Nino's - Atlanta
Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982.
Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident.
After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's.
For more than twenty years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest.
His reputation for serving exceptional Italian cuisine has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of celebrities (see below) who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare.
Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio invites you to relax and savor some of the great culinary treasures of Italy in a memorable dining experience.

"After reading reviews I was eager to try this restaurant. I was overall, disappointed. While the food was 'ok', the service was lacking.
We had a particularly inattentive (albeit friendly) server who never recited specials or asked if we wanted desserts or drinks after dinner. I would expect more out of a Zagat rated facility.

"We had a group of 20 high school students and Ninos did an excellent job with our dinner. They arranged a special menu which included a salad, choice of entree, dessert, and beverage. They set a flat fee to include meal, tax and gratuity. The wait staff was very efficient and friendly! They were able to handle a large crowd."

"No visit to Atlanta is complete without a meal at Nino's. The veal was divine, the minestrone clear and fresh, rapini with slivers of garlic like Mom makes, oh the bread was crusty and soft but no doughy inside. Coffee was end of the night sitting brew that held a flavor , brochette was fresh. Sweet butter for the bread. All pepper from mill as the cheese was offered for each dish. "We ate there our first night in Atlanta and fell in love with the food, service and ambiance. First place I've been to in 10 years that played fantastic music to go with WONDERFUL food!
After touring GA, NC & SC for 3 weeks we all three agreed that only Nino's would do for our farewell to the southeast dinner. Just as fantastic as the first time!

"I've eaten at Nino's many times and the food is always terrific. For some reason, however, the service was incredibly slow on this visit, which I've never experienced before. We waited a very long time for our drinks to arrive, and the entrees seemed like they took forever. Whether Nino's was overbooked or understaffed I don't know, but something was wrong. I would have given them a rating of very good. But with the service as slow as it was I could only rate this visit as fair."

"We have been to Nino's several times and have always had a great time. However on Friday April 19th we had really bad service. The food was great as always but we had to wait an hour after we ordered before we ate. When we first sat down we waied 15 mins before the waiter (Gerardo) took our drink orders. Then we waited another 15 mins to receive our drinks. A few of the other waiters including Gerardo's brothers were trying to help him out but Gerardo had a clear I don't care attitude. If you go to Nino's avoid Gerardo unless you want to experience a 3 hour dining experience."

"This was my first trip to Nino's. I frequent Alfredo's which is a block away but wanted a little change. It was fantastic. They made Chicken Parmasean for me, it was not on the menu and it was quite good. The marinara was incredible. My wife had the grilled salmon on greens and she thought it was excellent too. Service was just right, not too attentive, but there whenever we needed anything.
This is a great find, it gives me two options for nice italian close to my home."

"i LOVE this place. Alas, i made the bad decision of going on a valentine-related Saturday. The place was Incredibly packed and i could tell the service suffered a bit. I don't hold it against them because i know, no matter where i went, it would have been no better.

"My boyfriend and I have been going to Nino's for a while now. We most recently went on Valentine's Day and it was amazing as always! We asked to be moved to a more private table that we saw available and they didn't hesitate to accommodate us. The food is amazing and the service is great as well! The people really care about making every occasion a special occasion!"

"Nino's on Valentine's Day was a good dinner date. The food was excellent and the waiter was prompt and knowledgeable.
The only issue I really had was with the tight parking. People were making their own parking spaces so there were problems leaving the parking lot."

"We had a wonderful family dinner here. I reserved through Open Table and requested a booth in a quiet area of the restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and paced the meal well for our party of five. The food was excellent, I told my husband that we definitely need to come here more often."

"We have been going to Nino's since we discovered it last year. The staff are very friendly and we have never had a bad experience. The food is spectacular and the specials that they have always sound great. We had our anniversary there this year and I had flowers delivered to the restaurant. When we arrived the hostess knew immediately about the flowers from the reservation and helped to discretely place them on the table before we sat down. I could not have asked for better service."
