empty, I think 2-3 tables were seated. The man at the front desk was busy doing seething in the computer and ignored us. The hostess who sat us was emotionless! The service overall was very slow and the prices were a little high for the value of food. We said we should have gone to the Irish Pub down the block!"

"Easy to get in and out. Friendly. My only issue is w/the caviar pasta which is exceptional overall: they keep adding and taking amounts of caviar so I never know what I'm gonna get. This Easter Sunday it was impossible to find and a waste to order it. They need to STANDARDIZE with the predictability of STARBUCKS the way this dish should APPEAR. Charge more and at least let us TASTE the caviar and FIND IT! In the photo I took for Facebook you can't even see any! What a shame to think about it for 40 days of Lent and decide to have caviar pasta on Easter Sunday with NO Caviar...."

"Three of us went for an after-theater dinner on a Sunday evening. It was a nice surprise to see that if we showed our tickets, we received 20% off our total dinner!Enjoyed the sangria, shared herbed focaccia bread and had fried calamari for an appetizer. I would have liked the marinara sauce to be a little spicier. I had the spaghetti with lobster and so did my friend. She had it removed from the shell, I didn't.(Our waiter brought steaming hot towels for me after I made a mess of my hands. THANK YOU!)The third meal was the baby gnocchi which was a big hit. Very attentive staff and nice decor. It was not crowded at 6PM and we appreciated the calm surroundings. I would definitely go back."

"Took our four grand children (five to ten years old) there for lunch before a Saturday matinee. They enjoyed the atmosphere and the pasta and pizza and desserts. Our waitress was excellent - friendly and attentive."

"This is a good Italian restaurant in a hotel, but you wouldn't notice that. The decor is open, bright, modern and refreshing. The cooking is absolutely fine, but nothing to rave about. Very reliable, traditional Italian, without, however, being over-sauced like a lot of Italian restaurants used to be."

"I've eaten at Serafina quite a few times and I have never been disappointed! I've eaten there for lunch & dinner & absolutely love the 'goat cheese & spinach salad'. Best in the city! My only 'negative' this time is that we felt a little rushed. We had no 'down time' between courses but that certainly didn't hinder the taste!"

"I live in NYC and am a fan of Serafina on the East Side but this restaurant is bland an boring. I had to flag down our waiter on 3 occassions to take drink orders and refill our water. We got a pasta and pizza and needed to add salt to both because they had no flavor. Plus our pizza looked sad. Like it had been hanging out to dry. Our waiter never even came to check on us. We had to flag a manager and she apologized, took off the pizza and then no one ever returned. We had to get our check from a random busboy. Oh, and there were 3 other occupied tables in this restaurant so I'm not sure how we were so overlooked. Disappointing experience, but then again, i guess restaurants don't think they have to work hard in Times Square"
