The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.
Get reeled in to our U-shaped bar or wood-paneled dining room. Those traveling to and from Cape Cod on Route 93 are known to make a stopover for seafood. And not to be missed: two monumental fish tanks in our restaurant, one fresh water and one salt water.

"I have never had a bad experience at Legal Seafoods. Service is first rate and I am never disappointed with my meal. The wine list is out of this world. Making a reservation the night before was the best way to go. We were seated right away and everything from the dinner rolls to dessert was divine!"

"we had dinner here after the horrific events of the Marathon bombing, this allowed my brother (who is a BPD officer fully involved in the events) the time to unwind and enjoy a fabulous meal with family. the waitress was amazing...very accomodating, patient and willing to go a step beyond in ensuring our meals were just what we wanted. I feel terrible I dont remember her name but I do know we were seated at table "305". Delicious food, tasty drinks and great company!"

"We booked a table for lunch to celebrate my Mother's 94th birthday. I mentioned the occasion in my reservation and was pleased to have it noted by both the hostess and the waitress. It made my Mother feel special - as she should. "An old friend of mine met up for a quick bite. We thought we would be going out onto the floor, but decided instead to just sit at the bar. The service was excellent, thoughtful, and efficient. The fish and chips were cooked extremely well. The only bad point is when the bartender couldn't tell me where exactly the Oysters of the evening were from, which to me is a huge faux pas and grounds to not eat any oysters! Know your localities!"

"My family was very pleased with everything from the food to the service. We made reservations through open table and were immediately seated on time. Our waiter took the time to explain a variety of dishes and came to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was extremely fresh and very tasty. "We don't come here all that frequently because the prices are high (~$100 for dinner for 2), but the food is always excellent, so we save it for special occasions. we live very close to Boston, and often eat out in the city, but when we can't make that happen, this is a wonderful alternative. It seems that nothing on the menu is bad, so anything you choose will be good. Our waitress this visit was hysterical, which made our visit all the more special. We'll be back again this year when another special occasion is upon us."

"I am a frequent diner at this location and have never had a bad experience. Consistently good food. On this particular evening I chose a grilled striped bass. Cooked to perfection. Served with a delicious and perfectly cooked creamy rissoto and roasted brussels sprouts. My dining partner ordered stuffed trout. A whole trout on the plate stuffed with a shrimp, cornbread and bacon stuffing. Served over a beautiful bed of greens which picked up the smokiness and bacon flavor of the stuffing. Phenomenal dish!

"The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. I ordered the mix grill and enjoyed it very much. We were also brought an amuse bouche for scheduling our reservation on Open Table which was a very nice touch.
Our server was knowledgeable and very nice. They were quick to accomodate requests (holding cheese, etc.) We will definitely dine here again."
