A Modern American Steakhouse, BOURBON STEAK Miami offers contemporary American fare with a focus on all natural, organic and hormone free cuts of beef poached and finished over the wood-burning grills. The restaurant also features Michael Mina's Lobster Pot Pie as well as the ever-popular Duck Fat French Fries.
BOURBON STEAK'S striking design was created by internationally renowned architect/design firm, Tony Chi and Associates. A dynamic twelve foot high glass box entry provides a dramatic welcome to guests. Comprised of a number of different spaces, the breathtaking 7,600 square foot restaurant includes The Tavern, a casual dining space fed by the energy of an adjacent bar, a wine cellar and lounge, a large glamorous dining room with glittering mirrored walls and a "glass box" private dining room. There is also an additional Tasting Room with a private garden.
"My $75 bone-in dry aged rib steak was ordered medium rare/medium. I was sharing the steak with a friend and cut the steak in half. It was absolutely raw. It was sent back. When it was returned to the table it was over chared and dry. The meat lost all its juices. It did retain good flavor. Caesar salad consisted of three wedges of romaine lettuce with a caesar dressing unlike any caesar dressing I ever had before. The color of the dressing was slightly pink, very strange! For $15 the salad should be perfect."

"All of the 4 dinners we had were of great guilty. The Duck/ Froie Gras burger and the Ribeye were excellent. Our server was excellent catering to our needs and giving good wine recommendations, but not just up selling. However the atmosphere was more casual than the D.C. Bourbon steak and there were a lot of children, so not a place for just adults or romantic dinner. The design was also a little low class, even after they dim the lights. At most the dress code was casual. However, I will say the steak was cooked better than the D.C. location."

"We had a great time last Saturday! We never thought that we could fine such a great place so close to us! Our server Oliver was outstanding and extremely professional, everything he recommended was put of this world. It was out first year anniversary and more than three waiters congratulated us, and the also gave us a card with a beautiful message with a complementary dessert! We will be back soon for sure!"

"The staff went above and beyond what is necessary to make my anniversary dinner special in more ways than one. My wife's favorite thing in the world is a root beer float. They surprised her with one I requested, and accompanied it with homemade cookies that were out of this world. They also sent an anniversary card to our table that they all had signed. It was really special, and made my wife feel like a million bucks."

"I have been at this place several times and always while the food is very good the service is always lacking. Maybe it's just me and I maybe a little over critical but I think it's a little arrogant of this restaurant not to put salt and pepper on the table. I think that when I'm paying the kind of prices that this restaurant is demanding I should be able to eat the food seasoned as I like it and to wait around for the salt and pepper while your 90 dollar steak is getting cold is not what I consider good service. Also, when their famous fries come to your table after you're halfway done with your steak I think that service is also an issue. Overall, the food is very good. However, the waiters that are hired to serve are lousy."

"They welcome us by name. They recall what we ate last time we were here. Very impressive that they keep a profile on returning guests. They really try to make your dinner a special experience throughout the night. The food is is wonderful and well prepared. There is no wait for a table like at Prime 112 and there is enough space between tables to have a conversation. They have the right formula, hire and train the right people and this makes for agreat evening. Kudos!"

"The food was very good overall. The only complaint was that one of the steaks we ordered was overcooked. Upon returning it we had to wait another 25 min for the replacement steak to arrive."

"Bourbon Steak was definately a high end steakhouse. The restaurant itself is very beautiful inside. I had the Tuna Tartare appetizer and it was amazing, prepared tableside. For dinner i had the Local Bass it was great and definately fresh. Service was top notch. Just like all the other Michael Mina Restaurants."

"had an 18 oz ribeye,medium rare,cooked perfectly.we also had 2 sides,roasted mushrooms and brussel sprouts.Mushrooms were good and brussel sprouts on the salty side.In general an excellent meal although overpriced in my view(ribeye-$54,each side $10)"

"We thought this place would have great food and service. It had neither. We were a twosome. Our initial server left us for at a table with a larger group. No hard feelings until our subsequent server ignored us after taking our order. He never returned for our wine order. The french fries provided in lieu of bread were excellent but my filet was not. It was quite ordinary. My dining partner's veal chop was inedible with gristle and fat and was returned. We were provided complimentary wine and dessert to compensate. The dessert beignets sound better than they tasted and the apple clafoutis was more like warm, chunky applesauce. Sorry, I'm not recommending this Michael Mina restaurant."
