Located in a historical home in the resort town of Dana Point, Luciana's Ristorante has been serving the Orange County community for over 30 years. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy European-style inn, establishing it as one of Orange County's most romantic restaurants. Awarded the Southern California Restaurant Writers gold medal since 1996, three stars from the California Restaurant Writers, Zagat Survey, Zagat's Top Italian Restaurants of North America and an Award of Excellence for its wine list, Luciana's has been setting the standard for classic as well as innovative Italian cuisine. "Very good food, attentive staff. We had to finish dinner within an hour and they accommodated the request well. Wife liked the seared tuna, I had linguine Luciana, which was quite good, and the linguine was al dente as requested. A bit too dark inside, but tastily decorated with old books and wine racks."

"I went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. In fact this is the second year in a row that we celebrated with a dinner at Lucianas. Jose was our waiter and he is excellent. Friendly, happy, and always on the spot. Without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Dana Point. My wife stated that is was best salmon she had ever had. I tasted it, and she was right. The Caprese salad was big enough for two and I had the Pollo Florentine. Very good. They even prepared a special dessert with a little candle on it as their way to wish my wife Happy Birthday as well."

"I was extremely disappointed with our experience. We had a 7:30 reservation and we were not seated until after 8:00. We asked someone for drink service while we waited (after 20 minutes) and they never got back to us. I asked for my meat med. rare and got well done. "Their events coordinator did great job of helping me arrange our dinner event, from helping me build our menu, selat wine and even advise the servers to make certain to call for cabs when they presented the check. Great food and ambiance."

"Everything about this place is awesome!! First off the wine list is insane with choices from all around the world. Second, the food is very authentic. If you've ever been to Italy and you want a restaurant that is very close to the food you eat while you're there, this is the place. Service was great, the people were friendly and excited that you, as a customer, were there. So next time you're in Dana Point, California make sure you stop in at this little local Italian gem. You wont regret it!"
