The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, only blocks from Staples Center, Nokia Theater, and Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA features a 24-7 Restaurant for around-the clock breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Executive Chef, Micah Fields offers his signature fun and palate pleasing twist to traditional classics. Keep in mind, however, that the highly popular Rooftop Bar does not take reservations and has limited capacity.

"The best thing about eating here for us on Mother's Day is how attentive the Host and Servers were, everyone was very professional and cheerful. The breakfast entrees were pretty good, no complaints from anyone."

Review 3 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"Trendy. Be careful if you sit too close to the smoking area. The trendy place becomes annoying, if you hate most like most Californians. Interesting how two people can influence dozens."

Review 4 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"I used your venue for a business dinner meet n greet, with the after dinner drinks for the roof top. But WOW! the crowd on that roof top was not really condusive for business clients, a tad raunchy and spoiled the views of LA that I thought our out of town guest would enjoy.
under stand tredny and all, but may a bit more security should be thought about."

Review 5 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"I love the bright yellow 60's-ish mod decor. It's just happy. The place is busy, the food is good. There's a nice patio outside when the weather's nice. Portobello fries were fantastic!!"

Review 7 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"This would have been a much better experience had the server not been completely distracted and disinterested in serving us. It was quite a disappointment, and almost embarrassing since I had booked a special dinner date for Valentines Day, and we were left neglected and waiting even while guests around us were helped by other servers. He never brought bread or water or menus - the manager/matre'd had to do both. And he was gone for much of the evening.
Drinks, however, were good and the special menu was delicious - loved the sashimi appetizer, fish, and lobster mashed potatoes under an delightful filet mignon. The lavender creme brulee was exquisite as well.
To top off an excellent experience, try the SPiN ping pong club upstairs!"

Review 8 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"Think we arrived early because there was no hostess, but the bartender was very helpful and attentive - even though it appeared that he and another server covered the entire downstairs area (there was a special event on the rooftop). Drinks were fabulous!"

"The food looked like any fast food with 3-4 times the price. Waitress was super nice. Interior is nice and interesting modern looking. Overall nothing special."

Review 10 for The Restaurant at the Standard, Downtown LA
"I greatly appreciate the attention Hillary provided by calling to see if we were running late for our reservation. Overall the experience was nice. The starter was good and the entree was the highlight of the evening. I participated in the DineLA experience for dinner and would say that the portion was quite small for the amount of money you paid. I left thinking I could've used a little more food."
